For the month of May I read/listened to 22 books. I’ve managed 104 of 200 books for my Goodreads Challenge. I also finished not one but two series for the Finish a Series in A Month Challenge. I’m from Minnesota, so I sincerely hope that you enjoy your time here! The lakes are beautiful in the summer!

We are in Rochester, but this weekend we are heading up to an island to canoe and hike. My husband is at a business conference all week.

I hope you are having a nice time away from home! Great job on finishing some series last month. And thank you so much for sharing my Blogoversary post. 🙂

I feel like all my challenges (which weren’t numerous to begin with) fell off the cliff when I broke my leg. Sigh. I’ve already considered 2019 a wash, but I’m still enjoying what I can of my writing and reading goals!

LOL! Those owls are right on time. Congrats on all the books you’ve been reading and meeting your challenges, and Minnesota is fantastic. Hope you share lots and lots of pics of the trip! Hugs…RO

I hope you enjoy your ‘holiday’. Great job with 22 books in May and finishing two series. Your new books look good. And I love your Hoo Hoo image. 🙂 Happy Reading/listening!

I’m doing okay with my goals! I set my Goodreads goal to 500 this year, since I read a lot of comics, and I include some of the books I read with my kids. I almost made 500 last year, and I like to challenge myself. Yay audiobooks! I just started With the Fire on High and it’s fantastic! Enjoy your hotel amenities! Is there pampering in your future?

  8. Angela - Angel's Guilty Pleasures

Love the book haul Moly Harper’s new series in Audio is fun. I still need to listen to book 2 and I’ve got my sites set on the Mark Lawrence series too. Great job on your goals. Looks like you are doing great so far this year. I can’t believe it’s half way through the year. WOW!

  9. Tanya @ Rantings of a Reading Addict

I hope you have a nice, relaxing trip! I’ve got a lot of audios to get listened to. So many it was incentive to just finally get back on the treadmill so I have an excuse to listen! This week has a lot of great releases coming out and I’m excited!

  10. Samantha

That coffee meme is so cute! You had a super successful May. I only read/listened to 12 books and am behind (again) on my GR challenge. I even lowered the goal a few months ago because I was stressed about being behind. Now I’m behind again!

Fun times! Hope your trip and the sites will be just the thing. It sounds fun.

Way to go finishing the Series challenge two times over. I got my one series done- hence all the Angel the zombie over at Delighted Reader lately. LOL

You’re doing great on your GoodReads.

Yay for #JIAM. You got some good audios in your haul. I picked up Dev1at3, too and bought the first one on sale so now I can catch up.

Have fun with the rest of your trip, Kimberly!

  12. Lola

I hope you have a fun time in Minnesota That’s awesome you read/listened to so many books in may. Sounds like you’re doing well with your Goodreads challenge and are on schedule. I didn’t realize this was audio month. How fun! Have a great week!

  13. Sarah

Congratulations on being over halfway done with your reading challenge of 200 books, and for finishing 2 series in a month. I’m not in as good standing with my Goodreads challenge, but I’m working on it.

  14. Michelle Gilmore

Way to go on your Goodreads challenge! I’m hoping to be able to read a bit this month since I’ve failed so spectacularly for the first half of the year.

I hope you have a wonderful week kim!

  15. Jolene Wilson

I loved Clare Mackintosh’s previous book so I will have to check out After the End. I think I am about half way to my Goodreads goal too but my goal is only 101 books lol. Have a great week.

  16. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Nice! Seems like everyone is taking a trip or vacation lately. I have yet to plan one and it’s driving me nuts. My job is seriously stressing me out and I need a nice long vacation somewhere but I can’t seem to find anything that I can afford. Lol. Hopefully some bookish event will come up with a good lineup and I’ll have my break!

Nice new reads! These are new to me ones, though I of course know about Jay’s books! Hope you enjoy them all!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

OMG 22 books???? Once more I am in awe Kimberly! But enjoy the hotel amenities and everything this town has to offer! PS So jealous that you got Dev1at3!

  18. sjhigbee

You always awe me at the sheer number of books you manage to get through, Kimberly! I hope you enjoy your break in Minnesota – you’ve earnt it:)).

  19. Deb Nance at Readerbuzz

I hope you have a wonderful time in Minnesota. It’s already starting to get hot here. It will be wonderful up there, I bet.

It would be fun to celebrate Audiobook Month. I guess I will continue to slag through The Vicar of Wakefield. If only the first part of the book hadn’t been so good, or if only the end of the book was better.

    Have a great week!

  20. Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books

    Have fun in Minnesota!
I finished my series for Read a Series in a Month. It was the Alex Craft series by Kalanya Price, if you haven’t read it I highly recommend it! Especially since you’re another UF lover. 🙂
