Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

My Mom arrived safely on Thursday and we are enjoying her visit. My son (middle child) celebrated his 24th Birthday on Saturday. Yay..more cake! We are eating too much, watching way too much HGTV (she is addicted to it) and just enjoying the company. I thought I would continue blogging- silly me. As you can see I’ve been MIA since Weds. Mom leaves on Thursday night and things should quiet down around here. Since my word for 2017 is “moments” I am just enjoying. FYI, it warmed up for her visit and was 47 yesterday. She was still freezing! Hope you have an amazing week! Stay Caffeinated!

    It’s lovely you’re enjoying your mother’s visit. I’ve lived nearby mine for the last 4yrs and appreciate it now after living ‘elsewhere’ for so long.

    I don’t know what HGTV is so will google that… and I wouldn’t worry about the blogging. We’ll all be here when you’ve got time! x

    I’m so glad you are enjoying your visit with your mother…even if you aren’t reading as much. It reminds me of when my eldest son and my DIL visited last summer, and my blogging and reading suffered. But we had a lot of fun!

    I can remember being addicted to HGTV! It is easy to do.

    Enjoy your week and your new books.

    Well now I want thin mints! I haven’t bought any Girl Scout cookies yet but I make no promises. I fully agree with your mother – 47 is way too cold! Happy birthday to your son, a lovely rest of visit with your mom and a fantastic week!

    I am glad you are enjoying your mom’s visit. And Happy Birthday to your son! I’m eating way too many cookies these days. Before, it was easier because I was limited in eating only what I bought from others. Now I am surrounded by cookies in my own home and they tempt me at every turn. I’m trying to be good though.

    I hope you have a great week, Kim!

    I’m glad you’re enjoying the time with your family! Happy birthday to your son! I feel like I’m the only person who doesn’t love Girl Scout cookies. I will devour a whole box if someone gives me one though. 😛

    I hope you have a good week!

    I’m glad you’re enjoying all the ‘now’ moments with your mom during her visit! And that the weather is a bit warmer than anticipated, even if she still thinks it’s cold!
    I’m going to Norway in a week to spend one week with my mom, my sister and the rest of them 😀 Can’t wait!
    Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading plus new-memories-making! {{{Hugs}}}

    A great motto to have for this year – we should all live more in the moment and I’m glad you’re taking time out to make the most of your mother’s visit. I’m with her – 47 IS too cold! Hope the rest of her visit continues to go well and have a lovely week:).

    It was so nice of your Mom to bring the warm weather with her! Glad to hear you are enjoying her visit. My mom just left to go get her stuff, and her cat, from my brothers. She is officially moving in when she gets back on the 17th. I hope she brings warm weather with hr when she comes back. It has been wicked cold here, not much snow though. Have a great week!

    Happy birthday to your son, and hope his coming year is wonderful. Glad you are enjoying your Mom’s visit! And I hear you about overeating and HGTV– that’s me in a nutshell if I don’t keep myself in line 🙂 But add in coffee or tea and a book, too…

    Haven’t read any of your books, so more for me to check out and find one I’d like– enjoy the rest of this week and the blogging can wait.

    It has been chilly the last three days. I wasn’t prepared for it when I rolled my suitcase out Friday morning, but I didn’t have time to go back in and repack for the change in the weather. I hope your family is enjoying all this time together. Moments is a good word to choose!
