Somehow we are ready for Christmas. Baking was done, gifts were wrapped and today my husband and I are just going to enjoy each others company. We saw ice, snow, and plummeting temperatures as we welcomed winter. The high tomorrow 23 with a chance of snow. Brrr!! Tomorrow the family comes for surf and turf. My poor hubby will face the cold and grill while I make homemade sides, crab claws, and shrimp. Usually, after Christmas dinner, we watch the Doctor Who Christmas special, but the EAGLES are on! Eep! Such conflict. From my house to yours have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Stay Caffeinated!

Surf and turf sounds fun though I don’t envy your husband for having to brave that cold to grill! I’m Doctor Who Christmas special all the way though my husband doesn’t agree so there’s a bit of conflict here too! I’ve been rewatching some of my favorite Christmas specials today. While the 11th Doctor wasn’t my favorite he seems to feature in all my favorite Christmas specials – A Christmas Carol, the one based on Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, and the Snowmen. Looking forward to your lists this week and have the merry Christmas!

The funny thing about our Christmas here was this 😀
Day before Christmas Eve: HEAVY SNOWFALL, beautiful and wintry. Need an umbrella when you’re doing the Christmas dinner shopping.
Christmas Eve: rain. Snow is melting.
Christmas (I’m prognosticating here): I bet here will be no snow left here xD
Hope you guys have a lovely Christmas!

Surf and turf sounds like a great idea! We are doing a roast for XMas. My Miguel hates ham and turkey so I compromised this year. I think we might do cheesecake as a dessert since we are making so many changes.
I haven’t baked a thing this year. Hopefully tomorrow I will get some done. Maybe.
    Merry Christmas Kimberly!

    Merry Christmas, Kim!
Hope your husband doesn’t freeze at the grill. 🙂 No concern about that happening here since it’s going to be almost 80 today. Ha! Should be cooler tomorrow though.
Hope you thoroughly enjoy every minute with your family.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays! Best tradition is to watch the Doctor Who Christmas Special! You are really great if all your cookies are done – I plan to bake mine today, but we usually have the big Christmas lunch/dinner on 25th and 24th is more chill.

Sounds chilly! I love the cold myself! Lol!! Starting at 7pm tonight I’m always watching the 24 hours of A Christmas Story marathon! It’s been on ever since I can remember as a kid! So naturally I have it on the TV all day long starting tonight! Lol!!! Oddly, I still don’t think I ever sit down long enough to catch the movie in one go! I’m always catching parts of it!

Nice new reads! They are totally new to me ones but I hope you will enjoy them all!

You might need a hot chocolate runner with the husband out grilling in that weather! What a family effort! I hope you enjoy the holidays with your family. Merry Christmas!

I am just barely done and ready for Christmas because I saved my wrapping until yesterday. Since I am away from all my family this year, I will be spending tonight at my friends parents house for their celebration. Chinese food! With steak for Christmas dinner. I hope you have a safe, relaxing Christmas with all your loved ones. Merry Christmas!
