Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.  See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

I began listening to a Christmas Carol (one of my favorite holiday reads), and Tiny Tim reminded me once again to see the good in everything. I hope you are all ready for the holiday. The Royals spent the night with us Friday. It was just the four of us. Mr. Caffeinated (Gee-Gee) and I had a wonderful, exhausting time with them. I will have them again on Monday while their Daddy works. We will be baking cookies together. It should be interesting!

I am unplugged for my annual holiday. May your holiday be merry and bright. Look for my top ten audio and reads this week.  Stay Caffeinated.

I’m still feasting on Christmas cookies over here. I hope you had a Merry Christmas, and I like your new pic! Not sure when you posted it, but I just noticed.

  2. Lorna

Sounds like you had fun with the children. And baking for Christmas. I’ve not baked or made anything this year. I will be doing a sort of Christmas breakfast and a turkey breast for dinner, but that’s the extent of it. I do miss the Christmas’s from when my parents were alive! I hope you have a wonderful holiday Kimberly!

  3. Nicole Pyles

I finally decided to join in this although my link acted weird and now I’m listed as The World of, but that’s okay 🙂 Have a nice holiday! I think I should do more for audio books, I see so many about them.

  4. MarthaE

Have fun baking. Cooking with little ones is always an adventure.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a good break with Happy Reading!

I hope you have a lovely relaxing time this holiday season, Kimberly. And I would also like to thank you for tirelessly hosting this wonderful meme throughout the year. Happy Christmas and a peaceful, successful 2019.

I love A Christmas Carol! It’s the perfect Christmas story (and movie.) I’ve got a recording somewhere, read by Jim Dale. I should have brought it with me so I could listen to it over the holidays. Enjoy your time baking cookies with the Royals, and have a lovely and joy-filled Christmas! (Oh, and thank you for the shout-out for The Backlist Reader Challenge!)

Ah yes, A Christmas Carol is a lovely reminder about the magic of Christmas. I watched the TV movie about Charles Dickens that turned out pretty good.

Enjoy your cookie making and Christmas with the family!

I hope you have a lovely holiday, Kimberly! (and to everyone!) I am looking forward to mine and to seeing my family.
I like the cover on the new Jennifer Estep book…ironic that they chose a more traditional fantasy-look for the cover. I don’t understand the jeans and t-shirt look on the previous cover in the series. *scratches head* (I maybe in the minority, here but it just looked odd to me.) Oh, well. I hope you enjoy it. I might add it to my tbr list, nonetheless.

Enjoy your break! Hope Santa is good to the royals (I am sure he will be)
Have a very Merry Christmas, My friend! I wish you nothing but the best of everything for the New Year! <3 oxox

A Happy Holiday to you and our family! We are not doing much on the decorating and I haven’t wrapped the gifts yet. I am doing some cooking. Books of My Heart will also have Top 10 of 2018 this week. I’ll look forward to seeing yours!

I have never read Christmas Carol! I should! Thank you for reminding me! Happy you had a wonderful (but exhausting! lol) time with the royals. That’s how a feel about my time with my kids 🙂 Merry Christmas Kim!

  13. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Glad to hear you had a good week! That’s always nice! Have fun with the Royals and all the cookie baking!

Yay for the new read too! I was approved for this one too and was shocked! Cannot wait to read it! Hope you have a great holiday this week and enjoy your “unplugged” time!

    Here’s my STS

Not really feeling the holiday spirit yet, but I am mostly ready. I only have some present to wrap. I just signed-up for your audiobook challenge and am looking forward to listen to more books in 2019. Have a great week and a fun Christmas!

  15. A Voracious Reader

We had the grandkids on Tuesday and little ones are exhausting. Trip and Anna had to take a nap after while Ralph and I were still going. That is completely backwards. LOL I hope you have a wondrous Christmas and a fantastic week, Kim!

  16. LORI CASWELL

Merry Christmas!! Enjoy your time off. I am slowing down a little this week too. Getting ready for my blogoversary on December 31 🙂
