I visited everyone who commented last week! Wahoo. It felt good catching up with everyone. I am still falling to sleep super early and my reading is suffering, but the Royals and I are falling into a routine with my work during the day. I am feeling better, but haven’t regained my stamina. It will come. This week for Valentine’s Day I did a giveaway, don’t miss your chance to win. We stayed in for V-Day and ordered a pizza. We ate by the fire and caught up on TV; it was nice, but I fell asleep before 9. Snow fell this weekend, and I cleaned a little. Regretfully! Not much else to report it was a quiet week. Stay Caffeinated.

That sounds fun to eat by a fire. I have fond memories of my dad thrrowing in a Duraflame into the fireplace and my mum playing music in the living room.
Barbara Strickland
Its just good to know you are getting better.
sherry fundin
Woo Hoo. Another fabulous week has come and gone. I wonder what this week holds in store for us.
Dani Eide
A quiet weekend sounds like just the thing. Especially since you’re still recovering. Looking forwad to all your reviews this week. Love Charles Finch and Martha Wells and The Undead Detective sounds great. Resting with your sweetie by the fireplace sounds like the best medicine! ❤️❤️
Tyler H. Jolley
It was freezing on Valentines day here so we basically had the same Valentine’s Day. Pizza, fireplace, good movies. I hope you make big gains in the energy department this week. Happy reading, Kimba.
Jen
I’m with you! I too keep falling asleep and not getting in any reading time. I need to go on vacation – oh wait…. I am in a week! Woo hoo!
I’m going to have to check out Polaris Rising – you are the third person to mention receiving it this week. I hope you enjoy.
Abby @ Novel Buzz
That sounds like a pretty relaxing week! I’m glad to see you’re doing better!
vvb
So glad you’re feeling better. Enjoy your new arrivals 🙂
Brandee @ (un)Conventional Bookworms
Ha! We had pizza and wine by the fire for V-Day. 😉 I’m happy you’re feeling better and I hope your stamina comes back quickly. I’m looking forward to seeing what you think of Polaris Rising. 🙂 Have a great week, Kim! <3
S. J. Pajonas
Pizza by the fire sounds like an excellent way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better, even if you’re tired. Hopefully your energy will come back.
Tanya @ Rantings of a Reading Addict
I have a habit of falling asleep really early too. It cuts into my reading big time. We had a quiet V day too. It’s not something we make a big deal over. We’re not the most romantic! LOL
Glad your week went well. Hope this week goes smoothly for you!
Ali
Sounds like a lovely Valentine’s Day!
Laura @ Library of Clean Reads
Quiet weeks are good to regroup and re-energize! Glad you’re better. Enjoy your new audiobooks.
MarthaE
Sometimes it’s hard to bounce back. Your body may still need plenty of rest. I can relate to that. We had a quiet V day too.
Polaris Rising is a title I want to look at.
Stay rested and Happy Reading!
Pixireads
It’s just finally snowing here. We’ll be out shoveling snow later tonight. It’s been treacherous around the neighborhood because in several places there is ice still and it’s now covered by snow.
Billy
There’s nothing wrong with pizza and TV on Valentine’s Day.
Melanie Simmons
Sounds like you’re starting to feel a little better. I hope it continues to go that way. I can’t even remember what we did for Valentine’s day. I know we ate in everyday this week. Have a great week.
Lynn
I need a quiet week so badly! I still got two more weeks to go until things will calm down, it feels like February just won’t end 🙂
JoLee
Best V-day ever pizza and Tv.
Sam@wlabb
I am happy to hear you are feeling better, and rest is always a good idea, especially during flu and cold season. Snow is horrible, but we seem to keep dodging the storms.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Rest is good! I’m so glad you’re feeling better. Our Valentine’s Day was pretty quiet, too, but we had a nice long call from Robin.
Stay warm and cozy, and have a good reading week!
Maureen @ Maureen's Books
I’m glad to read you’re slowly getting back to your routine. And I hear you about falling asleep early.. I have many plans at night.. but I just fall asleep early at the moment. Sigh..
Have a great week and happy reading!
Stephanie Jane (Literary Flits)
Glad you’re feeling better now and are finally shaking off that bug.
We saw snow this week – fortunately in the distance on the Sierra Nevada mountains. It did look quite deep up there and a pretty awesome sight!
Olivia-Savannah Roach
Maybe some early nights but you’re still on the path to recovery at the moment so that makes sense! Yay for early nights and a cozy, calm Valentine’s Day celebration. That sounds lovely <3
Lorna
Let’s hear it for a quiet week! Seriously, I’m glad you are getting some good rest and feeling better. They keep predicting snow here and then we get little to none. Which I guess is the good news here, although Tuesday is the next snowmaggeddan here with 3-5 inches expected. It was 5-8 so we will see!
Mary Kirkland
We did get a few snow flurries here which made people here crazy. Even if the snow doesn’t stick, the fact that we saw snow was exciting.
Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
Glad you’re feeling better… and the stamina will get there. It always takes me ages to truly get my energy back after an illness (especially a prolonged one).
Jolene Wilson
Glad you are feeling a bit better. I have been extra tired lately. Not sure if it is the weather or what!? Thanks for the giveaway chance.
ShootingStarsMag
Sleep is always good. I hope you get your stamina back soon though!! I thought it was supposed to snow some this weekend where I live, but nothing yet…not that I’m complaining! LOL
Lauren
Jennifer
Glad you’re feeling better. I went to bed early a couple of nights this week. Not sick, just tired. Hope you upcoming week is great and thanks for the giveaway (Birthday Suit).
Sophia Rose
Quiet weeks are gifts. Glad you’re catching up on your rest and getting back into the swing. Yesterday was errand day before the snow started and we went out to eat as a belated Valentine’s Day meal. I conked out early, too.
Ooh, Polaris Rising! That has caught my eye in some favorable reviews.
Have a great week, Kimberly!
Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Glad you’re finally starting to feel normal again and you’ve got a routine going!
Lover Of Romance
Sounds like you had a lovely Valentines Weekend, relaxing by the fire with your hubby is a good way to go!! 🙂 My parents always do something like that and do something special over the weekend away from the crazy people going out on V Day. But as long as you do something fun and relaxing–that is what counts. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Anne - Books of My Heart
A quiet week is a good week. I hope you will feel more energy soon but I’m glad you are giving your body the rest you need. I also got Polaris Rising and will be listening to it soon. I hope we both enjoy it.
Sophie
Yes Kimberly I’ve seen that you visited! I am happy to see that you are feeling better. As you’ve said the stamina will come back. Have a wonderful Sunday!

We had Tacos for valentines days. My husband and I really don’t celebrate we usually just hang with the kids 🙂
I hope this week is awesome for you Kim! Have a great week! Happy Reading! xx
Nick
Sounds like you are on the mend, Kim. After such a long bout of illness, the recovery/lethargy does take a while. So don’t feel too sad about sleeping early.
We’re supposed to see some snow next week and I don’t want!
Sam
It’s great that it was a quiet weekend. Those are the best! Mine was pretty wild because my dog broke his nail…
Stormi Johnson
I am glad it sounds like you are feeling a bit better, I am sure all the rest you are doing will help you mend. I swear this year and sickness is not grand as I got sick again. 🙁 Hope you have a great week!
Stormi
Lola
That’s nice you got to visit everyone back last week. I always try to do that with my own Sunday Post, but can’t always manage. Glad to hear you’re doing a bit better even with you still falling asleep early and nice you’re settling into a routine with the royals and your work. Have a great week!
Mary @StackingMyBookShelves!
I have to run out but just wanted to say hello. I am glad you are doing better. I have been working every minute I have on chemistry. Ughh this is not easy at my age. Have a wonderful week!

Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra
I’m glad you’re starting to feel a little better. We had a quiet Valentine’s here too because of all of the sickness. I hope you enjoy your new reads. I keep hearing good things about Polaris Rising.
Yvonne
I’m glad you are starting to feel better. We had similar Valentine’s Day right down to the pizza. That was more than fine with me. Hope you have a great week!
Samantha
Hopefully your stamina returns soon. Glad you had a quiet week-those are the best! I had parent teacher conferences for valentines day.
A Voracious Reader
Sometimes (ok, most times for me) all you need is a quiet week. Glad you’re on the mend! Now don’t overdo it. I wouldn’t mind snow one more time, but we’ll probably not get it. I’m pretty sure you’re ready for flip flops. Amirite? 😀
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Quiet weeks aren’t bad. Mine was pretty quiet for the most part too. Nothing exciting for me for Valentine’s Day which has been the norm for the past few years. Oh well. Hopefully if I get a new job that will open up my opportunities to meet people!
Nice new reads! I also picked up Polaris Rising this week! I kept reading reviews on it that made me convinced I’d enjoy it!
Hope you enjoy your newest additions!
Here’s my STS

Glad you got around to cleaning and pizza on Valentine’s day sounds swell.
Natalie @Natflix&Books
Sometimes quiet weeks are the best ones. We rarely eat out on Vday. It’s just too much hassle imo. Glad to hear you are feeling nostly better. Happy reading!
Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books
Yeay for catching up!
We don’t do Valentine’s day in our house… Although there was pizza and we do love pizza. 🙂
Evelina @ AvalinahsBooks
We stayed in for Valentine’s! Because I was still sick xD getting better now too. And there’s nothing wrong with going to bed early 😀 I have also been feeling like this!
Ailyn Koay

Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookworms
I’m glad you’re feeling better, Kim, even if you’re not back to 100% yet. Also, finding a new routine that works with your fatigue is important.
