It's not just the motion of the ocean, ladies. It's definitely the SIZE of the boat too.

And I've got both firing on all cylinders. In fact, I have ALL the right assets. Looks, brains, my own money, and a big cock.

You might think I'm an asshole. I sound like one, don’t I? I'm hot as sin, rich as heaven, smart as hell and hung like a horse.

Guess what? You haven't heard my story before. Sure, I might be a playboy, like the NY gossip rags call me. But I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy. Which makes me one of a kind.

The only trouble is, my dad needs me to cool it for a bit. With conservative investors in town wanting to buy his flagship Fifth Avenue jewelry store, he needs me not only to zip it up, but to look the part of the committed guy. Fine. I can do this for Dad. After all, I’ve got him to thank for the family jewels. So I ask my best friend and business partner to be my fiancée for the next week. Charlotte’s up for it. She has her own reasons for saying yes to wearing this big rock.

And pretty soon all this playing pretend in public leads to no pretending whatsoever in the bedroom, because she just can’t fake the kind of toe-curling, window-shattering orgasmic cries she makes as I take her to new heights between the sheets.

But I can’t seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for her.

What the fuck have I gotten myself into with this…big rock?

Five Things I Have Learned While Blogging

  • It’s ok to DNF.  DNFing has opened the door to trying new authors and genres
  • Gremlins do exist. Sometimes things on the blog act wonky for no reason. is true.
  • Bookish Friends are the Best.
  • While I love all genres, I go through mood swings where I want all of one genre and then it suddenly changes.
  • Everyday is an opportunity to learn new things.

Good luck and stay caffeinated!

I’m not sure I could pick one favorite audiobook, but I have favorite narrators. Mandy Williams, Nick Podehl, Caroline Lee, Carla Mercer-Meyer, and Nicola Barber are a small sampling of my faves 🙂

  2. Bec

I haven’t used audible yet but there’s no reason I shouldn’t! I’m planning to sign up! Thanks!

  3. Sophia Rose

Your list of things learned sounds very familiar. 😉 I’m still learning so much, too. Oh, I do like what I see of your audio recommends. I’ve been figuring out what I like in audios. So far my favorite remains the first I ever listened to, Davina Porter narrating Outlander. But several others are now giving it a run for the money.

  4. Mary Kirkland

I agree with you on the 5 things I learned while blogging. It is ok to not finish a book, it’s hard for me to do that though because I always hope it gets better. I go thorough mood swings where all I want is a certain genre too.

My favorite audio book so far is “Me Before You”. Just getting started with Audible but I’m really enjoying them.

  6. RO

Love your list and it’s right on point. Always such cool stuff going on here! Love ya! Hugs..

It’s so hard to choose one! Shutter by Courtney Alameda was an awesome listen and The Harvesting series by Melanie Karsak is one of my favorites because of Kristen James the narrator.
I actually really started listening to audiobooks because of you. I was always seeing your reviews about them, and reading about how you were doing other things and still getting reading in. So thank you for inspiring me to really give it a shot!

I don’t have just one favorite audio book. I loved the Harry Potter series on audio book (minus Hermione’s voice), The Help by Kathryn Stockett, the Star Wars Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn, and The Heroes of Olympus books 1-3 by Rick Riordan just to name a few. The stories as well as the narration were excellent.

  9. Kathy

I love audiobooks too and I’m always listening to them in my car or while exercising. My favorites so far have been paranormals since the narrator brings the spooky scenes to life and makes it more exciting. I really love listening to the Charlie Davidson series (Charley and Cookie crack me up lol) and Jonathan Stroud’s Lockwood & Co series (a middle grade series) is really good. Happy Blogiversary and thank you for this giveaway!

It’s hard to choose my favorite audiobook… but I have really loved some of the audiobooks produced by Full Cast Audio, especially their Tamora Pierce books (The Circle of Magic series and the Daine series) and Gilbert and Sullivan Set Me Free by Katherine Karr. Other terrific audiobooks I’ve listened to include the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik (narrated by Simon Vance) and the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss (narrated by Nick Podehl, I think.)

    Thank you for the giveaway!

That’s a tough one! I love audiobooks. How abut my recent favorites? I love Stefan Rudnicki’s narration of Babyl 17 by Delany. I also recently listened to Red Rising – terrific storing but also great narration. Wil Wheaton did an awesome job with Ready Player One.

My favorite changes all the time, but my current favorite series is The Pillars of Reality by Jack Campbell read by the awesome MacLeod Andrews.

My review of PoR Book #1

  13. Kathy Davis

I love to listen to any of the audio books by Molly Harper. I think, they are laugh out loud funny. Her last book, Where the Wild Things Bite, was pee your pants funny. The narrator is perfect too.

  14. Kathy Davis

Sorry to comment twice, and I’m not trying to cheat. I audio books, and listen almost daily, and another great book, that I want to recommend is Wallbanger by Alice Clayton. 🙂 Hope you try my suggestions, and love them. 🙂

  15. cali

I have a hard time staying focused on audiobooks, so I mostly just listen to non-fiction. My favourite so far is probably Yes Please by Amy Poehler (read by her).

  16. Rebecca

Princess Diaries made for excellent audio! Anna Hathaway is a brilliant narrator 🙂

  17. Leslie

I loved Written in Red – the beginning of a great series and great audio too.
