I was MIA last Sunday as my daughter ended up going to the hospital due to illness and we had the Princess. On Monday her Doctor scheduled her to be induced on the 21st, but Prince Clayton had other plans. Weds at 2:30 am we went to the hospital, but after 4:30 am they sent us home, and we returned around 10:30 that evening. At 5:21 am on November 17th,  I witnessed the birth of my grandson Clayton Richard, weighing in a 6 lbs 6.8 oz and 19 inches long. Both Mommy and baby are fantastic. Princess Sophia is in love with her new brother, and we could not be happier for them all. As you can imagine, I have been MIA as we celebrate the newest edition to our family. We have a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. While I will be making an effort to visit folks,  I will be unplugged until December 4th. You will find a picture of Prince Clayton below. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and stay Caffeinated!

Congrats on the arrival of Clayton and I’m sure you’ll all still be celebrating!

I had to look twice then at one of your reviews – a book by someone who’s my namesake (almost) – spells Cook with an ‘e’.

What a week, huh? That must be your other granddaughter. I wasn’t sure if this new baby was the same family if if it was another son or daughter of yours having a baby. She looks like a very proud sister.
I can’t believe you will get a lot of reading done over the next few weeks. I know I didn’t when we had a new one at the holidays. Congratulations.
