I’ve been thinking of everyone in the path of Hurricane Dorian. Thankfully my family (in two states) just saw high winds, broken branches, mild flooding and some power outages. Sign-ups for the Fraterfest Read-a-thon will be this week. If you’d like to a host a fun challenge email me. Today is my husband’s annual company sponsored day at the pumpkin patch. So we are off with the Royals. I am leaving our troubles behind for a day. Stay Caffeinated!

Thanks for the well wishes. Luckily, we just suffered some windiness and loss of power for about 40 minutes. Yay to the new release from Lori Foster! Hugs, RO

Kimba, I hope you had a great time at the pumpkin patch. I’m just getting caught up on stuff. My middle grade book releases tomorrow. For some reason, I’m pretty nervous but still excited about it. I hope we both have an awesome week!

I hope you’re able to relax and just enjoy that time at the pumpkin patch with the Royals. It’s that time of year again isn’t it? Everyone here is dying to get Halloween decorations out. I love decorating, but the actual giving of the candy is so hard when my dogs go nuts every time someone comes. Hopefully it is nice out and maybe we’ll sit outside.

I used to love pumpkin patch visits! I enjoyed seeing all the pictures. Glad you were able to get away from problems and just have fun. I’ll be interested to see what you thought of Lies. I really liked it.

I hope you had a fun day at the pumpkin patch. I have seen The Vanishing on several blogs. Lethal Memory looks good too.
Hope you have a good week.

I hope you have a lovely day! We only got a bit of wind and rain, nothing too bad. Have a great week with some good weather and wonderful reads.

Yes, the relief we felt when we saw Dorian was downsizing when it drew near our family and friends was big.
Have fun at the pumpkin patch. We hit the apple orchard yesterday. Had to bring a jug of cider and bag of apples home. 🙂
    I snagged The Vanishing, too.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

Glad to hear you and yours were relatively unscathed by Dorian – and like you, my thoughts go out to those who were… Have a lovely time at the pumpkin patch, Kimberly:))

Pumpkin patch! That sounds like super fun! I haven’t been to one in ages!

We mostly got the high winds and loss of power from Dorian, I’m so grateful it wasn’t worse!

    Have an awesome Sunday!

Oh have fun at the pumpkin fest! I swear yours in US are ginormous!!! And I also thought about all friends on the path of Dorian! This is so frightening.

The cover “The Vanishing” by Jayne Ann Krentz looks gorgeous. I don´t know what kind of troubles you are facing, but I do hope that you will be able to leave them behind soon. Oh ya, the pumpkins. I remember them well. I see lots of great recipes now on our supermarkets´ website which make your mouth water. Have a great new week.

mention of hurricane dorian reminds me of your POTUS and his really bad tweets…if only he really does something to help out the victims though =d

I’m glad your family is all right, and that Dorian was weaker by the time it neared US shores. But my heart goes out to all those in the Bahamas. The devastation and loss of life there are heartbreaking.

Ooh, you’ve got Jayne Ann Krentz’s new book! I can’t wait to read it. Have fun!

So true about Dorian. Glad your relatives are safe. Have a nice week Kimba.
