Enjoy your week too, and I will be thinking of you 🙂

  1. Bea

The Mime Order looks interesting. Judging by your FB posts, you’ve been quite busy in your garden and around house. Don’t forget to take care of yourself too.

I am, I have been reading Book of Life in my spare time, and napping..LOL

  2. Angie

My garden isn’t doing so great. Well… None of my seeds came up so I went ahead and bought some plants. One of them being green peppers and now it appears to me that the leaves are dying on those plants. It is my first garden so I suppose it’s just figuring everything out.

I wonder if it is your soil or too much water. Take some pictures Angie and email me.

      • Angie

Actually I will email you tomorrow. I water once a day and since it is a new garden box we just build it is brand new fresh soil with some manure in it. So I am really unsure. I will take some close up picks of the plants. I’ll talk to you tomorrow!

I thought about grabbing Molly Harper’s latest book, but I have so much to read already, so I’m waiting. Hope the wedding planning is going well! Have a great week Kimba!

Great Haul Kim! I really enjoyed Rusty Nailed, and am looking forward to Lori Foster’s new series!!! I got the novella and book one last week off of NetGalley! I can’t wait to see what you thought of Viper’s Run. I can’t wait to read it! Have a great week 🙂

It seems like yesterday it was Memorial Day

    • kimbacaffeinate

If we don’t know how, we Google videos and talk to people at the hardware store. We have done everything from plumbing to tile.

  10. Ginny

It seems like everyone’s reading time went towards other things this month. I’ve definitely read less but have been able to squeeze in more audiobooks. I tried to garden last year and it turned out blah. I might give it another go next year. I just need to plan ahead better. Hope the wedding plans are going smoothly. Have a great week!

    • kimbacaffeinate

Yes, it is the warmer weather. WE are all moving and doing things we put off 🙂 LOL

  11. Jan

It sounds like you had a good week and month, Kimba, even if you didn’t get as much reading done as you usually do!

You got some good books this week. I bought Suddenly Last Summer. I’ll have to check out your review. And I’m very jealous you have Burn for Me!

Hope you have a great reading week.

  12. Michelle

I wanted to do a garden this year so badly but the days just went by so fast and I never got a chance to. I can’t believe June is almost over this year is going by way to fast. Better Homes and Hauntings looks rather cute might have to go get that one 🙂

    Have a great week Kim!!!

I loved Wallbanger, I laughed so hard I cried. Early reviews are saying RN is good!

    • kimbacaffeinate

You are not alone. Some days I feel like I really accomplished things and others nothing!

  14. tonyalee

I kind of let my garden go! It’s sad, because we had so many plans for the yard this year. We are doing a lot of projects before the boys come home so, the next few weekend will be BUSY.

I am so excited for Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews! I snagged a copy a BEA. I’ve seen a lot of good things about Lori Foster, so I might be checking out her books 🙂

Thanks again for the shout out! Have a good week!

  15. A Voracious Reader

I can’t believe June is almost gone either! We have gotten nothing done around the house with the kids gone. But it’s been fun. *winks* Sometimes you just have to stop and relax. The projects will still be there. Well, that’s what we told ourselves. LOL Great book haul! Have a wonderful week! 🙂

  16. Katherine

It’s crazy that June is almost over! Can’t believe how fast this year is flying! Glad you’re garden is doing well. We’ve had decent weather here this year so I’ve had some luck too. It’s so nice to have everything flourishing! Looks like you’ve got some great books (as always) I’ve got How to Lose a Lord in 10 Days and Better Homes and Hauntings on my TBR already but I’m sure you’ll add a few more 🙂 Have a great week!

Ooo I have mad love for that series. Have a great week Tabitha!

  17. kindlemom1

This month went by way too fast! I hardly got anything read either and I can’t say it is because I did a lot around the house. 🙁 I suck.

  19. Micky

I just cannot believe that half of the year is already gone! I did not get much reading done this past week either since I have become addicted to podcasts. I have been listening to as many of my favorite podcasters’ show as possible. But I will get back to my reading this week. Especially since I have a ton of stuff to read on my TBR shelf and I want to get them off of there completely!

You should post a pic of your garden. I am sure it’s gorgeous.

    • kimbacaffeinate

I will take some during the wedding to show ya all 🙂

  20. Micky

‘Better Homes & Haunting’ looks so good. I will have to check that out. I hear ‘Rusty Nailed’ is pretty good but I never did read ‘Wallbanger.’ I remember I just had to have that book only to purchase it and never read it 🙁 Maybe this summer.

    • kimbacaffeinate

Oh read Wallbanger…it is funny, and fresh and good times!

    • kimbacaffeinate

It was interesting. Have a wonderful week Stephanie!

  21. Rita

Can’t believe June went speeding by, for me also! Glad you are having fun gardening.
I have The Opposite of Maybe unread on my kindle, and have enjoyed the author before. I can’t wait for The Mime Order to release. The first book was so utterly creative I couldn’t believe it was a first novel.

Loved Bone Season and excited about Burn for Me. Thanks Melliane!

    • kimbacaffeinate

I haven’t read RN yet, but I am not the person to ask. I adored Wallbanger and it made my top ten list the year it released. I laughed so hard I cried.

  22. Kathy

I have projects around the house that need to be done, but I am so lazy. Good thing a 3 day weekend is coming up so I can start on them. I bought Wallbanger since is was on sale & everyone is talking about it. So I’ll be checking out your review for Rusty Nailed. Have a great week!

You can do a potted garden or make a raised bed and fill with good soil.

    • kimbacaffeinate

I might read it sooner, but my review for RN won’t post till September. Have a great week Amir!

    • kimbacaffeinate

Oh, talk to Loupe @ Hot Listens she is really good with figuring out those technical things Candace!

  24. Kristin

Yay for your garden! That is great you got it in! I wrote off putting ours in this year – did I tell you that already? It’s just because of this non-spring we had this year! Curious… what did you put in? Late season stuff? Cukes? Did you even bother with Tomotoes?

I never got to Wallbanger earlier this year but I think it will be perfect to read after this book that is killing me with confusion right now. I need FUN (and sunshine) right now!! Rusty Nailed, Rusty Nailed!!!!!! 🙂

    Have a great week, girlie!!!

    • kimbacaffeinate

I did flower gardens, but also potted veggie and herbs. Oh you must read fun!

  25. Jennifer

We haven’t really chatted lately, but I hope you are enjoying your summer! I’m keeping up with you via your facebook posts, looks like you’re having fun in the garden and with the books!

  26. Lark

It IS hard to believe June is almost over! Sounds like you’ve had a busy month with the DIY projects and gardening as well as blogging. I hope you get a chance to fit in more reading in July (and me, too — I’m behind. Way behind.) Have a terrific week and enjoy those new books!

I love peaches Tyler. While I did plant a patio garden of veggies and herbs I have been working on flower gardens..landscaping. We are hosting our daughter’s wedding in September in our backyard. As a result, all those things my hubby and I talked about doing someday have turned into now.
