HoHoHo Readathon

Welcome, Everyone! I hope you have a nice pile of holiday and winter-themed books lined up for the next seven days. Don’t forget the fuzzy socks, hot cocoa and music. I will be nestled in my reading chair as I listen and read.

Below you will find the Challenges hosted by some fantastic elves and the participant giveaway. Be sure and use hashtag #HoHoHoRAT on your Tweets, Instagram and Social media shares.

During the event, I will be sharing holiday reviews so be sure to check daily. Perhaps you will find a new read. On Friday, Ashley Farley will be here talking about the holidays and offering a giveaway just for you.

Thanks for hosting! I am kicking off my day with Amazing Peace by Maya Angelo. It’s a long poem/ novella, so I will be able to continue with the books that I have already started. I see that you have a Debbie Macomb book on your list. She is one of my favorites. I am working on a old, traditional theme for the read-a-thin, but will definitely be reading a Debbie Macomb or two this Christmas season. Happy reading, Kim.

I have yet to get a holiday read for this year, I suck. You know what though, I just might have some on my kindle somewhere from years earlier (sad but true). I need to search through my Amazon purchases to check dang it.

Good luck to everyone who takes part in this fun event!!

The holiday decorations are already up in the shops, so I guess it’s time to crack out all the holiday reads!! 😉

Nooooooooo! I’m in denial re Christmas but as I’m now apparently hosting it for the first time I guess I need to get organised.

That doesn’t mean I’m gonna start reading any Xmas books / watching Xmas TV though! I’ll just make my ‘to do’ list and ponder it for a few weeks!

I host every year, you will do great! As for the books… pre-blogging I began them after Thanksgiving. Most holiday books release in Sept/Oct, but I review them in November-December. This thon works out perfectly for bloggers and readers alike to get in the mood 🙂
