This was a crazy stressful week. I constantly felt like I was running around with my head chopped off and consequently suffered from stress headaches. On the plus side, I did get a lot of cleaning done. This weekend was a little more relaxing with some work, lunch out and reading!  The week ahead is full of fun posts, as Caffeinated celebrates six years of blogging. Be sure to stop by and enter the different giveaways and check out my “Six” posts.  Stay Caffeinated my friends!

Happy 6th! Glad you’re having a more relaxed weekend! Looking forward to seeing your celebratory posts this week. 🙂

I saw that article on Vulture. Interesting!

Congrats on six years of blogging! I love the idea of featuring the number 6 in all your posts next week — I will have to stop back and check them out.

Yes. They started last week, but this week will be a full week of them back. I have a professional license test to pass this Thursday, so that will still keep me busy, but after that things will be much lighter. 🙂

Thank you, Di. We just got a phone call that our Aunt has been hospitalized, so it doesn’t look like it will be a peaceful week. 🙁

WOW, six years already, Kim? Congrats!!
I hope the stress-headaches are a thing of the past right now… those truly suck!
Your new books look great! I have the Molly Harper one, too – and you made me want to start it 😉
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

Happy Blogoverary!! When I see yours I know mine is coming up. I’ll have 6 years in Oct. 🙂

I can so relate to the running around thing. It seems like it never ends around here. Though so far this month is not as bad as July was. Whew! I hope you have a stress-free week, Kim!

6 years, yay! So happy for you. I hope you can relax this weekend. I’m finally back from my vacation and it was active, but restful in a different way. And I did get some reading done! Although not as much as I had hoped to do, but oh well!

Are you all relaxed now?? I forget last week, I think it was a blur for me… I don’t even want to imagine how busy you are!!!! And SIX YEARS of consistent blogging!!!! You are a verifiable rock star!!! I can’t wait to see your posts next week!! Hopefully I find time to get around the blogs *sigh*

And yay!! You saw Jen Ryan’s new book out there!!

    • kimbacaffeinate

Thanks, Kristin. It is hard to believe. I was remembering when I first started and didn’t have a Twitter or even a Facebook account. Times how they changed.lol

Sorry to hear you had such a stressful week :(. But it does sound like you got a lot done. Congrats to the 6 years of blogging and here’s to many more years!

How did I miss your anniversary? I have a lot of catching up to do! In my defense, I spent a lot of time fighting with my laptop trying to get it to work. I hope we both have a calmer week.

Congratulations on your sixth year of blogging – you have created a wonderful blog and I hope during the upcoming celebrations you find some time to put your feet up and recharge your batteries. I’ve also had a rather traumatic week…

Happy Blogoversary, Kimberly! Sorry to hear that the past week was hectic. I just had the past week off and, of course, it wasn’t long enough! But, no more holidays for me until Christmas 🙁

Hope you have a great week!

Aww I’m so sorry to hear about your headaches. Hopefully this week will be a lot less stressful. Sweet Tea and Sympathy looks amazing, and I love the cover of it…can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it. Have a great week, and congrats on 6 years!!

Happy 6 years of blogging! I passed on my blog birthday celebrations this summer because of all we had going on. I want to do something here in the future when things relax a bit.

Hope you had a great relaxing weekend!

  14. Chloe

Yay for six years! That is quite the accomplishment. I love the Keep Calm and Stay Caffeinated graphic. I need that tattooed on me somewhere! Have a great week!

  16. Samantha

Congrats on your 6 year anniversary! What a wonderful accomplishment! I need to get some cleaning done before I report back to work on Thursday. Then things will be go, go, go for me and my house always suffers!

Congratulations on six years! That’s a lot (as I know!) I’m sorry you’ve been stressed and not feeling well; I hope this week goes better for you. I’m still debating downloading the new Jennifer Ryan. The series is so good but can be a little on the rough and gritty side for me. But I will probably try it. 🙂

Running around and stressing is miserable for sure. Glad you had a quieter weekend. Yay for the Year of Six. Look forward to your Six posts.

I got Storm Gathering in my haul, too.

    Have a great week!

  19. Mallory

Hope next week is calmer and you can sit back and enjoy your blog-aversary! Congrats on six years and looking forward to all the celebration posts 🙂

(Your blog made me realize its noon and I’ve missed my morning coffee. Going to go fix that right now…)

  20. MarthaE

Glad you got through the stressful week and I hope this one is better and fun.
I wish I had more time to even look at upcoming releases. My only real source for that is NetGalley … and other bloggers of course. 🙂
    You have some nice arrivals.
I hope to stop by for your week of celebrating. Congratulations on 6 years!
    Happy Week and Happy Reading!

  21. Laura Fabiani

Six years is a great milestone in blogging. Congrats! I celebrated 8 years and I’m now in my 9th. I hope this upcoming week is less stressful. Enjoy your new books!

  22. Diane Sallans

Thank you for all the time & effort you have put in over those Six Years!

    • kimbacaffeinate

I am curious about Harper’s book too. I hope to read it this upcoming weekend. Would you believe I woke with a headache this morning? GRR. I am lying in bed listening to Practical Magic. I read it years and years ago and of course, adore the movie. But the book and movie have blurred, and with the new release, I wanted to freshen my memory. It is splendid on audio.

  23. Lorna

I read these backwards today and already congratulated you. Stress headaches are no fun. Sounds like you need to relax more but I know that’s hard to do. My week was pretty horrible. 3 days in the hospital, my third hospitalization since June 23. This time they finally cured me for real! Hope this week is better than the last for you.

    • kimbacaffeinate

Oh, Lorna I really hope they have cured you. You have had a rough go of it lately. I hope you’ve been able to read or at least listen. Yes, some of it is needing rest and some of my issue is not worrying about all the peeps in my life so much. Mentally I cannot fix things for them, .but my mind sure likes to try!

    • kimbacaffeinate

Thank you, Katherine. This week isn’t chalking up to be much better. Our AC unit died. It was a slow and painful death, but we now need to buy a new unit. LOL, My sticky is sticky!
