Sunday Post

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

I was completely and unexpectedly MIA all week. I struggled through our Easter celebration and as soon as our company left I crashed. Despite being on meds the sinus infection worked its way into my ears and chest. Needless to say, I was miserable. If you ask Mr. Caffeinated he would say I am still sick, but I am improving. Admittedly it has left me feeling very weak and I easily tire. The new season of Doctor Who started and I am finally caught up on this year’s season of the Magicians. The Clean Sweep ARC challenge begins May 1st and I hope you join in the fun. Rain has made everything green and lawn mower season has begun. Stay Caffeinated and enjoy the week ahead!

Lawn mower season has begun! Good grief my grass grew like overnight lol from all the rain. Sorry you had a rough week, hope you’re feeling better. 🙂

I’ve seen S1 of Magicians but none of S2. I need to watch Dr. Who at some point…

Oh so sorry to hear you’ve been so ill but glad you’re feeling better. Hopefully you’ll still be getting lots of rest this week. You got so many great books this week! That Karen White especially is calling my name. Have a great week.

I’m sorry you’ve been feeling under weather again, Kim, and truly hope you’ve kicked that nasty infection now!
Not sure what I did up there with Mr. Linky, but it’s the link to my post from last week that ended up there… I guess it’s a cookie thing?
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading. *hugs*

I hope you get better somehow. Just reading your totally random funny card was brilliant and made me laugh. Enjoy your new books and the weather:p

I am so sorry to hear you have been sick! It seems like everyone at work has been too. I haven’t been feeling myself either, unfortunately, and I think allergies are mostly to blame. I have this annoying cough that is causing more trouble then it’s worth. Anyway, I hope you are feeling much better soon!

I am excited about reading The Night the Lights Went Out and The Girl Who Knew Too Much. Both sound really good.

I hope you have a great week, Kim!

I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better. Don’t push yourself though. Rest, drink coffee, do some stuff, rest, drink coffee, repeat. I know, I know, much easier for me to say way over here than for you to do. All I ask is you try, and screw what Yoda says. 🙂 I had to get the mower out this past week, though what we have greening up is mostly weeds. I don’t ever think we’ll have actual grass. I hope you have a wonderful week, Kim!

Oh my. I hope you get some energy back soon. We didn’t get our lawn mowed last weekend since it was Easter and we went out of town. My husband if a tax accountant and Tax Season officially ended on Tuesday. Our lovely neighbors reported us to the HOA for not mowing our lawn. Yeah. We have those neighbors. Lovely hu? Any ways have a good week!!

Oh no! I’m sorry you are so sick and Easter was hard for you with it. Hope you feel better. Take care.

I’ve not watched Dr. Who except a few repeats that I find. It’s fun to watch though. I should add it to my schedule and get going with it. 🙂

Take care and hope you feel better each day!

I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been sick. I hope you are finally on the road to recovery. Your books all look good. I haven’t read Lori Forster in such a long time, but she’s on my list to get back to reading. Have a great week!

  11. Samantha

Lawnmower season has begun here as well! Sorry your sinus infection has spread. I hate when that happens! I am several seasons behind on Doctor Who. I have to wait until it releases on Netflix to watch it :{ I haven’t seen the newest doctor at all!
    Have a great week!

It sounds like a bad week. I’m so sorry you’ve been so sick. I hope you’re on the mend now. Definitely lawn mowing season here, too. I hope you have a better week and that you can enjoy the nice weather and read some good books.

Sorry to hear you’ve been sick the whole week :(. I hope you’re feeling better. Nice haul of books you got this week! I hope they’re all good ones. Have a great week!

Oh, my! Sorry to hear that you had another bad week. At least you have nice weather!! We had flurries yesterday, but it’s all melted away. Still the temps haven’t bounced back yet, and we’ll be staying cool for the coming week. I’ve had Darkhouse on my e-Reader for a very long time! I’ve heard it’s good, but I haven’t gotten around to it because I still don’t really like reading on my iPad. Feel better and have a better week!

  15. Amanda

I hope you feel better soon! I also wasn’t at my best this week. These spring/summer colds are worst. I can’t stop coughing!

  16. Christina T

Sorry to hear you haven’t been well. I hope you feel better soon and that the sinus infection clears up quickly! I hate sinus stuff.

You have some interesting books this week. I am on the waiting list for The Night the Lights Went Out. I also want to read Slightly South of Simple. Looks like a good beach read.

You’ve had more than your share of illness recently. So glad you are feeling better! Scary when it goes to your chest. I can’t wait to see what you think of Dark House. One of my all time favorite series. It starts out YA and then isn’t anymore as you get into the series. It really gets better as you go! Hope you get some more rest this week and feel better.

  18. Danielle

So sorry you found yourself down and out all week. I am hoping you are getting some relief at this point? I had to take an unexpected hiatus as well due to pneumonia. So I am not sure if I will have a Sunday post. I feel you on everything right now and sending many healing vibes!

I hope you are enjoying Doctor Who. I actually like the new companion Bill so far. She is pretty fun. I gave on on getting to Magicians so it will have to wait until the next season is up on Netflix as we had a DvR issue.

    Take care!

  19. Charlie

I think everyone in the neighborhood has been out mowing this weekend. Our lawn definitely looks better. I hope you start feeling better!

  20. Laura Fabiani

I find that when I get sick in the spring it takes longer to get better, probably because I;m more tired and need that summer vacation! I hope you get much better soon. Karen White’s book has gotten some good reviews. Hope you love all tour new books!

  21. Angela

This year people have been sick a lot longer then usual. It took me over three weeks to get ride of my flu bug. Being sick never is fun. Hope you feel better soon.

Hope you enjoy all your new arrivals. Happy Reading!!

Stay in bed! That last flu knocked me for a loop. We went furniture and grocery shopping on Saturday and it made me notice how weak I still feel. I sat on my butt all day today! Please take care. Have a healthier new week. 🙂

Omg, I love that Totally Random photo. LOL

I’m sorry you had a rough week last week though. I hate being sick – I hope you start feeling better soon!

I might have to do the Clean ARC Sweep for May. I’m doing something similar for April – and I’m close to having all April ARCS finished, but I’d love to finish up May and get ahead in May.

I feel you. I caught a little something over the weekend and sluggish today. I have a full week so it will be tough getting proper rest. I like the looks of The Night the Lights Went Out. Happy reading and resting.

Oh Kimba, I’m so sorry you got so sick. Those sinus infections can migrate quickly and really knock you down. Glad you’re on the mend. Stay caffeinated and hydrated 🙂

I’m late to your Sunday post, Kim. I’m sorry to hear about your sinus infection. Those are so painful! I’ve been taken down hard by a sinus cold. I’m feeling a little better today but man, it really sucks. Hope you’re feeling better this week. I’m off to check out your review of Lover Unbound. That has piqued my interest 😉
