It’s hard to believe we are in October and that Fraterfest begins this week! It’s not too late to sign up!  For the month of September I read/listened to 26 books. (Don’t even ask me how!?!) I am currently at 210 of 250 for the year on Goodreads. I have started utilizing my library once again. They finally updated to the Libby App and I’ve discovered how to send books directly to my Oasis. Be sure to enter my birthday giveaway to win a copy of Kill the Queen.  Stay Caffeinated!

Happy Sunday on Monday, Kim 😉 Wow, I’m so impressed with your reading speed! Prolific. I’m reading a mystery now so it’s perfect for fall weather. Will be checking out the books your reviewing this week.

I’m not even sure where 2018 went! It feels like just a month ago I was hosting a Tupperware party and getting ready for a cruise. That was in February/March! Lol!

Congrats on those 26 books lady! You must have been a reading machine!!! Now that life is settling down a bit, I’m really looking forward to getting back into the blogging community. So very happy to be able to stop by today! 🙂

Isn’t that the truth and sadly the older you get the quicker the years fly. Glad you are getting back into the swing of things.

  7. Lily B

wow 26 books 😀 thats awesome. I think I need to read that much in a month at this point to catch up, the last few months have been blah here 🙁

    • Kimberly

Ugh, I hate when the blahs take over. If you makes you feel better, I am ahead only because i spend a lot of time too ill to get out of bed.

  8. Lindsi

I wish I had stumbled across Fraterfest a little sooner! Hopefully you’ll do it again next year, but I’m definitely participating in the HoHoHo Readathon! I’ve set about 20 books aside for the event (not that I’ll get to them all), so I’ll have options.

Thank you for all of the fun you contribute to the blogging community! Your events bring people together, and they’re so easy to participate in. You’re a beautiful person!

Yes, the Fraterfest is back. I have such fun hosting these thons and hope to do 2 more in Winter and Spring.

You used to be able to buy a single title to gift. The they took that away and only offered 3, 6 and 12 month membership gift giving. So it may it very hard to give an audiobook as a gift or prize. So now I can at least say here is one credit good for 2 free Audible originals and one title of your choice.

  9. Sophia Rose

Definitely a good reading total and well on track for your GoodReads goal. Looking forward to Fraterfest this week. You’ve got a few I’m curious about in your haul- Changeling and Best of Us.

Good luck on the RAT! 🙂

  10. Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard

26 books in a month! Wow! I haven’t been reading nearly enough in the last few weeks. Well, September was a pretty busy month with a lot of family visiting, so less reading time, I guess.

I’m looking forward to HoHoHo RAT. And I, too, have a black belt in Extreme Reading LOL!

I used to live there and then when I got really sick my husband would go for me.. So I am glad to be utilizing them again.

    • Kimberly

26 was for the month Billy. But yeah I read 2-4 books a week on average. You might say I am a bit of an addict..

  11. Anne

Hmm my libraries have Libby but I love Overdrive. so I don’t use it. 26 books!! That’s phenomenal. Have more good reading this week! Anne – Books of My Heart

  12. Mary @StackingMyBookShelves!

I love the meme. I am a white belt still. Unless I don’t have school then maybe I am a brown belt. I haven’t reached black belt in the least. Have a wonderful week. I am going to try to get to some more posts this week. I know I am missing so many!

I keep forgetting it’s October because it’s STILL in the upper 80s here. I’m so sick of the hot weather. I just want some mild temps. Is it too much to ask? *faints dramatically*

I hope you have a fantastic week, Kim!

  14. Vicky

ahhh omg thanks so much for linking up my post! and ooh, Fraterfest sounds really spooky and interesting–i’ll have to check it out!!

  15. Darlene

Woo hoo, that’s awesome Kimberly! You are totally crushing it 🙂 My reading goal for 2018 was to break 100, and I reached that in September so I”m super stoked about that!

That cover for Deadmarsh Fey looks super creepy!

Go you! That is awesome Darlene. I usually hit it and go over. It isn’t really a challenge more a way to keep me on track.

  17. Jessica @ a GREAT read

you are definitely a master in extreme reading! My library has its own app, which I do not like. But it is convenient I can scan barcode and the library will look for it in the system.

  19. Jolene Wilson

I have seemed to slow down on reading but hopefully, I sill still make my goal. Great job on all your reading. Fraterfest looks fun. I look forward to hearing about all the scary books you read.

  20. Tânia @MyLovelySecret

Twenty-six books?! That’s a great reading month! How do you do that?! Some Faustian deal?! =P I wish I could read so much (it would be helpful for my master thesis).

    Wishes of a great week.

  21. Lynn

Wow, fantastic reading month! Due to a massive reading slump, I only read two books in September, but I hope to read more this month!

    Have a wonderful week!

  22. Lola

Sounds like September was a good reading/ listening month. 26 books in a month is great. I like the sound of Kill the Queen so I’ll have to check out your giveaway.

Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

    • Kimberly

Yes. I think it was the final month of the KU deal that pushed my numbers. I did the 3 month Prime deal for 99 cents.

  23. Rachel

As everyone else said, 26 books is pretty amazing. That’s unfortunately close to my total for the whole year (I’ve had a busy year in RL). Good job!

  24. Sam@wlabb

26 books is awesome! We got a new library app, libby, which I like so much more than Overdrive. I always take my audiobooks out via the eLibrary or Hoopla, and am starting to check out some books too, now that my review books are slowing down. Have fun during Fraterfest!

Pre-blogging I used the library all the time, and for a while got both physical books and ebooks delivered to my Nook, but it was wonky and I stopped. I hated Overdrive, but this new Libby App works wonderfully.

  25. Michelle Gilmore

That was a great reading month for you! I’m excited to start Fraterfest, though I’m having to sort out a hiccup with my TBR. I should get it sorted soon though. I hope you have a great week!

    • Kimberly

i am looking forward to it as well. I’m being optimistic and hope to read a book a day. Probably won’t happen but I will give it my all.

    • Kimberly

I count them up at the end of each month. It is always the month’s I think I did just ok, that I am surprised by the number.

  26. Greg

Wow good reading month! And yay for FraterFest! I haven’t done a readaton in ages.

Hope you’re having a nice weekend Kimba!
