Here in the states we are celebrating Father’s Day. This is a hard one for me, as it is the first without my father. Our guests are here keeping me busy which certainly helps. I probably won’t be blogging today. The kids are coming and with all the awfulness in the world of late, I am going to take the day to enjoy them. I hope you have a lovely day. Stay Caffeinated and tell your loved ones how much they mean to you.

*hugs* Kim! I’m glad you’re having guests over today, so that you will be surrounded with love to make the day easier for you! And there will be celebrations of the other dads which will probably be a bit bittersweet.
You are right to want to step away from the computer and enjoy the people you love. Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

I’d never heard of Paper Fury’s blog before but saw that post somewhere else as well. Makes me realise how few book bloggers I know!

Our Father’s Day is in Sept, but my dad’s gone as well so know how you feel. Hopefully you enjoy your time with your visitors!

I am thinking of you. It’s been four and a half years since I lost my dad and Father’s Day is still hard for me. I try to concentrate on making it a good day for my husband instead. And right now, I’m loving on my family more than they might like. Such tragic events of late. It really does make one want to keep one’s family even closer. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and a great week.

Thinking of you today. I hope you have a good visit with family. So many horrible things happening in the world. Thanks for the reminder of what is truly important. Sometimes we get so busy with the everyday routine that we neglect to make time for our loved ones like we should.

I hope you have a good week.

Oh my. I forgot it was Father’s day! We’ve been so busy with so much lately, it’s slipped my mind.

Hope you have a lovely day with your kids and not to hard on you. **hugs**

*hugs* I’m befuddled lately, too. It’s funny, I was doing my post this week, going with the flow, and I ended up with two Tumblr additions, one where I couldn’t believe what theses idiots thought was important, the other was just plain beautiful. My point is, they had nothing to do with books so I deleted them both but it’s shows where my mind is right now! I just want everyone to be happy and see the good in the world, dammit!!!

You deserve a week of reflection, my dear… *triple hugs*

Heh, I must be a demon, then. I’ve never been a big coffee drinker, but I am addicted to caffeine in other forms, if that makes me any less demonic. 😛 Hope you enjoy the day with your family. There’s plenty I need to be doing today, but I think I’ll take your advice and spend it enjoying my family. 🙂 Hope you enjoy the new additions to your library, as well!

Hugs sent to you, and good wishes too. Let your kids enjoy the company of their father on this Father’s Day and have a relaxing, peaceful day with them and the princess.
Into the Light looks interesting to me, as do some other of your titles. I look forward to your thoughts.

I hope you had a nice day with your family. I can definitely understand that this day is a hard one for you this year. But spending it with your loved ones is the best thing you can do.
I had to work today, but spend my evening with my man.
    Sending you some hugs!!

I totally feel your pain, and admit that Mother’s and Father’s Day are super rough for me, because they’re both gone. It’s great that you have family around to squeeze you tight. That Brenda Novak novels looks awesome. BIG Hugs,,,RO

I understand about Father’s Day, and Mother’s Day as well, hard, days to get through when you no longer have them. I am glad you have company to get you through it and I hope you were able to enjoy the day.

  22. Melanie Simmons

Father’s Day and Mother’s Day can be really hard for people right after they lose their loved ones. It is really hard on children when everyone is in school making gifts for their fathers and you don’t have one to give your gift to. I had this issue after my father died when I was eight. I dealt with it by giving my gifts to my grandfather, which he loved. He became my surrogate father for all things Father’s Day and everything else up until he died seven years ago. Glad you had your family their to help ease the burden some.

  23. Tyler H. Jolley

I’m so sorry, Kim. I hope you were able to enjoy your company. I’ve yet to experience the loss of a parent, so I can’t say I know how you feel.
I agree, with all the terrible stuff that’s been happening, it;s important to take a minute to hold your loved ones extra close.

  24. AngelErin

So sorry that you’re dealing with this. I hope the company did help you this Father’s Day. *hugs*

I’m happy you had family around to keep your mind occupied and your arms full over the weekend, Kim. Family always makes things better. 🙂 I’m looking forward to your review of Marie Harte’s AND Aleatha Romig’s books. I hope you enjoy all your new reads!
