May 1st, 2016 Kimberly Event 25 Comments

1st May

Woot! May is finally here and we are kicking off the Clean Sweep ARC Challenge. Grab your ARCS -be they eBooks, finished copies or audiobooks and let’s do this! The goal is to read books from your arc pile, Netgalley and Edelweiss accounts. Remember you do not have to post a review to your blog during May, so blog ahead! Just post a short and sweet review on Goodreads and link it to the giveaway tool. Earn entries to win a 2016 New Release and participate in events. Be on the lookout for random surprises.

Caffeinated’s Goals and Progress

I have eight books on NetGalley and 3 on Edelweiss to get through as well as 3 audios. Of course I have a stack of  physical books that have been sent to me as well. Wish me luck. I will be updating my progress weekly here and linking it to the Sunday Post. Here are a few titles I hope to devour:

I’m looking forward to getting started! I set a modest goal—only 6 ARCs—because it’s going to be a very busy month for me. But I’ve got some good books lined up. Best of luck to you, and thanks for hosting!

I signed up! My mailbox demands that I sign up and take the time to knock those sweet gifts out this month. Thank you for hosting this sweep! I’m not sure I’ll get to attend the twitter party, but I’ll try. 🙂

I was thrilled to stumble upon your challenge. I am in need of some extra motivation to get to my ARC’s, especially the past pub dates.

    Good luck, everybody!

Kimberly, I may have screwed up my entry for the link to the event badge post and the sign up post. I put it on my Facebook page, but couldn’t figure out how to get the link copied so put in the link to my home page. It’s okay if you need to discount those entries and sorry for being a pain. In retrospect, I guess I could have counted our blog Monthly Report post where I mentioned participating in the challenge. 🙂

No worries at all Sophia. I will count them, thanks for telling me. Getting the link to Facebook is a pain. You need to click on post in Facebook so it opens by itself then copy url. No worries…:)

    Hi Kimberly!

I don’t know if it is just me with the hoodooed touch, but I tried to open the giveaway tool link and it will not open today even if I go back out and come back in with name and email. Just the little circle of death when I click on ‘begin’.

Coming back after finishing my third book and now I don’t know whether I entered the second book I finished (Synchronic). Oh well. Must remember to come back when I finish as well as updating all the other places!

I’ve now finished eight of the books I listed. I never thought I’d get through so many – and there’s still a holiday weekend with a poor weather outlook ahead!

Woot! Amazingly, just finished the tenth book! Thank you so much for getting me to get these books read – I enjoyed them all (and all so different). Same time next year?
