Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

My Christmas shopping is done and the baking has begun. We went out to dinner with my daughter’s in-laws just the four of us and we had a good time. We had a little snow while I was baking and listening to the Alpha & Omega series on audio. I am taking a bloggy break until the 2nd of January. The Sunday Post will still be up next weekend and I have Top Ten posts and the like for you to enjoy while I am away. I need to recharge and truth be told I suck at taking more than a day off unless we are without internet. I took 7 days in September but as you know I was hosting a wedding..break? I think not. Prior to that I took off for two weeks my second year when we went on a cruise. It was easy- there was no internet..thanks to my friend Danielle @ The Book Whore, who faithfully monitored my blog I was able to relax and enjoy. Since that time, even on vacation I have logged on, commented back and visited daily. Aside from severe illness and the occasional MIA day here or there when family needed me first I am always social. I will probably pop on Monday and Tuesday of this week (arcs), but if you see me the rest of the vacation, please scold me. My hubby has threatened to hide my laptop..but knowing I am anal and will need to check  that posts go up and are shared to social media I don’t think he will deprive me. Enjoy your holidays, be happy and merry and for goodness sake stay caffeinated! See ya on the flip-side!

I hope you enjoy your time off! I would try to do the same but I’d go bonkers at the store if I didn’t have my laptop. I have everything scheduled so I shouldn’t be stressed out over blog stuff at least. Enjoy your break and Merry Christmas!

  2. Greg

Enjoy your break and keep the caffeine flowing! I hope your Christmas is fabulous and have a great New Years too. Hard to believe we’ll be tooting those horns and ringing in a new year very soon- man that was quick. 🙂

Enjoy your time off though I don’t know if you will really be able to stay away. Maybe just a peek here and there, a comment or two…no, spend the time with your family and friends and enjoy it. We will be here when you get back and will read your scheduled posts in your downtime. I hope Santa brings you some shiny new books and audios and that you have the best of New Year’s!

Have a great break! I took a break in September/October. I needed a personal break though I did still post every now and then. It is good for the soul. Enjoy your family and have a wonderful holiday!!

Enjoy your break, you’ve earned it. I have the blog all scheduled so my only plans are visiting and commenting which I plan on really enjoying as I’ll have lots of extra time over Christmas. I do plan on only doing this early in the mornings though but we’ll see!!
    Have a fantastic Christmas 🙂

Everyone needs a bit of a break now and then from their blog..maybe I should practice what I just said cause I have never taken one..LOL. Enjoy your Christmas and hanging with the family!

Enjoy your break! If I see you commenting or lurking I will definitely scold you. We all need to recharge occasionally and I’m sure I speak for everyone here, you do NOT need to comment on our comments or visit back. Rest! Relax! And recharge. We’ll see you in 2015. Ok, I have a feeling we’ll see you peeking in from time to time, but you will be firmly but gently shooed away. 😀

Have a great break and recharge! I am bad at taking time off from blogging as well, but luckily I am not feeling the need to take a break yet. I finally decided to join Tsu as well, this week and so far I am enjoying it.

Hope you have a great blogging vacation and a Merry Christmas this week! It’s definitely nice to get some downtime away from the blog every now and then. I had originally scheduled myself to have a break most of this week as well, but have ended up scheduling more posts than I intended to! 🙂 Hey…it happens.

This Sunday Post will be my last post of 2014 (: I really need some time to recharge as well, though I don’t think I’ll succeed in being offline completely. At least I’m not blogging, so that’s good. Have a wonderful holiday <3

Enjoy your break!!! I am also going to take a little break but not totally out the next two week, have some real life stuff going on that will cause me to be in and out.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday! Merry Christmas Kim! Hugs to you and your family!!!

You deserve a break, but I know how hard it can be to take one. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. And fun with the family, but also a little reading!

OOh nice! I need to read the original Snow Queen one of these days as well! I have the Complete Collection of Hans Christian Andersen, and when I looked at that story once I realized it was really long! Much longer than a short version I remember reading as a kid! Hope you enjoy all your new reads!

I hope that you manage to unplug and recharge. I’ve really let go this year. I’m lucky if I visit my favorite blogs once a week with my schedule…but I promise…it doesn’t hurt…too bad…take that time off girl!

PS Thanks for the shout out to my challenge!

Enjoy your break! I’m probably going to spend some time getting ahead in the few days that I do have off. Work makes it hard to keep up with the blog but I’m hoping my projects are winding down and I’ll be able to spend more time. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  18. Lily

Enjoy the break and time off Kimba! I mostly love Christmas because of that 😉 lol
I’ve been meaning to decide whether or not to join TSU. On one hand I want too and on a completely different hand I’m like “Do I need another obsession?” LOL

  19. Kristin

Enjoy your break. We all need one now and again and the holiday season is the best time to do it since we will all be taking small breaks to be with family.
..How are you liking TSU? I’ve seen it popping up more and more but worried it might not be something that sticks. Are you replacing FB with it?

No I am not replacing Facebook page, but it allows you to share to Facebook page when you post and I am noticing an uptick in interaction on my Facebook page because of it. I am enjoying Tsu and love how engaged everyone is at the moment.

Merry Christmas Kimba!!! I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing holiday! I have been a bit MIA online this week – work was crazy – and I felt like I was missing out 🙂 Oh well…it is nice to take a break every once in a while, though!

    Enjoy!!!

This is the second time I’ve heard of Tsu and I’m really intrigued now! Will def check it out! I need to get on the Christmas spirit, for some reason, I’m not feeling it yet although I’m finally done with gift shopping 😀 I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family Kim! I really miss your blog <3

I keep seeing tsu everywhere but have no idea what it is exactly or how on earth one uses it. It’ll be interesting to see what comes of it in the future.

    Enjoy your holiday!

Enjoy your much break and stay unplugged! I try to every Saturday and Sunday, I’ve noticed what a huge difference it makes. Now you know why you get bombarded with comments from me on Monday’s 🙂

  24. Lexxie

I love the books you’ve added to your books, Kim, and I agree with you whole-heartedly! We all need a true break every now and then. Enjoy your Christmas, relax, have fun, and read some good books 🙂
    Happy Holidays!

I haven’t decided to take a break, but I probably should. I might have a day here and there where I don’t post anything and I’ll definitely not be commenting as much. I guess we’ll see how it goes. Enjoy your break!
