Good Morning! News, Books and Caffeine..While I am not 100% I can sincerely say I am feeling better. I still have a couple more days of meds but wow what a difference. Thanks for your patiences with my poor commenting. I will be chatting and visiting with you all today! The Gender Reveal party was a huge success. I am excited to share that ..IT”S A BOY! We will meet Clayton in late November.  As many of you know I lost my father Clayton, in January and when they revealed the name I was moved to tears. It is such a beautiful and strong name. I hope you have a wonderful week and as always stay caffeinated!

I’ve been away myself Kimberly so missed that you’ve been sick. I’m glad you seem to be on the mend.

And what a congrats on the upcoming arrival of Clayton and what a nice gesture given it’s your dad’s name.

I’ve been away from the internet from a while so I’m not sure what ailment you’re getting over but I’m glad you’re feeling better 🙂 And I’ve always loved the name Clayton, it really is such a strong name!

Great book haul too! I’m going to have to get some of those.

Clayton is a wonderful name! My cousin is pregnant with a boy and maybe I will suggest that name to her. All of her kids’ names end in “ton”, and she’s planning on doing the same again with the new child. 🙂 I am glad too that you are feeling better.

The Bone Witch looks really good. I hope it turns out to be. I am glad you enjoyed The Woman in Cabin 10.

I hope you have a great week, Kim!

  4. Greg

Glad to hear you’re feeling better! And congrats on the baby news. Clayton is a great name. 🙂

I’ve got The woman in Cabin 10 up next. Looking forward to it.

    Love the book club pic!

I’m so glad to hear you’re feeling better and this last round of antibiotics did the trick. That’s awesome about the gender reveal! And the name! How sweet and wonderful. I’m not sure I can look at the Kindle Oasis review! I’ve had the shopping bug lately and just keep wanting new toys. Thanks so much for the mention of my magic words post. It completely made my day. Have a great week!

I’m so happy you’re finally feeling better, Kim! And I’m very excited about the gender news for your next grand baby 🙂 And how special that they have chosen your father’s name for him <3 that's a beautiful tribute!
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading 🙂

    • kimbacaffeinate

Thanks Lexxie. Hope your summer is going well. We had a good time at the reveal and yeah I cannot wait to hold Clayton 🙂

    • kimbacaffeinate

LOL, I have two girls and one boy…in some ways boys are easier, and even but the mother-daughter relationship is so different

I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better! I’ve been fighting off a sinus infection and ear infection the last week or so, so I know how much it sucks to be sick in the summer. 🙁 I love the name Clayton. It’s so sweet they’re honoring your father that way.

I am so happy to hear you are feeling better!!! I agree Clayton is such a strong name, bittersweet that Clayton will live on. We named our little son Edgar after my Miguel’s little brother, who died young of a heart condition. It was horrifying when we realized Edgar was so early and so sickly. I am so relieved that Edgar lives and is so tough. Have a great week!

Awe, how sad but very sweet. Glad Edgar is well. My brother is Clayton the III but did not name his boys Clay.. so this will be the next generation of Clayton 🙂

I am so glad you are feeling better. Nothing worse than to be sick, and stay that way with meds and all. And I have always loved the name Clayton. 🙂 Hope you have a lovely week!

  10. Jessica

OOoh nice new reads! I’m curious about Bone Witch but held off on requesting for now. Really want to read the books I have, and the review books too! LOL! Hope you enjoy the new reads and have a good week!

Glad you hear you are feeling a lot better – here’s hoping this coming week sees you finally back to something approaching your normal fitness. Congratulations on discovering you are having a grandson – and what an emotional moment when you learnt the name… I was thrilled when my daughter gave my granddaughter the family name Jane – it’s my middle name and my mother’s name. Have a great week and take care.

  12. Jan

So glad you’re feeling better, Kimba. And how wonderful they’re having a baby boy and naming him after your father. It’s so hard to lose a father. I love the cartoon!

I hope you have a good week!

Glad you’re starting to feel much better. And big congrats on the soon to come baby boy! How wonderful for all involved– and how sweet to have him named after your dad. We used to know someone named Clayton– it is a good, strong male name and has the added bonus of memories for you all.

I hope to read Woman in Cabin 10 soon, It’s near the top of my wishlist. Enjoy this week ahead.

    • kimbacaffeinate

Glad you love the name too. I look forward to your thoughts on Woman in Cabin 10. I cannot remember if you read In A Dark, Dark Wood. If you haven’t add it to your pile.

    • kimbacaffeinate

Thanks Tanya. I cannot wait to hold Clayton and yes I am so happy to be turning the corner on this dreaded illness business.

Aww, congrats on grandbaby boy!! Love his name and what a special choice for you. Enjoy your week. I hope you continue to feel better!

I cannot wait to hold him. Ha, I was kind of worried myself there for a while. Thankfully it seems I am at the tail end of it. I am trying not to over do it, and resting when my body demands it. Thankfully we have vacation coming up in August and I will have nothing but sunshine and rest 🙂

  17. Wendy

Love the cartoon! Made me truly laugh out loud.

When we adopted our son, his name happened to be the same as my husband’s late father. We added my father’s name as his middle name, which made my dad tear up. There is something powerful about family names!

Awe, that is wonderful and I agree about the power. LOL on the cartoon..hey we have to be able to pay for books somehow 🙂

  18. Charlie

So glad you’re feeling better! Congratulations on the new addition to your family! It is very heartwarming that they will name him after your father. I am named after both my grandfather and my father, and now that I’m older I appreciate it and it means a lot to me. I hope you have a great week!

    • kimbacaffeinate

Oh that is neat. My brother is actually the III. However he goes by Bud and named his kids differently, so it will be exciting to see a Clayton again

  19. La La in the Library

Yay for one of each! I love the name Clayton and what a wonderful way to honor your father. I was crap at commenting last week because our modem does not like the hot weather. I remedied this with a small fan blowing on it two weeks ago, but it was so hot last week the fan was only blowing hot air! I will be doing the rounds on two weeks worth of blog posts this coming week. I am happy to hear you are doing a lot better. Here’s to being 100% next week. Have a wonderful new week. 🙂

Glad you’re on the mend. Yay for the reveal. Clayton is a good choice all around and how neat that name has strong emotional ties for you.

I’ll be off air for next week as we’re out camping so I guess we’re all taking turns at the not commenting. 🙂

I’m so glad you’ve been feeling better! It’s been awhile since I’ve been in the blogging world, so I’ve been being me and ignoring everyone for the most part lol. And yay, I’m glad your father’s name will be used! 🙂

Thanks so much for spreading the word about Bookwyrming Thoughts’s Coblogger Search! <3
