I think I’m going to start Cursed Destiny today – I just finished Bren’s story and OMG!!! LOVE!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up on Candace’s ‘Saturday Situation’. I’ll be checking out the links today. 🙂

I need to get caught up in the Hollows series. I think I’m 3 or 4 books behind. Reaper’s Legacy and Scarlet Devices look yummy. I’ll have to add them.

    Have a great week!

I’m looking forward to reading the Dark Witch review! It sounds pretty interesting.
I love the cover of Scarlet Devices but the story summary sounds a bit meh.

    • kimbacaffeinate

I SO wish I could have joined in with the HoHoHo Readathon, but I’m so busy with stuff at the moment I don’t have much reading time. Mainly catching up on work after World Fantasy Con (the reason for my own rather dramatic sunday post this week!). Never mind, I’ll cheer everyone else on from the sidelines. Hope you’re all enjoying those Christmas books! 😀

    Have a super week! 🙂

    • kimbacaffeinate

We or at least I will do it again next year ..and then you can join!

  12. tonyalee

You got lots of good books this week. The Steam and Seduction series sounds good. I have the first book on my list to maybe buy! I just bought Dark Witch so I’ll be interested in your take on that.

I’m enjoying the Ho-Ho-Ho read-a-thon though I’m not getting too far in my goals. But I’m really enjoying the book I’m reading and starting to think about Christmas!

I hope you have a great week.

  14. Melissa's Eclectic Bookshelf

Loads of great books…can’t wait to see what you thought of Dark Witch!

I am seriously cutting down on the number of challenges I join next year…I can’t keep up…I’m going to try hard to focus in on a few key things and I think Yvonne’s will be perefct as cozies and series reads are two of them

I’ve been meaning to pick up a Kim Harrison book for AGES. Not idea where to start, though. What would you recommend? 🙂

    • kimbacaffeinate

If you haven’t read the Hollows series, then that is the place to start. First book is Dead Witch Walking and is often on sale as an ebook for 1.99. You can find it at used book stores and your local library as well.

  16. Andrea

    Thank for the mention!

I really hope you enjoy your books. I’m very curious about the Reaper book. Perhaps I should go ahead and read my copy of Reaper’s Property!
