You know what makes you feel old? Wishing your baby a Happy 22nd Birthday! Yep, my baby who will soon be a mother for the second time is twenty-two today. Eek Gads. I am busy getting ready for vacation and scheduling the Caffeinated’s Vacation Giveaway and 5 year Blogoversary. We leave later this week for the East Coast. We are attending a wedding Saturday and then spending a week at the shore. I am totally unplugging, sticking my toes in the sand, enjoying all the foods I miss and spending some quality time with my favorite peeps. Looking forward to reading your posts today. Stay Caffeinated!

Happy birthday to your baby! It’s weird that these kids think they can keep growing up without our permission! Enjoy the wedding and your vacation! I’m excited about the Krentz book! They’re always such fun reads. Have a great week!

Happy Birthday to your lovely daughter, Kim! I hope she has a great day. I can imagine how bittersweet this must be for you.
The wedding weekend and the trip to the East Coast sounds like a lot of fun. I hope you have some great sandy and beachy moments!
And ahhh I can’t wait for you to read For Better or Worse. I loved it more than the first book!
Have a good weekend and happy reading!

I’m off to the shore, too, for just a few days next week. Can’t wait!

Love the cartoon about the Kindle being broken if the house is clean and the dinner is cooked.

Enjoy your books. I have my eye on When All the Girls Have Gone.

Happy Birthday to your baby! When my eldest turned 31 a few weeks ago I totally denied being old enough to have a child that old. My youngest will be 16 in Oct though so I still have a “youngling” at home. 😀 Enjoy your vacation and shore time!

Oh happy birthday to your daughter! I do hope you have a great time at the wedding and the shore. 🙂 You deserve some down time. Maybe it’ll help rejuvenate some and you’ll be done being sick for good 🙂

Happy 22nd B-Day to your baby! My baby is starting Kindergarten in a couple of weeks and I’m not ready at all. I can’t imagine how I’ll feel when he’s 22! Hope you have a fantastic vacation and enjoy your time off 😀

Happy birthday to your daughter! My oldest is turning 18 in September and we are planning her party. It’s hard to believe how fast they grow. I hope you have a great time on your vacation (it sounds really relaxing).

My baby is 22 as well. Where did the time go?! We are not doing anything for the summer as hubby is a work-a-holic, and I’m an indoor gal, so we don’t go anywhere! I really enjoyed your post on the Kindle Oasis. I am still trying to figure out if I am going to buy one with my settlement money, or maybe get a paperwhite. Or possibly go nuts on physical books I have no room on my shelf for! Have a great vacation, I hope it is relaxing and a great re-charge!

I feel your pain on deciding. For me it was the best decision ever. I am reading twice as fast and longer because my eyes and hands don’t hurt 🙂

  16. Rita

Congrats to your “baby” on her birthday! Enjoy your time at the wedding and have fun at the shore, yay for you! Since you said shore, and not beach, I’m going to guess you are going “down to the Jersey shore” as people in the northeast say 🙂

Hi!! For Better or Worse landed on my reader this week too. I’m very excted. I have Smut on my reader, but I haven’t read it yet. I will soon though. I hope you have a good week!

  18. Kristen

Wow, it sounds like you’re going to have a great week next week between the food, the beach, and the relaxation! Happy birthday to your daughter, and have a wonderful vacation 🙂

A shore vacation sounds so good to me. I live about 3 and a half hours from the coast (5 years) and haven’t visited yet. I did go once about 8 years ago. I hope you have a wonderful trip and unwind! Also, Happy Birthday to your daughter 🙂

Nice. If I want to do that, I can use my smartphones text to speech, but I usually listen with audiobooks 🙂 Yes…we need our readers. Someone on Facebook dropped theirs in the tub. My heart’s still

Thanks Tressa. Would you believe the hardest thing I have to deal with, is finding room for reviews on the blog. I have a review of the Liar by Nora Roberts that I read in March. Every month I have to push it back…It is scheduled for October right
