Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

Today is the last day of Clean Sweep, and I managed to meet my goals. I will update you with my final numbers for May next week. I ended up taking an unscheduled break from blogging this past week. My sinuses got the best of me and I had some complications with my RA. Time in front of the laptop was brutal. Aside from work, reading, napping and caring for Sophia I did very little. On the upside, I am feeling much better and renewed.  I will be back tomorrow and look forward to visiting and chatting with everyone. Stay Caffeinated as we say good-bye to May.

Good that your sinuses are finally clearing, they can be very difficult to clear. Looks like some good reading planned. I haven’t read a Johanna Lindsey book for a long time, but gotta say I have loved what I read.

So sorry to hear that you’ve been feeling poorly but glad to hear you’re feeling better now. You got lots of great books this week! I have the Jeffries, the Stewart and The Canterbury Sisters and am really looking forward to all 3. Have a great week!

Hope you’re feeling beter- funny how the weather warms up and we get sick, right? I had a sore throat and felt sick for about three days too. Aggravating. 🙂

    Enjoy the reads

I’m glad you’re feeling better! I took an unexpected break as well, I was just completely out of it and didn’t want to type up reviews.

I’m glad to see you’re finally better, I was worried about you 🙂 And working while taking care of a baby is a lot, lol ! But at least, you could relax some, good. That video is hilarious, thanks very much for sharing it, I’ll show it to some friends of mine ! You’re going to have fun with the Kresley Cole and Sabrina Jeffries books, and I heard a lot of good about The Canterbury sisters. Have a great fun week, relax, and give a kiss for me to little Sophia – I guess that last one won’t be a hassle 😉

I hope you’re feeling better, Kim! No fun to not feel well, even if the blogging break may have been good for you.
You got some great books this last week, I hope you’ll enjoy them all.
Congrats on meeting your goals for the Clean Sweep challenge, way to go!
Have a fantastic week ahead and happy reading.

Like Red, I was concerned about you too. Seemed like you had that dang headache all month. I know you had to have been feeling miserable. Glad you’re on the mend, and look forward to seeing you next week. Hugs…

Oh sorry to hear about your sinuses. But I hear ya on them. I’ve come down with a sinus infection and took the week off from blogging as well. Glad to hear you are feeling better!

Here’s to next week and all the stuff. 😀

Yay for meeting your goals for the Clean sweep challenge! I am glad to hear you’re finally feeling better. I imagine it’s nice to be able to take a break from blogging when you need it. I’ve been seeing a few of those Harlequin movies in my facebook feed, they are well done.

OOoh nice! I got the Rules as well and I was soooo excited to get that one in the mail! Total surprise too! I loooove this author duo! They were the first duo I ever read way back when and I am glad to see them still writing together! Hope you enjoy all the new reads!

I’m sorry you’ve still been fighting your sinuses, Kimba. My allergies have been bothering me and I’ve finally decided to go to the doctor. So glad you rested and read. Those are my favorite activities when my allergies lay me low!

You got some good looking summer reads this week. I hope you enjoy them and have a great week!

I’m so glad to hear you’re doing better. 🙂 I’m still in a funk, but I’m determined to get some things done this week since it’s my hubby’s long week to work and the kids will be in school. Have some chocolate handy to bribe me if I falter. 😉 Give Princess Sophia a tummy raspberry from me and I hope you have a wonderful week!

I hear you on the sinus problems; I deal with them daily. I wish you a speedy recovery and plenty of naptime and reading. On the bookfront I am interested in Mariah Stewart, an author I used to read when she wrote romantic suspense but now I see she writes beach reads and small town contemporaries. Feel better!

Sound like a quiet restful week which is nice every now and than. Plus it gave you time to feel better those sinus’s are brutal recently. I’ve been taking stuff for mine off and on over the last few weeks maybe it’s the weather. Great review of Black Iris I’m picking it up thanks to your review. Thanks so much for hosting this weekly. Have a great week can’t wait to see what you read.

I am actually sad to say goodbye to May. I know the hottest weather is coming up and I am not looking forward to it. Also, June 1st means back to work for me.
I have been seeing The Caterbury Sisters everywhere, I hope you enjoy it! I hope you have a good, and healthy, week.

I hope you feel better! I loved that video lol. It is a tad true. My husband is usually sitting next to me when I’m reading so for me I can be imagining the fight scenes and he wouldn’t know it lol. Have a great week!

That Chesapeake Summer looks so good!! I’m headed over to Netgalley to see if I can get an ARC. Hope you’re having a good weekend.

Glad you’re getting better, Kimba. Sinuses, ugh! Nasty business… At least you’ve got some nice books and hopefully you’ll be ready to delve into them and brighten up a little. Hugs 🙂

I’m sorry you haven’t been feeling well, Kimba – sinuses and RA sounds like a particularly nasty combination. Your new books look wonderful, so hopefully you can dive in now that you’re starting to feel better. I love the cover of The Canterbury Sisters – it makes me want a cup of tea right this instant!

Sorry you had such a rough week but I’m glad you’re feeling better. When my hands are really bad being on the laptop is punishing so sometimes a break from it is a must-do. I didn’t have a great week in the fitness ‘arena’ either lol. On the book side of things, I’m off to check out some of those reviews and The Canterbury Sisters is calling my name, well I think it’s the cover whore in me, I love pretty teacups 😉

I hate sinus issues. I have terrible allergies, so I’ve been there. Glad you’re feeling better! Looks like you added some more books to get read too. I wanted to get more done for the ARC Challenge, but I did decent. 🙂 Have a fabulous week!

I’m so glad you are feeling better. I didn’t know you suffered from RA. I have a close friend who’s had it since her 20’s. The flare ups are brutal. You are one so dedicated and tough, it’s very admirable, Kimba.
