I have a summer cold, which feels like bronchitis and it is making me miserable. I probably did too much on vacation. Between the constant coughing and head pain I just want to lay in a darken room.   Stay Caffeinated!

I got the first Mercy Kaptrick book by Kendra Elliot through the Prime library and loved it.  I decided I would read the series. The rest of the books are 4.99 a pop and I figured I would get one a month,  but then I got a notice for a Prime Day, Kindle unlimited deal.  You get three months for 99 cents. Hallie Edwards backlist is also in KU and I jumped at the deal.  So, prepare as I will be devouring and reviewing a lot of KU books for the next few months. Here is the deal for Prime members: Prime Day – Kindle Unlimited $3 bounty

I hope you are feeling better by now. I myself am trying to kick away the last of my small cough. Only yesterday I started feeling human after passing out after a Costco run but I had some trouble sleeping last night and coughed a bit. Made myself still workout so my eyes are droopy right now.

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon – and it’s nothing too serious. It feels like a travesty to be sick in the summer, doesn’t it?

Sorry about your cold – I hate that. You have some great reads and what a deal on Kindle Unlimited. You’ll be surprised how much you’ll find. I may reup with the deal if it will let me. Anne – Books of My Heart

Dang Kimba, I’m so sorry to hear you’re not well. I really hope you don’t have another lung thing going on. Sending you good vibes.

Thank you for featuring my How To with MailChimp… ^_^ I like your book haul. I hope you enjoy and that KU deal is nice. Bummer on the summer cold. I hope it goes away quickly and don’t stick around long.

Oh no!1 I hope you feel better soon! I don’t get sick in the summer but I almost always do in the Winter. I love the sloth haha

So sorry to hear you have got a cold – it’s far worse in the heat, I think. Hopefully you will start to recover very soon – I’m guessing you contracted it on the plane… In the meantime, have a better week!

Yep, you’ve been cursed. Summer colds are just wrong.
Oh, lovely, about the KU deal. I got Cowboy Cross My Heart, too.

    Feel better, lady!

  9. Mary @StackingMyBookShelves!

I think I want (just for myself) The Doll Hospital just cause it’s so darn cute! Sorry, you aren’t feeling well. Get better! I have to get to your reviews this week. I am a bit behind with my family staying here.

  10. Melissa (My World...in words and pages)

Oh no. I hope you feel better soon! Do take care and try to relax.

Ugh, sorry to hear that you are sick! You should try Oil of Oregano. It tastes pretty strong, but you only need three drops at a time and it has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. Give it a try!

The KU offer sounds amazing. I checked but I can’t get it since I’m in Canada 🙁

I’m sorry you are sick. This summer cold is the worst. I’m finishing up week two, and my cough still isn’t getting better. Hang in there!

  13. Lola

I am sorry to hear you caught a summer cold :(. I hope it goes away soon. That’s nice you got a god deal on the Kindle Unlimited program. Have a great week!

Ugh, what a way to end your time away… with a miserable cold. Fingers crossed that it’s not bronchitis. It always takes me ages to fully bounce back from that. Love your random… I’m feeling that today. 🙂

  15. Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books

Sucks about the cold, but at least you can lie in the dark and listen to audiobooks! 🙂 Hope you feel better soon.
I love having my KU but I don’t take full advantage of it… That’ll probably change in the next few months when house buying slaughters my disposable income! lol

Why is that picture totally me XD
My mom saw a meme on Facebook saying “my plans for the weekend” which shows a babe seal sleeping. This morning she told me she’s going to sleep allll dayyy. Haha she can be really cute sometimes.
    Have a good week!

I caught a summer cold and developed pneumonia. Just finished my last antibiotic dose today and feel worlds better (though still fatigued). Hopefully yours is better soon.

I’m so sorry about your cold! Those are the worst during the summer!! The Binding and Cowboy, Cross My Heart look like books I’d enjoy. I hope you enjoy them all! I joined Kindle Unlimited with a promo in May, but need to use it more. I need to see when my trial is over too so I can decide if I want to pay for it or not. We’ll see.
