Where has the month gone? Eep! The HoHoHo Readathon begins in eleven days and I am excited. I am looking for one more host for the HoHoHoRAT. Please contact me if you’d like to be a challenge host.

The big news this week- the youngest Royal, Prince Clayton is walking. He waiting and for a while now he has been teetering between furniture pieces and pushing everything creating makeshift walkers. Well, this week he simply decided to walk. Look out world, here comes trouble. We had the Royals for a sleepover Friday night, then did home projects on Saturday. Three of my authors had book releases this week and others sales, so I am a wiped out. I see a nice nap and reading by the fire this afternoon. Yes, I said fire. It is freezing here and the poor trick-or-treaters are looking at mid to low thirties on Halloween. Reports say we had snow flurries on Friday, but I cannot confirm it. If you visited me this week and didn’t see a return visit from me, please check your spam. I changed from kimbacaffeinate to Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer causing my comments to go to spam. So let me outta there! Be sure and sign up for the Black Friday Hop and HoHoHo Readathon. As always Stay Caffeinated!

It is not cool enough here to even think of a fire right now, but I can feel for you with the chilly nights, just knowing ours is coming. Of course, it never gets very cold here.

    Enjoy that little toddler prince!

I was wondering the same thing! Where did this month go? Crazy really. I’m looking forward to the HoHoHo Read-A-Thon.
How awesome that Prince Clayton has started to walk. There’s definitely some trouble ahead. 😉
    Freezing already? Poor trick-or-treaters.
Have a great week and happy reading!

  3. Bookish

Rolling in the deep is giving me some serious Adele vibes. I might actually just read it for that reason!

  4. Lexxie

Uh oh… toddlers walking means a whole new level of stuff to be careful about, yeah? It is fun to see the progress they make in those early stages, though.
I have some bloggers that always end up either in spam or pending, and even after I’ve liberated them more than once, their comments keep going there.
Have a nice nap by the fire this afternoon 😉
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  5. Michelle Gilmore

The temp is dropping here as well, we don’t really do fires though we just crank the heat up. The year is really flying by now that we are in the last few months, and I’m ready for spring already.

I actually laughed out loud at that random quote. So me! I need to hang that up at work. We’re getting a cool down too. Breezy and low 60s during the day but feels colder and down right cold at night in high 30s to low 40s. Okay, I’m ready for summer now. Sounds lie it’s time for the next stage of child proofing. And I wondered why a comment of yours went to spam. Took care of it. Enjoy your relaxing time by the fire. Sounds perfect for napping:)

  7. Wattle

Your comments have safely landed at my blog 🙂 it’s so weird how some end up in spam and some don’t (I have a couple of people that always end up in my spam queue 🙁 )

Have fun playing chase the toddler from now on haha they are quick once they get going!

I hope you have a great week ahead 🙂

Walking?!!! I remember those days. That will be some added adventuring for you. 🙂 I can’t believe it’s so cold there! We finally are starting to cool down – at least it says we will be after Halloween, but still in the 90’s through then, which is about 10 to 15 above normal. I’ve been extremely busy too, so I hope we both have nice Sundays and great smooth weeks ahead!

  9. Siran

I was thinking that the month was going by so slow. Good to hear about Clayton walking.

  10. Sam@WLABB

Reading by the fire sounds lovely. Our last two homes had fireplaces that we never lit, but they were nice to look at. Walking, how exciting! I remember thinking it was incredible, but also that it was a short time between walking and running, but at least I got a good workout keeping up with the kid.

I don’t think it has been long enough for the young Royal to be walking. He was just born a few months ago….right? Seriously, where does the time go? Poor trick-or-treaters! I hope it isn’t too cold here. Although my little ones both have warm looking costumes, just in case.
No new books? That’s weird. Not much coming out in December right? I am going to use that time as a big catch up before the new year.
    Have a great week Kimberly!

Sounds like you’re due for a relaxing day spent kicking back and reading. 🙂 Hope that works out! So crazy to think it’s that chilly where you are! It’ll be in the 70’s on Halloween here and back up into the 80’s by next weekend. Fall in Florida… like summer, just slightly less hot. LOL Love your random!! 🙂

Oh my word… I do recall those days when the grandchildren suddenly were wobbling about the place on unsteady feet. You’ll need plenty of coffee to stay one step ahead! And brrr… I’m very glad I’m not with you – we are still enjoying temperatures in the 60s during the day. I hope the cold eases up soon! Have a great week and wishing you a slice of our mild weather too.

  14. Jan

Oh, those first steps are so fun to watch, Kimberly . . . and then very quickly they’re into everything. Good luck! And have fun with the royals (as I know you do).

Sounds like a very busy week with both your professional life and your family life. Hope you have time for your reading and fireplace this afternoon! Have a great week.

That’s awesome Clayton can now walk. Sounds like a busy week with three of your authors having new releases and others sales. I got your comment on my sunday post, but it’s a good reminder to check my blog’s spam again to see if any legitimate comments landed there. Have a great week!

Aww, look out now he’ll be getting into everything as well. I am not looking forward to the colder weather. Seriously why couldn’t the nice temp hold out until the munchkins got their candy? Ugh! Well have a great week and happy reading!

Our weather seems to be slipping into cold times as well. I haven’t seen flurries yet but it’s definitely cold! I keep debating if I want flannel sheets on my bed! I’ve gone from one lightweight blanket to adding my heavier blanker and switching from shorts to sleep pants. Though now I’m feeling like I might want my flannel pants! LOL! It’s a process apparently! Hope you have a great week ahead!

I was wondering the same thing: where did October go? Usually I’ve already started my Christmas shopping and well, I haven’t bought a single thing yet this year. A fire sounds divine! We moved into a new house this year and we still need to have our gas hooked up for the fireplace. I’m hoping to get that done ASAP because it turned off cold here as well! Hope you have a great week and look forward to joining you for the HoHoHoRAT 😀 PS Thanks for the Hallmark movie schedule! I cannot wait to start that binge!

Growing up in WY, it was always freezing on Halloween. We’d be bundled up so much trick or treating, you couldn’t even tell what we were dressed up as. Lol. Have fun reading by the fire!

A fire sounds lovely! I don’t have a fireplace. I wish that I did. I’d love to install a wood-burning stove in the basement when I do the reno, but I found out that it will put my insurance through the roof so no go 🙁 Excellent news on Clayton walking! It’s amazing how fast they get once they start going.

We had snow and then it melted and now it’s back and our colder temps are here to stay. It’s about zero degrees, and our Halloween will be chilly here as well. Can’t wait for your HoHoHo Readathon! I think I already have my books picked out.

Haha that meme at the end pretty much sums up my week on these new (stupid) meds. Such fun news about Prince Clayton. Everyone will stay busy now for sure 😉 Is it bad that I get excited at the mention of snow flurries? I hope you have a wonderful week my friend!

  23. A Voracious Reader

My mom can confirm sighting a few small flurries in Ohio, but that’s it. Not cold enough here for the white stuff but we’ll be dipping close to 32 tonight before heading back up a bit. It’s still a little early here for temps that chilly. Stay warm!

Woot for Clayton! Let the bow-legged toddling commence! I love watching new walkers navigating. It’s so cute! I hope you have an awesome week, Kim!

Mmmm, reading by the fire sounds lovely. Yay for the little one starting to walk. I love that age and watching them go. It’s like a whole new world for them.

I just did my sign up post for the HoHoHo Readathon yesterday. Very excited about participating for the first time this year 🙂

We are getting snow today, but not a whole lot. Just enough to make everything slushy probably. Can’t believe the smallest Royal is already walking though! It’s all over now Nonna. lol… Enjoy your Sunday.

We must live in the same area because we had snow flurries on Friday and it is supposed to be cold here for the trick or treaters too. I will have to dig out my Chewbacca costume again. It keeps me very warm.

Cold enough for a fire already – wow! It’s been in the 60s and low 70s here, but today it’s rainy and down in the 50s. And the leaves have only just started to turn, though because of summer drought, they’ve been drying up and falling without turning. I miss the colors.

Congratulations to Prince Clayton! But with two of them mobile, they will definitely keep you hopping. 🙂

It’s not cool enough for a fire here yet, but it’s getting there. The weather is definitely changing over and putting me into the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas mood. Hope you have a great week!

  31. Laura Fabiani

Must be a joy to see your little grandchildren growing up! Getting colder here too. I could definitely use a fire and some reading on the couch. Enjoy the upcoming week.

  32. Joanne

Congrats to the youngest, Royal… eep, fire…it’s getting cooler at nights here but today is as hot and sticky as ever (not much breeze today). lol love the ‘givafukistan’ meme; just what I need. Have a chill but not too chill week.

  33. Mallory

I hope you’re having the best day curled in front of the fire with a good book 🙂 We had our first snow last Friday, but I think it’s a little more common in our neck of the woods. Can’t believe Hallmark Christmas movies are right around the corner! Thanks for sharing the schedule – would have never thought to look for one otherwise!

  34. Sophia Rose

Ah cute! But yes, look out world when they are mobile. 🙂

We got our fireplace going this week, too. It was the rainy cold nights that had us caving a bit earlier than usual. Yeah, brrr for Halloween here, too. I think we are supposed to get snow flurries that night.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

How wonderful the little man is walking. I remember when my boy walked. It was so wonderful and exciting. ^_^ Ah a fire and a good book… I miss that feature. Here in CA we don’t have a fireplace in our rental and well no snow, which I love to watch coming down and I love to curl up with a good book by the fire. I miss it so much… I guess I shouldn’t. We have nice weather year round and it gets in the 50’s at night and up into the 60-70’s during the day now. Have a great week and happy reading!

I’m very excited for the HoHoHo RAT. and it is super rainy here in VT I hope it drys out for Halloween 🙂

  37. Tyler H. Jolley

Congratulations on the walking! It’s such a bittersweet milestone. The baby becomes a toddler. I hope it warms up for you guys. We’re lucky, it looks like it’ll be in the upper 50’s for trick-or-treaters.

  38. Lorna

How fun! Watching a baby learning to walk and talk is the best! But crawling is pretty cute too! We finally put out heat on just at night a few days ago. Think the seventies are gone now and having sixties now. But 30’s and low 40’s at night. Snow in the western part of the state Sunday. We got that tropical storm Sunday night and the wind and rain was pretty ridiculous.
