Enjoy the last few days, definitely. I always hate coming home from vacation (who doesn’t right?) because like you said, then you need a vacation from the vacation! Or at least from everything that piled up!

Hope you have a good reading week.

Drooling over The Devil’s Cut. I started that series, and really loved the first book, but the library has yet to get the second one. *sad face* I hope you adjust quickly upon your return from vacation. I remember having those “vacation hangovers”, where it was just so sad to return to reality.

I hope you’ve had a great time on holiday Kim. Coming home is great but there’s always sorting out to do isn’t there?

  4. Lola

I hope you’ll enjoy the last few days of your vacation and you enjoy seeing your family again when you get back. That feeling of catching up when you get back is no fun though. Have a great week!

Yeah, I always feel like I need a few days of adjusting after a vacation! Or a post vacation vacation that’s really about readjusting to society! LOL! Hope you enjoy the remaining days!

Nice new read too! Totally new to me but I hope you will thoroughly enjoy it!

    Here’s my STS

    Have a GREAT day!

Yay for getting a hold of Devil’s Cut, I have the first two books on my kindle waiting to be read. I need to do that very soon.

The worst thing about vacations is when you get back and all the stuff you need to do. Hope the adjustment back to real life goes smoothly.

Enjoy the last of your vacation! For me, it’s a double-edged sword because I’m so busy when I get back to work that I end up doing tons of overtime and undoing the rest! Oh, well!! I haven’t read any of Ward’s other books (other than BDB) so I’m curious what you think of them.

Oh yeah. I know the feeling of needing a vacation from your vacation. And the dreaded catch up you try to play. Ugh. But it’s so worth it. 🙂 Hope you had a lovely time and a safe trip home.

Revel in those last days of vacation, Kim. And I know just what you mean. I always need a vacation to recover from one. I try to clean and do everything else I can before I go so there’s that much less waiting when I get home. Funny how dust just appears. Where the heck does it get in. LOL

Been so busy this week we’re actually thinking of trying out that dishwasher we have in our rented apartment but never used! (But we need to go buy dishwasher tablets. Figures.)
I hope your vacation filled up your batteries, Kim 🙂

I’m glad you had a great time!!! It’s always the coming home part I dread. We just had a staycation and I still feel like I’m so behind. I hate catching up the most. I hope you have a relaxing return back to normal.
    Have a great week!!

Cannot wait to hear all about the vacation! I am glad you have had this time to unplug a bit 🙂 Hopefully returning back to norm will not be too much work.

  13. Lark

I hope you’re having a lovely time! Safe travels as you return, and good luck with the post-vacation catch-up (and post-vacation letdown, if you get that.) I know you’ll enjoy getting back to the Royals, though. 🙂

That is how I feel about summer coming to a close (for us teachers). I am now realizing the 349 things I wanted to do during the summer and put off and put off. Now it’s catch-up. Enjoy your last days!

  15. RO

Goodness, a new one from JR Ward, huh? Coming back to catch up from vacation can be the pits. That’s why they had to practically pry my legs and arms from the desk at a few jobs I had as they tried to ‘encourage’ me to take vacation. (lol) Glad you had fun!

    Hallo, Hallo everyone!

It’s my 2nd week and blessed to say, I’m posting on SUNDAY this week! Right on time, too! As you will find out, between the lightning and a few health woes, I was a smidge under-productive in regards to what I wanted to accomplish in my reading life – although I had an incredible time reading a new MG Fantasy!

Holidays end far too quickly, don’t they? Thanks for hosting such a lovely meme – I have truly enjoyed becoming a part of it! 🙂

I hate all the work that comes with coming down from vaca. I am taking an extra day after I get back to catch up with the kids and the house. I hope you enjoy the rest of your days there.

Hope you enjoyed your vacation though there’s nothing quite as nice as getting home! Though the laundry is pretty crazy. I swear it multiplies in my suitcase. Have a fantastic week!
