Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

The past week has been fantastic. Lots of time spent kissing and hugging my grandbabies, curling up with some books and eating. The only black spot on the week was a fall I took in the middle of the night down a flight of stairs. The next day I was sore and had some rug burns on my arms and rump but the following day when I woke up, OMG I could barely move. Why does that happen? Thankfully all injuries were surface and muscle, but it certainly slowed me down. Mr. Caffeinated fed my inner child and took me to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I enjoyed it. We worked on getting the house decorated for Christmas and today I plan to sneak in a long nap. I hope those of you Stateside had a wonderful Thanksgiving and lots of pie. Have a great week and stay caffeinated!

I’m so sorry to hear about your fall but glad to hear you’re okay! It sounds like you had a wonderful week! Is there anything better than baby snuggles? Glad to hear you enjoyed Fantastical Beasts. It looks amazing. Have a great week!

I’m glad you had a nice week, but sorry to hear about the fall. I’m glad your injuries were minor, though that can still be very painful!

I’d got this thing about waiting until December to start decorating so perhaps next weekend!

YIKES! Been there and done that, but glad hubby was around to make you feel better. Also to spread love and get it back from family is so amazing and fulfilling, and glad your holiday has been so rewarding. I missed a few reviews from my fave authors, and have to go back to check them out. Hugs…RO

I am so sorry about your fall, Kim. I’ve fallen down our stairs. The first time I broke my ankle. So not fun. I am just waiting for daughter to tumble down, although I really hope that never happens. I hope you heal quickly. Other than that, I am glad you had such a nice holiday! We did too. 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful week, Kim!

Oh, my muscles ache for you! I hope you feel better soon. So glad you are enjoying the babies and seeing some movies.

I can’t wait to get a copy of When All the Girls Have Gone. Enjoy your week!

Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving, but yikes about the fall! Glad it wasn’t serious… and yeah what is it about being sore and half dead the next day lol? when something like that happens you always know the next day is gonna be awful! Seriously though glad you’re okay.

Hope you’re having a fabulous weekend, and glad to hear Fantastic beasts is good. I want to see it…

Oh no! I’m so sorry you took that fall. I completely believe you about the hurt being worse the second day – just like with workouts…
I’m glad you’ve had lots of time to hug and kiss your grandbabies.
    Have a wonderful week ahead, I hope the worst of your hurts are gone, and that you’re able to do everything the way you normally do. {{{HUGS}}}

Oh my! I am sorry you had to rough yourself up during a holiday. I hope the grandbabies took your mind off of it some. We are supposed to go and see Fantastic Beasts this week sometime. I did have pie, thank you! And probably too much if it, too. Ha ha. Feel better quickly and have a wonderful week. 🙂

That fall! It really could have been so much worse, and I am glad that you didn’t suffer anything too serious.
We started to put up our decorations too. We are going pretty simple this year, so just enough to make it feel like the comforts of Christmas.

Nothing better than cuddling babies:)… So sorry to hear about the fall – but if you’re still stiff and bruised try getting hold of arnica, both the ointment and tablets. It’s little short of magical, when you slather the ointment onto bruises and any stiffness and taking the tablets really helps ease that residual ache. Glad you had such a lovely Thanksgiving and hope you soon feel back to your normal bouncy self. My Sunday Post

Glad to hear you had such a good week! Sorry to hear about the fall though, those are nasty, especially when the next day you feel every spot you hit. I’ve been hearing good things about magical beast and Where to Find Them, I plan to watch it eventually. Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I enjoyed your Black Friday hop and visited quite some blogs to enter their giveaway, it was fun! Have a great week!

So happy you had a good Thanksgiving, Kimba! And so glad the tumble you took wasn’t worse. Enjoy those grandbabies and preparing for Christmas.

OMG! Your fall. I’m glad you’re mostly okay. That is so scary. Falling is a phobia of mine. Down stairs, off ladders, from high places without a good enough railing. I used to think it was a fear of heights, but I’m okay if there is a very sturdy railing, so I decided it must just be of falling. So glad you got a lot of time with your grandbabies. That has to be the best Thanksgiving over. I had a friend over since neither of us had family in town. Have a great week. I hope your soreness goes away quickly.

I’m so glad you aren’t hurt worse. I’m glad you had such an awesome week! Spending time with the family is the best. I actually didn’t get pie it was kind of disappointing, I was deemed cupcake maker and figured someone would bring pie but they didn’t. Next year I’ll bring Pecan pie.
Sounds like a nap would be perfect. I hope you have an amazing week and heal quickly.

We had a similar week. Except for the fall. And reading. I didn’t get much reading done. I’m glad you were only sore and nothing more serious happened after your tumble. Reminds me of that meme that says: I fell down the stairs. But on the bright side, I haven’t moved that fast in years. I hope you have a great week, Kim!

Oh no on the fall. I hope you are ok. I did something similar a few years ago and it does take a few days for it to hit your body. Warm bathes and lots of relaxing are recommended. Hope you feel better this week.

  21. Lark

Oh, gosh, I’m glad you weren’t hurt worse in your fall! But the rest of your week sounds lovely, between cuddling your grandbabies and seeing Fantastic Beasts. We’re waiting until we can go see it with Robin, after her college lets out next week. 🙂 Enjoy your nap, and I hope your bumps and bruises feel better soon!

Sorry about the fall! Yes, injuries sure take awhile to sink in, then watch out! Hope the great happenings during the week overshadowed the pain ☺
If able, please share another pic of baby!
Thanks for running the Black Friday hop– was fun to visit new folks.

  23. Sophia Rose

Ahhh, glad your week was full of good things even if you took a tumble- ouch, been there.

Haven’t got the Christmas decorations up yet, but hope to do it this week. Fantastic Beasts… was fun. Loved it, too.

The day after any kind of fall or accident is always worse for some reason. I believe it’s due to all the endorphins and chemicals that are released during the event actually dissipating. I’m glad you weren’t badly injured!

Sounds like you had a great week! Accept for that fall off course.. Stairs are definitely dangerous at times. I see a lot of people who fall of stairs as a nurse. So glad to hear you’re okay! 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!

Ooo sorry to hear about your fall, but at least it wasn’t to sever. My mom did the same thing, but had to go to the hospital one time.

Thanksgiving was wonderful. I hosted for the first time and cooked my first Turkey. We are stuffed in our home. It was nice my parents came into town to celebrate with us. We don’t get to see them much since we are West and they are East now.

We are going to try and see Fantastic Beasts this coming week once everyone leaves.

So glad that you’ve been having a lovely week! It sounds like the perfect kind of one to have too – other than the fall of course! I’m glad that you are okay and that it wasn’t more serious!

Also glad to hear that you enjoyed Fantastic Beasts. I am looking forward to that one.

We’ll also be doing Christmas decorations this week – I can’t believe it’s that time of year again already!

    Have a lovely week!

Hi Kim, so sorry to hear about your fall. OUCH! Nice that you’re able to relax and snuggle with grandbabies though 🙂 I will have to check out the new Christmas read. I’m behind in my reading as i’m still slowly finishing the Outlander 2nd in the series (almost done!). Will move on to some of the Christmas reads you’ve recommended here. Enjoy your Christmas decorating!

We spent the entire holiday weekend up in the mountains so we didn’t do our usual movie on Thursday. Was the Mythical Beasts as good as the HP franchise? My kids and I really wanted to see it.
