Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

I hope those that celebrated had a lovely Thanksgiving. We did, although I missed not having my oldest here for dinner. We spent the weekend decorating so the trees are up and the house is decked out for the holiday. This week will be busy preparing for the party next weekend but I am excited. The hubby and I got new toys on Wednesday. It was time to replace our old smartphones. I love gadgets and have been enjoying learning all of its options and ordering protective covers. Woke up yesterday with a head cold, and scratchy throat. So my plans for today are books, movies and tea. Hope you have a wonderful week! Stay Caffeinated.

I’m with you with the scratchy throat and headache. I’m hoping a good night’s sleep will have up both feeling better! That’s great about the phones and I’m jealous you got your holiday decorating done! I’m hoping to have it done this week. You got the Sabrina Jeffries too! I’m so excited about that one. I’ve really been enjoying that series. Have a great week!

COYER sounds so much fun! I’m definitely signing up (will put you as my referral). I’m the world’s worst one click on my Kindle and I’m embarrassed to say I have over 90 books in my TBR that were/are Kindle freebies o_O This gives me a reason to work on that. Hope you feel better soon! Looks like you’ve got some good books to read 🙂

    • kimbacaffeinate

hehe..Lillian I have quite a few myself and a lot of those .99 cent deals!

  3. Bea

Boo for having a cold. I hope it clears up quickly.

My tree is up and decorated but I haven’t decorated the rooms yet.

I finally upgraded to an iphone 5s in August, then while in Houston I dropped the phone in the toilet. Ughhh… so I tonight I turned my iPhone 4 back on. Back to the dark ages. I just don’t want to spend the money to fix it.

I have been very happy with Samsung. We had the Galaxy S3’s and enjoyed them. I thought the Note would feel too big but it is amazing how quickly it felt normal.

    • kimbacaffeinate

I had to upload your button for the image. Hopefully it will be there next week for you to select.

I’m not ready to say I’m sick yet, but I’m feeling a scratchy throat and drainage too. Ugh! I almost got Illusionarium, but decided not to request it. I’m not a huge fan of time travel/parallel universe books. I hope you enjoy them all thought!

I think I am going to wait until next week to start decorating…just not quite in the mood yet, plus it’s supposed to be near 50 degrees today!

My mom put up a lot of Christmas decorations this past weekend, but we don’t get a tree until closer to the actual day so we can have it up for awhile afterwards. I’ve been doing well with holiday shopping though! Just have to finish up a few more people and I’m good to go!

  27. Ro

Every year I do something different with my tree, so I’m really going out there this year with a pink lighted tree with silver and white ornaments! Yay. Hubby thinks I’m nuts, but I think he’s resigned himself to the nuttiness. Sadly, romance author Catherine Anderson’s beloved hubby died recently, so I’ve pushed back my interview with her, but tweaking interview questions for whenever she’s ready. Also dedicated to checking out new Blogs that I haven’t seen. I hope everyone is able to achieve goals, rest a little and hang out with friends and family.
