Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

My new Oasis arrived and I love it. And yes, I got a bubble bath with it. The HoHoHoRAT begins Wednesday and I am looking forward to “feel good” holiday romances and a horror book with a winter setting on audio. This was a crap week that began last Sunday and one that has left me emotionally drained. I won’t go into details, but it has kept me from the blog and has me avoiding social media -for that, I apologize. I am unplugging for mental health but love you all. Enjoy your Sunday. As always Stay Caffeinated!

Oh, I hope this new week is better for you! I’m glad you love your new Oasis. It must have lots of bells and whistles…I am going to check it out for that time in the future when I will need a new Kindle.

I hope you get the downtime you need! Mental health days are so important these days. It can be easy to get bogged down with everything. I hope this week is better for you1

YAY for your new Oasis!! I’m loving mine and can’t imagine my life without a kindle. I hope this week will be so much better than last, unplugging sounds like a great idea, best way to avoid trolls and everything else that comes with social media.

Looking through your reviews made me realize that I haven’t touched a book by Catherine Anderson in years, and I loved her dearly. I also wanted to pick up Chasing Christmas Eve, just last week I read my first holiday novel this year, and would love to read a few more.

Have a great week and happy reading!!!

Oh wow! The Oasis looked amazing. I have JUST purchased a Kindle (on it’s way to me) and had I not also JUST upgraded my Kobo to the similar edition (Aura H2O) I would have also gone with the Oasis! As it was I chose the Paperwhite and I’m still excited.

I’m very sorry about your week and I hope that you feel better soon. Sometimes unplugging is just what is required and I hope it does the trick!

I’m sorry you are having a tough week, Kimberly. I hope things are better for you in the future. I did want to thank you, again, for helping me to get involved with Random House Audio. I have gotten to listen to, and review, so many wonderful books, and you are the reason why. Your kindness towards me really changed the way I read and review books. Thank you so very much!

Yay for the Oasis! I hope it is wonderful 🙂 I also hope you have a better week this week than last.

I am very much looking forward to HoHoHoRAT!

I am sorry about your difficult week, Kim. I hope this next one is better for you. I am looking forward to overdosing on holiday themed books this month. I haven’t had a chance to read much this weekend with my mom’s visit, but hopefully that will change once she returns home.

Your new books all look good! Grandma’s Purse looks really cute. 🙂 I hope you have a much better week! Take care, Kim.

Glad your enjoying the Kindle! I was just reading a review that called it the Cadillac of ereaders. Love your random today. I hope your Sunday is doing just that for you: refueling your soul.

Yay for a bubble bath with the Oasis. Thats exactly what I would do with it. Its only 50 degrees here now, but later this week it will be cold enough for the white stuff. Lets hope not, its too soon.
    Have a great week!

You know, I haven’t even looked at the Oasis. I a 1st gen Fire and a Paperwhite that’s about 4 years old, so I really shouldn’t be looking at more tech. Must.Resist…oh, who am I kidding? I’m totally heading to Amazon right now. lol

Take care of yourself and I hope this week is very far from craptastic.

So sorry that this was a bad week for you. I think we all need to unplugging once in awhile for our mental health. Praying this upcoming week is a better one for you!

PS – I am in LOVE with my Oasis! I think I have read more these past few weeks than the last couple of months! 🙂

I am sending positive vibes and hoping that whatever has been happening, things improve soon <3 I ended pulling the plug on social media Friday and still not fully ready to reengage. But my problem is the constant complaining and negativity in my feed and groups. I finally gave up and left a few. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

I hope you feel better! But I definitely can relate. I tend to withdraw from everything and get centered, and give myself a little break from Social Media (Facebook mainly). I can’t wait until HoHoHoRAT! I have all my books ready!! Have a great week and with trials bring triumph!!

Sorry to hear it’s been a grim week and I hope you soon feel better. In the meantime, my thoughts are with you and I hope the start of HoHoHoRAT! and some Me time will ease things somewhat – whatever the cause. Take carex

Look forward to getting your thoughts on your new Oasis. Yeah, those abso-necessary unplug weeks…. had a few. Wishing you well.
I’ve got my stack of HoHo books ready to start. I just read one for review and it was Winter and Christmas but I didn’t think about it when I set up my reading schedule. LOL Curses! Could have had one more. Oh well.

    Have a better week, Kimberly!

  25. MarthaE

I hope this week is much better for you. Sometimes we need to take a step back.
Looks like you have had good reading and good ones coming up.. I see you have book 4 of the Red Rising Series. I have to get to book 2 soon. I think I will check out the Hatching Series.
Does the Oasis read to you? I haven’t moved from the generation 2 Kindle because it reads text to me which I love. I know not all the Kindles read.
Happy reading this week. I’m looking forward to HoHoHo Readathon.

  26. Tyler H. Jolley

Sorry you had a bad week, Kimba. Last week truly did have bad ju-ju. I’m thankful for a new season and new opportunities. Happy reading and congrats on your bubble Oasis!
