Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

For the month of March I read 18 books -10 were from my TBR pile. We are in Florida visiting my family and partaking in too much food and drink. All of my siblings arrived. It is the first time we have all been in one place since 2006.  The sun feels delicious but this afternoon we will begin the long journey back home. The getting there is always a lot more fun. 24 hours of driving..ugh. We have some stops planned on the way home including Nashville. Stay Caffeinated and I will see ya all on the flip side. Hope you have a Happy Easter 🙂

Hope you enjoyed your time in Florida! Sounds like quite the family gathering — it’s good to meet up with everyone once in a while 🙂

I’m very curious about your thoughts on the Kelly Armstrong book — my mom was obsessed with her for a while, but I had a bit of trouble with her Women of the Otherworld series. Loved the first two books, but the change in main character after a year of not reading the books was a bit jarring.

Glad you’ve had a good time. I hope you like Normal. I loved it, but Loupe said the narrator isn’t very good for the audio. So I’m crossing my fingers for you.

This rabbits pic is so lovely !!! I see at least 8 books already on my to-read list among those you acquired this week. Have a safe trip back, you’ll be able to put your feet up in the car 🙂

That’s a lot of books right there. Wow! I can only read as much as 5 to 7 books given my work schedule. Haha! BTW, I saw your photos of the Harry Potter world and it’s awesome. I wish I could go there too. Have a great week babe ♥

Oooh! Very fun trip! Sorry it’s over. That is a long time to drive. I’m curious what you think of Maybe Not and Omens. I’ll try to catch those reviews this week. Have a good one!

That’s a long time for you all not be together so when it finally happened, it must have been pretty emotional and a lot of fun. Sounds like a great trip and I’ve really enjoyed your photos all week. Especially the Harry Potter ones! Hope you have some good audiobooks lined up for that looooong journey back! Happy Easter Kim and have a great week.

Your Florida vacation sounds wonderful. Have a safe trip home. I agree it’s a lot more fun getting there than going home again…LOL. And good for you and your hubbie doing all that walking. Hope you have a fun week.

Ooh. I’m going to go check out Eeny Meeny! Looks awesome.
I hope you have a wonderful time in Florida with your family. I hopped over to Pensacola from Alabama to spend the weekend with my sister Sherry. We have family in from Michigan and having lots of fun. Thanks for hosting and have a lovely Easter!

I am currently reading a book that takes place in a fictional town close to Nashvile! What’s it like? I am sorry to hear your vacation has ended, but being back home is always nice as well. You got a lot of reading done in March! And you got some good looking books this week! I hope you have a great week!

Sounds like you’ve been having a wonderful time! I hope the drive home goes well. And you did well in March – 10 books off your TBR pile! And it looks as if you got some good books this week to rebuild the pile! 😉

A most excellent book haul! And yay for walking even if the feet are killing you. I got back on the treadmill this week and Jessica bought an elliptical at Sears on Fri. Just got to put the thing together now. 🙂 Safe travels my friend!

I’m glad you had a good visit with family in Florida. I adore long road trips in the car — but that may be because I have always been able to read in the car and hubby refuses to be the passenger (he can’t read in the car and gets bored). Hope you find enough things to do along the way to break up the trip.

We do yearly reunions with our family in Lake Butler, Florida 😀 Home of… absolutely nothing lol but we have fun and sometimes go into Jacksonville and we always go to Starke. I am super jealous that you have Normal. I have to read it soon! After I finally get around to YOU 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your vacation!

Happy Easter, Kimba! And YAY for family being together 🙂 I hope your drive home passes much quicker than you think it will. Looks like you received some great reads again. I love the graphic you found. Those words are so true!

Have a safe journey home! You’re right, heading towards a vacation is always easier than the trip home, but there’s nothing like sleeping in your own bed again! Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Kimba! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Kresley Cole’s books 🙂 (I hope those are audio! b/c I loved them so much more when I re-visit the on audio)
I finished Normal, I won’t discussed until you’re done. I got to see your review of Maybe Not before I purchase it.
That sounds like a lot fun, I love family reunions.

That’s great you had a wonderful vacation and wow, 24 hours of driving? You’ll need those stops. I’ve been to Nashville once (last year) and it was great, so enjoy. I really want to read Normal – sounds awesome- and I need to catch up on Molly Harper. I’ll have to focus on that this summer maybe.

I’m so had a great time on your vacation. I just got back from Maui Saturday. Talk about jet lag. Plus, being on a plane with a 2 1/2 year old for 7 hours feels like 7 years. lol
