When you think about how easy it is to lose keys, phones, sunglasses and your dignity on social media, you might figure it'd be a cinch for me to ditch my V Card.

You'd be wrong.

At 25, I run a successful business, live in a fantastic apartment, and have fabulous friends to go out with any night of the week. And yet I'm still a card-carrying member of a club I don't want to belong to anymore. Good thing I know just the man for the deflowering job—my brother’s business partner and best friend.

Graham Campbell is charming, smart, and, I’m told, oh-so-skilled in the sack. As long as I keep my eyes on the prize, there’s no way this pluck-the-flower project could possibly complicate matters.

Work and pleasure. As the CEO of a fast-growing company, I've been enjoying both to the fullest. What do I do when the board throws me for an unexpected loop so I can keep my business in my hands? I enlist the help of my best friend's little sister since she holds a big stake in the company. But then I learn there's another big stake she wants.

The one between my legs.

I can do this. Seven nights to teach her everything I know in the bedroom. There's no way I'll fall for her, even though she’s earning top grades in every single sinfully sexy lesson. And turns out I’m learning something too. The trouble is I don’t have the answer key to what to do when I fall hard for her.
And that throws a whole new hitch in my plans.

Fave Narrator RomCom hot friends

Lauren Blakely teamed up with author Lili Valente to deliver a swoon-worthy “friends to lovers” romance that will make you smile. Narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, The V Card was sexy, hot and adorkable with Blakley’s flair for humor in this delightfully sexy dual povs RomCom.

This was my last audiobook of 2017 and what a fun listen. CJ, a young successful entrepreneur, and sister to Graham Campbell’s deceased best friend and business partner decides at the age of twenty-five that it’s time to lose her V card. She enlists the help of Graham to teach her the fine art of sex. Rumor has it he is an excellent teacher.

I loved this “friends to lovers” romance. The two share a friendship and mutual respect for each other, and it was fun seeing Graham move CJ from the best friend’s sister slot to potential lover. As the lessons begin we go from pantie melting lessons too leisurely, fun conversations that highlighted their chemistry. The plan is seven days of lessons, but we all know how these arrangements go.

Low on drama and high on sizzling sexy times, conversation and relationship development, I quickly became vested in this couple. It was easy to understand how CJ held on to her V-card for so long and I enjoyed seeing this develop into something more. The authors did a delightful job of sharing the characters history, personal hangups, and growth. While the story is guaranteed to melt your earbuds, it was balanced with adorkable moments and the male perspective that I have come to enjoy in Blakley’s stories.

I haven’t read anything from Lili Valente but felt the story was strong and they partnered well together.

Sebastian York and Andi Arndt brought our characters povs to life and made listening to The V Card,  a wonderful escape from reality. It was fun seeing these author’s pair up, but in all honesty, the story didn’t feel much different from Blakely’s collection of RomCom romances.

These are two narrators that have been on my TBR for a while. I’m glad this turn out good for you. Always good to end the year on a high note. 🙂

OMGoodness, what a book summary. Guy talk I guess?
If you can stand blood and guts, Yellowrock is your girl. I really liked the witch one. Sometimes a book summary kind of turns me off rather than intrigue me and then the book itself is better than its summary.

I like the voice of the characters from the summary itself. I haven’t heard of the authors but I am going to grab a copy of the book today! Very interesting.

This sounds like a fun book! It has been a little while since I last read one of Lauren Blakely’s books and I have never read Lili Valente’s work. I love the narrating pair of Andi Arndt and Sebastian York so the audio would be the way to go with this one for me.

Honestly I was not interested because of the title and what that implies, but reading your review has changed my mind. It sounds like it is done well and sounds like a fun read. Brilly review.
