I always ignore the Libby app option. How does it work?
Kimberly
I think its nicer and it sends ebooks right to my Kindle Oasis.
Melanie Simmons
It has been hot here, but finally cooled off yesterday. I slept with windows opened last night and it was a little chilly getting up this morning. Finally. I’ve been so ready for Fall. I hope you’re having a great week.
Kimberly
We are chilly and dang it, I need a boat. It has been damp, overcast and rainy all week The sun came out the other afternoon and I felt like a vampire shrieking in shock!
Melanie Simmons
You really made me laugh out loud with that vamp comment. 😀
Kimberly
Hehe.
RO
Oh my goodness! Great minds think alike. I just talked about Libby on my blog post, an had no idea you used that cool app! I’d like to think that most of us have our black belt.(lol) Hugs…RO
Kimberly

Andreea

Kimberly
I devoured Changeling. It was a lot of fun!

Happy Sunday on Monday, Kim 😉 Wow, I’m so impressed with your reading speed! Prolific. I’m reading a mystery now so it’s perfect for fall weather. Will be checking out the books your reviewing this week.
Kimberly
Mysteries are great this time of year Lisa.
ERK ?
OMG! How did you manage 26 books!! I struggle ro read even 2 ?
And I am proud to excel in some sport, I am a black belt too ?
Kimberly

Nise'
Great audio month! That is almost a book a day.
Kimberly
It was a combo of books and audio. I think books won, but my audios were over 17 hours in length.
Stephanie @ Once Upon a Chapter
I’m not even sure where 2018 went! It feels like just a month ago I was hosting a Tupperware party and getting ready for a cruise. That was in February/March! Lol!
Congrats on those 26 books lady! You must have been a reading machine!!! Now that life is settling down a bit, I’m really looking forward to getting back into the blogging community. So very happy to be able to stop by today! 🙂
Kimberly
Isn’t that the truth and sadly the older you get the quicker the years fly. Glad you are getting back into the swing of things.
Lily B
wow 26 books 😀 thats awesome. I think I need to read that much in a month at this point to catch up, the last few months have been blah here 🙁
Kimberly
Ugh, I hate when the blahs take over. If you makes you feel better, I am ahead only because i spend a lot of time too ill to get out of bed.
Tizzy
26 books in a month is amazing, well done! That definitely is extreme reading.
Kimberly
Typically I am more between 15 and 20, so yes this was a good month
Lindsi
I wish I had stumbled across Fraterfest a little sooner! Hopefully you’ll do it again next year, but I’m definitely participating in the HoHoHo Readathon! I’ve set about 20 books aside for the event (not that I’ll get to them all), so I’ll have options.
Thank you for all of the fun you contribute to the blogging community! Your events bring people together, and they’re so easy to participate in. You’re a beautiful person!
Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear?
Kimberly
Yes, the Fraterfest is back. I have such fun hosting these thons and hope to do 2 more in Winter and Spring.
Casey
Hi! I just found the Sunday Post meme today. It was really fun to do! Thanks for hosting
Kimberly
That is awesome Casey. I cannot wait to get to know you better 🙂
ShootingStarsMag
I can’t believe FraterFest starts this Thursday, but I’m ready for more spooky reads!
-Lauren
Kimberly
I know right. I am excited!
S. J. Pajonas
Wow! Great job on all those listens for the months. I’ve been stuck on one audiobook for weeks. I need to ignore my podcasts and just get back to listening to it!
Kimberly
LOL, mine were mostly books, but I did listen to quite a few. One was over 16 hours though.
Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Hope you had a fantastic birthday!!
I still only see the option for one credit per month gift subscriptions at the link you gave us, Am I missing something?
Kimberly
You used to be able to buy a single title to gift. The they took that away and only offered 3, 6 and 12 month membership gift giving. So it may it very hard to give an audiobook as a gift or prize. So now I can at least say here is one credit good for 2 free Audible originals and one title of your choice.
Mary Kirkland
I’m only at 66 books read this year so far but I am keeping track to post it at the end of the year.
Kimberly
That is quite fair amount of reads Mary. Yes, I like to keep track.
Jan @ Notes from a Readerholic
I’m always in awe of your reading prowess, Kimberly! Good for you! Your new books look good. I want to find out more about them!
I hope you have a wonderful week!
Kimberly
Ha, I am a simple book addict.
SJ
This year seems to be flying by. Going to sign up for Fraterfest now.
Kimberly
Sweet! Excited to see that you are joining!
Sophia Rose
Definitely a good reading total and well on track for your GoodReads goal. Looking forward to Fraterfest this week. You’ve got a few I’m curious about in your haul- Changeling and Best of Us.
Good luck on the RAT! 🙂
Kimberly
I am hoping both rock!
vvb
Changeling is looking good. Have fun with Fraterfest 🙂
Kimberly
It does look good.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
26 books in a month! Wow! I haven’t been reading nearly enough in the last few weeks. Well, September was a pretty busy month with a lot of family visiting, so less reading time, I guess.
I’m looking forward to HoHoHo RAT. And I, too, have a black belt in Extreme Reading LOL!
Kimberly
You’ve had a crazy busy year Lark.
Erin @ Cracker Crumb Life
Kill the Queen!!! I forgot to write that title down and yesterday I was trying to think of it and just couldn’t! Lol. Popping over to that post now! 🙂
Kimberly
It was so good!
Sumedha
Haha that meme is so true!
Kimberly
It made me giggle.
Samantha
Wow! 26 books in a month! Thats awesome. And yay for the library! Its the best!
Kimberly
I used to live there and then when I got really sick my husband would go for me.. So I am glad to be utilizing them again.
Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer
That’s a lot reading for one week.
Kimberly
26 was for the month Billy. But yeah I read 2-4 books a week on average. You might say I am a bit of an addict..
Anne
Hmm my libraries have Libby but I love Overdrive. so I don’t use it. 26 books!! That’s phenomenal. Have more good reading this week! Anne – Books of My Heart
Kimberly
Isn’t that funny. I hate OverDrive and stopped because of it. LOL
Mary @StackingMyBookShelves!
I love the meme. I am a white belt still. Unless I don’t have school then maybe I am a brown belt. I haven’t reached black belt in the least. Have a wonderful week. I am going to try to get to some more posts this week. I know I am missing so many!
Mary
Kimberly
Oh sweetie, just stopping in when you can is enough. I know how crazy life can get.
A Voracious Reader
I keep forgetting it’s October because it’s STILL in the upper 80s here. I’m so sick of the hot weather. I just want some mild temps. Is it too much to ask? *faints dramatically*
I hope you have a fantastic week, Kim!
Kimberly
We had one day of 95 and then cold and rainy the rest. We all have head colds.
Vicky
ahhh omg thanks so much for linking up my post! and ooh, Fraterfest sounds really spooky and interesting–i’ll have to check it out!!
Kimberly
Happy to share Vicky!
Yvonne
You had a great reading month. You’re also doing great with your Goodreads challenge. Hope you have a great week!
Kimberly
Thanks Yvonne. I hope yours is wonderful too!
Lillian @ Mom with a Reading Problem
That is awesome that you read so many books in September! I managed 4 *facepalm* It was a busy month. I’m hoping to read more this month. But it isn’t looking good….. Hope you have a great week!
Kimberly
4 is good. When I was younger it was harder.
Nick
You are slaying your reading goals, Kim! That’s awesome that you’re back to using your library. I love all the new facilities with apps such as Overdrive and Hoopla.
Kimberly
I hated OverDrive, so Libby got me using them again. I need to see if they have Hoopla.
Darlene
Woo hoo, that’s awesome Kimberly! You are totally crushing it 🙂 My reading goal for 2018 was to break 100, and I reached that in September so I”m super stoked about that!
That cover for Deadmarsh Fey looks super creepy!
Kimberly
Go you! That is awesome Darlene. I usually hit it and go over. It isn’t really a challenge more a way to keep me on track.
Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra
Wow, 26 books in a month is so impressive! At that pace, you’ll easily crush your Goodreads goal. 🙂
Kimberly
Let’s hope so Suzanne!
Tonyalee
Wow that’s an awesome reading month! I love that audible brought that back too! Have a great week 🙂
Kimberly
Right. It pissed me off. I started giving away Audiobook.com credits.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
We’re ever so slowly get into some fall weather! We’ve about a half week of heat and then it will drop…just as I am about to go out of town! Typical! Lol!
Those are new to me ones! And whoa! Deadmarsh Fey looks creepy with that cover! Hope you enjoy your new reads!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
Kimberly
We go back and forth like the winds. Hot, cold, freezing, lol I am excited about Deadmarsh Fey!
Michelle @Because Reading
You did awesome this month! I have to try Libby but my library stinks when it comes to book. I have been considering going to the next town over if they allow that.
I hope you have a fantastic week, Kim! Happy Reading! ox
Kimberly
Ours lends with others in the state so it tends to have more.
sherry fundin
Time is going way too fast. Doesn’t it seem, the older you get the faster it goes? Congrats on the reading. Sounds like you will surpass your goal.
Kimberly
Yes, you are correct.
Ailyn Koay
you are definitely a master in extreme reading! My library has its own app, which I do not like. But it is convenient I can scan barcode and the library will look for it in the system.
Kimberly
That doesn’t sound cost efficient. Doe it work well to read and borrow on?
Ailyn Koay
you can’t read from it, I have to use Overdrive for audiobooks or ebooks. But borrowing is convenient yes
Kimberly
Ah. I am not a fan of Overdrive but love using Libby.
Ailyn Koay
i should try Libby, maybe my library is on it too. overdrive is not really friendly i think
Sim @ Flipping Through the Pages
Wow, 26 books? That’s something incredible. I did read some books but a way less than I expected. The week went by quite fast 😀
Kimberly
Some weeks I only manage one or two then other weeks I read one a day.
Jolene Wilson
I have seemed to slow down on reading but hopefully, I sill still make my goal. Great job on all your reading. Fraterfest looks fun. I look forward to hearing about all the scary books you read.
Kimberly
I am sure you will. I have been ahead by 15 books more or less since I got sick over the summer.
Tânia @MyLovelySecret
Twenty-six books?! That’s a great reading month! How do you do that?! Some Faustian deal?! =P I wish I could read so much (it would be helpful for my master thesis).
Wishes of a great week.
Kimberly
Little TV, little sleep, etc.
Lynn
Wow, fantastic reading month! Due to a massive reading slump, I only read two books in September, but I hope to read more this month!
Have a wonderful week!
Kimberly
I haven’t had one of those since I began DNFing. Although it is still rare that I do it.
Lola
Sounds like September was a good reading/ listening month. 26 books in a month is great. I like the sound of Kill the Queen so I’ll have to check out your giveaway.
Enjoy your new books and have a great week!
Kimberly
One of my favorites this year Lola!
Deb Nance at Readerbuzz
You are having a great reading year. Last month was especially great! That’s almost a book a day.
Kimberly
Yes. I think it was the final month of the KU deal that pushed my numbers. I did the 3 month Prime deal for 99 cents.
Angela Adams
Looks like another good week of book reviews is on the horizon!
Kimberly
I’ve got a nice mix coming up this month.
Rachel
As everyone else said, 26 books is pretty amazing. That’s unfortunately close to my total for the whole year (I’ve had a busy year in RL). Good job!
Kimberly
I had many a year where I was lucky to see 26 for a yearly total and a few had less than a dozen.
Sam@wlabb
26 books is awesome! We got a new library app, libby, which I like so much more than Overdrive. I always take my audiobooks out via the eLibrary or Hoopla, and am starting to check out some books too, now that my review books are slowing down. Have fun during Fraterfest!
Kimberly
Yes. I hated OverDrive and love the Libby App. Not sure if we have Hoopla.
Maureen Bakker
Crazy that it’s October already right?! I’m wondering where summer went?
210 books this year so far? Wow.. I’ll be happy to get to 50 this year. LOL!
Have a great week and happy reaidng!
Kimberly
You had a busy year!
Stephanie Jane (Literary Flits)
26 is amazing reading! Go you!
I want to look into library ebooks, but it’s tricky to set up while travelling around and I am not even sure if UK libraries are that 21st century yet?
Kimberly
Pre-blogging I used the library all the time, and for a while got both physical books and ebooks delivered to my Nook, but it was wonky and I stopped. I hated Overdrive, but this new Libby App works wonderfully.
Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books
26 books?! You’re a reading/listening ninja!
Have a great week!
Kimberly
*grins* Book Ninja.
Sophie
Bwahahaha I love your GIF Kim and thanks for the links. Seems that you had a good reading week!
