I wish it was chilly here…yesterday was super hot and today rained, but the good thing is the humidity is finally going away! Lol, Georgia weather is so fickle. I was so excited when I found that random house box, I might have squealed and ran off with it. I hope you have a good week Kimba!

Fall is approaching too damn fast for me! And then summer doesn’t approach fast enough. 🙂 The Dark Between looks a bit creepy, will have to check it out. Glad you had a good week!

Enjoy your unplugged day. Very Autumnal here with crisp air and trees changing colour everywhere, I love it.
Starry Night looks perfect for snuggling up with. I know I’ve read that author before but I can’t remember which book.

Strangely, it hasn’t been that cold here in my part of Canada yet. Just really windy haha! Oooh and Debbie Macomber. I’ve been on the fence about her books, not sure if they’re my cup of tea! Have you ever watched Cedar Cove? 🙂

    Have a nice Sunday!

I have Swati’s new book too and I honestly can’t wait to read it. I think this idea of combining regular narrative with a graphic novel for one POV is fascinating and unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
I hope we’ll both enjoy it.
    Happy reading.

I haven’t heard of Chasing Shadows but it seems like a really interesting story. I cannot wait to see what you think of it 🙂 You’ve got some amazing books this week and I hope you’ll enjoy them. Great haul 🙂
Now I’m off to check what type of blogger I am! 🙂

It’s chilly here in the mornings too. I’m not sure how I feel about it. Our weather has been back and forth from hot to cold, which produces stuffy noses and coughs in my house.

You had such a great haul this week! Some of those books are new to me. I’m going to have to go check them out. Have a great “unplugged” day!

Our weather can’t make up it’s mind-freezing one minute, sun out the next then it pours with rain. And that can be in one day. I’m glad the summer is over though. I’m a winter person-sitting in my cosy bed beside the fire, reading with hot chocolate and toasted cheese…

Nice haul this week. You are starting to snuggle up in the cooler weather and it’s getting warmer and the days are beautiful here in Australia, we’re all coming out of hibernation. LOL

    Have an awesome week!

I really liked your link to Old Books Are OK. There does become a pattern where you only read certain types of books when you become a book blogger but once in a while why not review old books?
Ooh! Untold looks great. I would love to read your thought on it. Have a lovely week (:

Oh yes, fall is coming quickly. We are still having a few nice days, but I told my husband yesterday I’m ready for a fire in the fireplace. He looked at me crazy as the air conditioning was running. LOL! But, the cool days we’ve had, have put me in the mood for a fire. 🙂

    Have a great week!

I’m loving the cooler weather as well! Now if it would just stay this way…every time that I think it is finally cooling down the temps jump back up again. I LOVE the cover for The Dark Between and can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it. I just finished a book my McKenna recently called Fatal Strike. Is the book you purchased part of that series? It looks like you have lots of good reading ahead of you. Enjoy!

You grabbed some good ones this week – I also got Marie Hall’s Right Now along with the one that comes before it (for free on Amazon). Can’t wait to see your reviews this week!

LOL I’m glad you have it 🙂 I probably need to build in a blog free day too – it would be so hard to stay away, but I think my BF would appreciate it. Hope you enjoyed the day with your family!

I made it!! I have been busy and the kids are home from school… I’ve done a kid swap with my Brother in Law and now I have 4 boys at home (instead of 1 girl and 2 boys). It makes it hard to blog, and I’m glad I’m a bit ahead, but I’m afraid to get behind…. 🙁

Great haul too Kimberly, I like the sound of Foreplay, will have to check it out!!

    • kimbacaffeinate

The weather here in the Mid-Atlantic has been gorgeous — 70s and partly sunny for most of last week and this (I’m writing this on Wednesday, since somehow I missed commenting on Sunday even though I did read the post.)

Have a great week (or what’s left of it!) 🙂
