Here we are at the last Sunday of the month again, and for many in the States, it was a super long weekend of endless food and family. Mr. Caffeinated and I went to see The Crimes of Grindelwald, Fantastic Beasts 2 and while I enjoyed it, I struggled with some plot holes and spell-breakers. While the movies have always tweaked things to fit their needs, I am curious how they will close these threads.
In other news, my Mother fell and broke her hip but they haven’t got all of her Doctor’s including her heart to clear her for surgery. I will be planning a trip to Florida soon.
I almost missed a book release for a favorite series. I need some kind of an alarm system, although usually I mark my calendar. I hope you hopped the Black Friday Book Bonanza. You’ve got until tomorrow evening to enter. We are snuggled in and watching the snow. Stay Caffeinated.

I am glad you were able to enjoy the movie and that you were able to enjoy the endless food 😀 I am so sorry to hear about your mother breaking her hip and also the health issues she is facing with getting cleared for surgery… hope that all works out.
I’ve been hearing good things about The Invisible Library #5 so I hope you like the sequel ^.^
Carla
So sorry to hear about your mom Kimberly. Hopefully she is doing better now. I am signing up for COYER, hopefully this afternoon.
Adriana @ BooksOnHerMind
Aw! Thank you for adding my challenge ?
I watched the Crimes of Grindelwald on Thanksgiving. The ending was a big surprise. I think mostly I wish I had more time with Credence, Tina, and Nagini.
Oh no! I hope the surgery goes well. My hip has been giving me a lot of pain. Hopefully insoles will fix the problem.
Lindsi
I’m sorry your mom is hurt! I recently went through something similar with my grandmother. She had a stroke and has been doing speech therapy to regain her speech. She’s also more forgetful now than she was, and the doctors think something in her brain was affected heavily by the stroke. Safe travels to Florida! Take your mom something to read!
I feel like I’m always missing the release dates for my favorite books!
Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear?

Pray that all goes well with your mom soon. Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on Lara Adrian’s new release. Hugs and happy Tuesday! RO

I’m so sorry to hear about your mom! I hope her recovery is quick and painless. I hear lots of people saying the same thing as you about the Fantastic Beasts movie. Lots of plot holes. I think I’m going to wait till it comes out on DVD to watch it.

Sorry to hear about your mother’s injury. It’s nice to visit Florida when it is cold up north but an injury/surgery isn’t welcome.
I want to see the Fantastic Beast movies – someday.
I can’t believe we are heading into the last month of the year. It sure has been a doozy!
Happy Reading!
Kay @ It's a Book Life
I am sorry to hear about your mom.
As for Fantastic Beasts 2, I had the same problems! I did enjoy it, but was also disappointed by the plot holes and inaccuracies.
Laura @ Library of Clean Reads
Oh, I feel so bad for your mom! I slipped and fell on the ice this past week and felt pretty banged up, but thank goodness nothing broken. I feel so bad for older ones who fall and get hurt.
I always seem to miss new releases of authors I follow. Just too much going on…
shooting
Oh no, I’m sorry about your mom. I hope she can get cleared for surgery soon and all goes well. I really liked the new Fantastic Beasts, but I definitely am curious to see how they bring things together as the movies go on.

I wish that I could be lazy today but we are volunteering this morning and then my younger daughter has gymnastics. Then housecleaning when I get home. Hopefully, I get a bit of down time. I’d like to watch the Grey Cup even though our team isn’t in it.
I hope your mom is okay and that she will recover quickly. I still have the first book in Adrian’s Midnight Breed Hunter Legacy series to listen to. Have a good week!

Oh No! Your poor mom! I hope they can fix her up soon.
I have heard such crazy reviews for Fantastic Beasts 2. I haven’t seen the first one yet *hides* I guess without it being actually written it’s harder to keep the world straight…maybe. I plan to watch them the first one soon. I am craving a serious HP Binge.
Even with our crazy snow two weeks ago, I am still jealous of your snow! 😉
Have a great week, Kim! Happy Reading! ox
Sam@wlabb
Oh, no, your poor mom! I hope they are able to clear her soon, and get her on the mend. I would be crying if it were snowing here. Thank goodness the temperature rose, because it rained like a beast overnight. If that had been snow, it would have been quite deep.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Sorry to hear about your mum, fingers crossed she gets the sign off she needs for surgery and makes a speedy recovery,
I really enjoyed The Crimes of Grindelwald. I LOVED it compared to Fantastic Beasts 1. Your right about the plot holes but I’m hoping that as the story unfolds in future films these are closed.
Irena BookDustMagic
I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I hope she will be okay, I know it’s not easy, especially when you’re older. I hope she has someone to take care of her in Florida.
I’d also like to watch Fantastic Beasts 2, since I heard Ezra Miller is back in the movie, I really want to watch it in the theatre.
The only problem is time, but I hope I’ll manage something, at least I know that movie will probably be in theaters for a long, long time.
