Sunday Post #200 Edition

I cannot believe it is the two hundredth edition of the Sunday Post. Where did the time go? This week was crazy! Saturday the kids moved into their own place and we have Sophia with us.  All week my home has been in chaos as they packed and took boxes out of storage areas. They are excited and we are happy for them. The biggest adjustment will be not having Princess Sophia her 24-7. Thankfully I will still be watching her while her parents work. Grandpop and I will have her stay overnight a few times a week but it will be nice to be have quiet evenings once again. Happy Valentine’s Day!!! We are going out to breakfast to celebrate, then headed to the kid’s place to return the Princess and help them unpack. I hope you have a wonderful week and as always stay caffeinated!

Aww, that’s both exciting and sad that Sophia’s parents are moving to their own place, but that’s still great you’ll get to see her! 🙂
I’m excited to hear your thoughts on Morning Star! I’m hoping to read the first book soon and I hope I love it as much as everyone else.
Have a great week, Kim! 🙂

It will be a big adjustment not to have the little one in the house but I’m sure it will be nice to get things back to normal. She is a cutie!

Signing Up for both Take Control and the 24 hours this week. I am looking forward to it, so many books to choose from I don’t even know which ones I want to read first 🙂

Enjoy your Valentine’s Day, Kim! Have a great week and Happy Reading! ox

Oh exciting times – but it sounds like a good balance… having your space to yourself again but still getting to see PS often.

Happy Valentine’s Day and enjoy your breakfast out.

Sounds like you’re having an awesome weekend!!! I hope it’s getting warmer over there! Happy Valentine’s Day to you, too!!!

I can’t wait to see what you think of Friday Night Bites – another fave of mine 🙂 And did you see I commented on your GR review of Stone Cold Cowboy? I’m so glad you loved it!! Phew!! Talk to this week hopefully!!!

BTW – what is up with the “The Smell of Other People’s Houses” this week? Worse title ever, IMHO. Ewwwwwwww….

Oh, I know how that feels! Some of my grandchildren lived with their parents in my guesthouse a few years ago, and it was so great to have the babies close by. When they moved on, it was sad.

Enjoy your special times together…and your books!

    Happy 200th edition, Kim! That’s awesome 🙂

I bet you’re both happy and sad about Sophia leaving your house. I have a feeling their house isn’t all that far from yours, am I right?

Morning Star!! I loved it, and I hope you’re enjoying it right now 🙂

Have a fantastic week ahead and happy reading.

Happy 200th edition! That’s a big number, gosh (and I’m just doing my first lol)

I hope you enjoy your Valentine’s Day breakfast! There’s nothing quite like someone else doing the cooking and no dishes 🙂

The Smell of Other People’s Houses looks like such a pretty book, I hope the content matches the cover. Enjoy your new reads!

Happy 200th and thank you for hosting this meme! It’s good to have peaceful evenings again and you’ll still see Sophia, so the move isn’t too much of an adjustment for everyone. I have to start Pierce Brown’s series since I’ve heard so many good things about it. I hope you have a great week!

Oh! How exciting for them and you can be a real grandma now – where you get to spoil and send the kid home. Lol! Brunch for Valentine’s sounds lovely. I should have thought of that. We are having chocolate fondue after the kids are in bed, which is our tradition. Have a fabulous week!

oh… how bitter sweet must be that the kids moved out. I think all moms feel that way: I want time for myself but I want to be with them ! At least princess gets to stay over night and everything. Enjoy your St. Valentine breakfast!

Yay for a new pad! It’s always exciting! Well, as long as I’m not the one always moving. lol Sad to have Princess Sophia less, but at least you’re still Princess sitting. 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day! My hubby is working and we don’t really celebrate VD anyway, but I am going to make a chocolate sheet cake. Because nom. Have a great week Kim!

Happy 200! Even though the kids are moving out, you’ll find when it’s too quiet that you do miss them! I’m happy that everything has worked out all around, and now Princess Sophia gets the best of both worlds!

Congratulations to your daughter and husband on getting their own place. I’m happy to hear you’ll sill have Sophia during the day. I had a great week too. I was in Utah for the LTUE conference from Wednesday to Saturday night. Had to come home late to be with my family for Valentine’s Day.

  25. Rita

Good luck with your kids’ move! While you won’t have Sophia the Princess 24/7 at least you will be seeing her on a very regular basis. Chaotic time, but yes, you and the hubs can have a few quiet evenings together..hmm.. reading!

The Smell of Other People’s Houses is on my radar and has a gorgeous cover!

  26. Lorna

Aww I know you hate not having Sophia full time, but quiet evenings are nice at times too. I am glad you will still see her every day. Sounds like you had a nice Valentines Day 🙂 Have a good week!
