I apologize in advance for being MIA today. We have a very busy day planned. First and foremost we are out searching for the perfect wedding dress. We have several appointments in the morning. For lunch we are going to Cheesecake Factory and working on invitations over lunch. Hopefully we find the dress before lunch as we would like to then go and purchase items for table center pieces. Her flowers are Gerber Daises in various shades of pink and we are going to make center pieces with hurricane candle holders, candles and silk daises. I imagine when I get home I will just want coffee and a good book. Maybe a foot rub. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Wish us luck and stay caffeinated ๐Ÿ™‚

Have fun with wedding dress shopping! I hope you find just the dress your daughter wants.

I’m on the West Coast so I was able to get my Sunday Post up early for a change and connect it…LOL. You got some good looking books this week. Have fun drinking some coffee, reading and relaxing after your long day!

Ah wedding dress shopping, yes I’m sure you will definitely need a coffee afterwards. It can be very draining. It certainly was when i was searching for my dress. Hope its a successful shopping trip. Have a great week and enjoy your new books.

Sounds like a fun day. Happy dress hunting, hopefully you’ll find the perfect one early on and can then enjoy the day. Love the sound of the centre pieces.

Enjoy your books, Tamed is bound to be hilarious ๐Ÿ™‚

I wish you luck with finding the prefect dress! It’s always exciting and I remember when I did that with my sister. I wanted to try them all on. Anyhow I’m sure you’ll find the prefect one. Have a great day! ๐Ÿ™‚

Good luck dress shopping!!! I remember the day I found my dress – so much fun trying on all those dresses, but exhausting! I also made my center pieces – I just did blue beach glass in a hurricane vase with a white candle. Simple and easy to do!

    Have a great week!!!

Oh how fun! I remember when I went dress shopping with my mom. The first dress I put on was not pretty. And the lady put a veil on my when I specifically told her I didn’t want one. She said, “NO VEIL?!” and put it on anyway. The whole thing made me look like a giant marshmallow pouf. We still have a great laugh over it.

I hope you two have a wonderful day!

Sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you. Good luck with the dress shopping! I hope you find a great dress for her.
Hmm now I want cheesecake as well, there aren’t that many good cheesecake shops here in the Netherlands, but in a city close by they have a shop called the cheesecake company which is run by an american and thye have great cheesecakes there. It’s been a long time since I last went there.

What a fantastic day planned today!!! I had Gerber Daisies as my bouquet, too!!!! It was dark pink, fuschia, and oranges ๐Ÿ™‚ And I think I only held maybe 5 of them (I was 35 when I got married so I went WAAAAAY understated). I floated daisies & candles in water in shallow bowls as centerpieces – sounds familiar!!! The craft store was my friend, too!!!!!!

I’ll have a slice of raspberry white chocolate truffle cheesecake, please ๐Ÿ™‚ HAVE FUN!!!!

What a busy, but exciting day you have ahead of you! It’s so hard to know how long it will take to find THE wedding dress – when I was in event planning I saw brides try on three dresses and know right away and I’ve seen others spend weeks trying on hundreds of dresses. I’ll have my fingers crossed that y’all find hers on the quicker end of the scale ๐Ÿ™‚ And enjoy Cheesecake Factory! I’ve only been there once but I still remember the yummy goodness!

I love that you are doing the wedding by yourselves and I love you are sharing the details. I have never been to the cheesecake factory. Enjoy your lunch!

Wedding Dress shopping is the best, I fell in love with the first dress I put on. I hope she finds her dream dress!

    Have a great week Kim!!

Good luck and such a fun, if busy, day for you!! When my eldest daughter got married she wanted me to do some things for her so I made the invitations and the wedding favors too. I read some online Martha Stewart articles and visited Michael’s crafts. So much fun, so many memories! My daughter surprised me by choosing my choice for my wedding’s first dance song as hers also…
I digress, big time! Have a good day, enjoy relaxing with a book tonight.

Good luck in finding the perfect dress! The Cheesecake Factory is the perfect place to reward yourself from a hectic (but hopefully fun) day. I entered your for The Fire Wish. I’ve heard great things about this book so I’m looking forward to reading it. I hope today was a success and you get some relaxation. Have a great week!

Good luck with the dress shopping!

Nice reads too! Many are new to me, but I absolutely LOVED Twice Dead! I read it what seems like forever ago, as it was one of the first few books I got for review. So yeah, I am definitely over eager for the third book. Hoping Kalayna is doing better–as she took time off from writing for personal reasons–and has this one ready for next year! So be ready for a sort of cliffhanger ending–really one that isn’t too cliffhangery, but leaves you ready for the action to come kind!

And oooh Black Rook! Read that one just a few weeks ago and totally, totally loved it! This one is going to be an awesome trilogy!

    Happy Reading!

Good luck with the dress shopping, sometimes I think that was the hardest part of the whole thing, finding that perfect dress!

I’ll have to check out your reviews of The Book of Life and The Fire Wish once I’ve finished those and posted my reviews. I meant to have them finished last week, but we’ve been so busy and we’re also reorganizing our house. I’ll be reviewing The Husband Maker this week. I hope you like it!

I hope all goes well with the dress! It’s a shame you can’t take the cheesecake to the stores and combine the two activities ๐Ÿ™‚
