Sunday Post

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

Good Morning, I am completely unplugged this weekend as yesterday I celebrated my fiftieth birthday and figured I deserved the weekend off. Last week fall weather swept in giving us crisp days and downright chilly mornings. The week ahead promises high’s in the low 80’s and I am ok with that 🙂 We started watching the Exorcist. I love these type of shows dealing with the demonic, like Supernatural, Sleepy Hollow, and the Originals. Hope the week ahead is good for you. Stay caffeinated!

Happy birthday!! Hope you have a great unplugged weekend. And I love those kinds of shows, especially this time of the year. Perfect weather for it too… it’s been cool and crisp here- love it.

    Have a great week Kimba.

Happy 50th!!! I’m 49 in December so following close behind!

I just had a friend and her family here and we were commenting on what a beautiful day it is. We’re heading into summer but spring has been still fairly cool here so far.

I think I taped the first episode of The Exorcist but then forgot to record the second… as long as it’s not too gory I’ll be okay with it.

Happy Birthday!!!! I love shows like that too, but I am so far behind on Supernatural. It’s actually a bit shameful how utterly behind I am. I miss the boys.
I hope you enjoy your unplugged weekend and your birthday!

Happy birthday!!!!! You definitely deserve a weekend of being completely unplugged and chilled out. – I hope you have a fantastic one. 🙂

Re: the Christmas decorations….. I’m kinda already excited for Christmas too! I’m going to struggle to wait until December to decorate. I blame the two year old! 😉

Happy birthday!! I have been catching up on everything I missed while in Italy so I have lots of shows to watch (Big Bang, How to Get Away with Murder, Grey’s Anatomy, etc). I can’t wait to see your reviews of Safe from Harm and Deadly Silence; both are on my TBR!

Happy belated birthday! I hope you had a great day! We’re having some cooler weather here as well and it’s been nice. I haven’t watched the exorcist, but I hope you’re enjoying it!

Nice haul! I am curious about Under Rose Tainted Skies. I haven’t seen any Christmas decorations here yet. Have a great week!

Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great day!
I love October movies, it’s always such an awesome time to get those scary movies in. If Sleepy Hollow is the one with Johnny Depp it’s my FAVORITE! I even listen to the soundtrack during the day at work. Love that movie.

Have a great week, Kim! Happy Reading and Happy Birthday! ox

Happy Birthday Kim! I’m not too far behind you. O.O I have the Originals in my Netflix List. One of these days I’ll start watching it. So many shows and most of my time is spent reading or on the internet. lol I hope you’re enjoying unplugged weekend! 🙂

Happy Birthday, weekend!!!! A well deserved weekend off. Last week we started off in triple digits but dropped down to low 70’s which was super chilly and back up to mid 80’s yesterday. I don’t think we are done with the hot weather yet. I’m hit or miss on scary shows like I love Supernatural and Sleepy Hallow but the Exorcist is just a little too creepy for me.
I hope you have an amazing week!!!! I hope you Birthday was wonderful!!!! Enjoy your new books and happy reading!!

You well deserve a weekend off! Happy birthday. Hope you got lots of relaxation in. 🙂

I know I have to do it when I’m getting to overwhelmed, and it’s been happening a lot lately. *sigh*

    Take care!

  15. Berls

Happy birthday!! Enjoy your unplugged weekend 🙂 so is the exorcist a TV show now? Because you said you started to watch it, and I figured you don’t start to watch movies… You watch them. Right? I don’t keep up with TV well. But I like Paranormal elements 🙂 have a great week week!

Happy Birthday! I love the random image! I was in Michael’s yesterday trying to find some good Halloweenish washi tape and I had to dig through all the Christmas decorations first! I was able to go to a Supernatural con last month and hugging on Jared and Jensen I think has made my year! All the good shows are starting up this month so hopefully I don’t get sucked down the TV hole and not get any reading done!

  17. kindlemom1

Happy Birthday! You deserve a break for sure!

So are you liking the Exorcist? I thought I might be too big of a wimp for it. How is it scary wise from Sup or Sleepy Hollow?

I’m glad you were able to enjoy your birthday, and yay on the vaycay! I still haven’t seen any of the Exorcist movies so I know I won’t be watching the TV show. I’m actually looking forward to watching Luke Cage on Netflix.

Happy 50th Birthday Girl!!!! What are you doing special?!?! I thought you were going somewhere??? Enjoy being UNPLUGGED (that does NOT sound right!!) tee, hee!!

  20. Sophia Rose

I’ve watched Sleepy Hollow, but that’s the extent of my demon shows. I had no idea there was a new Exorcist. Hope you like it.

    Enjoy your birthday weekend!

I’m not familiar with any of the books in your haul, but I’m curious about the Wangs.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

  21. Angela

Nice book haul hope you enjoy the new books. I’m so glad you loved A Promise Of Fire By Amanda Bouchet. It was amazing and I can’t wait for book 2. I like fall all those colors, but I’m not a Horror movie or Exorcist. Can’t get into those things. Have a great week and welcome to October!

  22. Introverted Jen

Happy birthday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

I love to read horror but I can’t watch many horror movies, and The Exorcist is definitely not one I could ever watch! Demonic/possession kinds of things scare me to death and I steer clear of them even in print.

I love your Christmas picture! I hate how early all the decorating starts!

    Enjoy your week!

Lol! I just went shopping with my mom and saw some Christmas decorations so that meme is perfect.

You’ve got some great new arrivals. Based on the cover alone Under Rose-Tainted Skies and Between Two Fires both look awesome!

    Happy Birthday! XD

I hope you had a lovely birthday and birthday weekend, Kim! <3
*shudders* Demon possession is something I can't watch. I can read about it but I can't handle watching it. I hope you're enjoying The Exorcist though. 🙂 Low 80's, huh? We have snow in the forecast for this week. I think I'm ready. 😀

Happy Birthday to you! That’s a milestone for sure and deserves a weekend off at the least. I love the cooler weather so much! I had cataract surgery yesterday and will have the second one in two weeks so my reading this month is going to be very limited. Happy that I have stockpiled lots of books to listen to. So far it’s worth it as I can already see better than with my glasses! Enjoy your Birthday month!

  28. Juli

I love the Robin Williams pic and your sentiment with it. Even some of the TV stations are starting to play Christmas themed commercials. Ugh! It’s too darned early for thinking of Christmas! I’m still waiting for that cooler weather.
But! In the meantime, I hope you had a good birthday!

  29. Michelle

I love Autumn, especially as it means we are closer to Winter. Scary movies are great anytime, but even more so when it gets darker faster. I still need to find a movie that scares me.

    Happy Belated Birthday Wishes!!!!!
