Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

I have been reading some awesome books that I will be sharing with you in October for “Things That Go Bump in the Night” I have everything from horror to romantic suspense, and I am getting excited. The week ahead on the blog is a good one, with a huge giveaway and some wonderful reviews to share. Have a wonderful week 🙂

Oh, you got The Naturals. That’s on my wishlist.

It’s been cool here too but I am not looking forward to pumpkin flavored food and drinks. Ah well, more for you. 😀

    • kimbacaffeinate

I won’t touch it till the month of release, since I am going cray-cray working on October’s books and one September book.

I am so in the mood for some spooky books full of hocus pocus. Maybe it was the last Friday the 13th or just the simple fact that Halloween is just around the corner but I am so looking forward to starting some scarier reads for the Something Wicked Tour!

I see we got a couple of the same books again this week, how fun! Congrats on all of your new reads Kim!

    • kimbacaffeinate

Agreed, I started reading my October books last week and it really got me in the mood!

  7. Bekka

I read The Waking Dark last week. It was… strange. Very dark and gruesome. Can’t wait to see what you think 🙂

I LOVE pumpkin – pumpkin flavored everything. Wawa makes these amazing pumpkin spice milkshakes. Sadly, there aren’t any Wawa’s for hundreds of miles, ever since I moved.

Hope you have a great week 😀

    • kimbacaffeinate

Bekka I am so excited about it, dark and gruesome sounds delicious right now, I will be sharing my review in October along with a giveaway!

It is very good, I generally get a flavored creamer, but they also have actual pumpkin flavored beans if you prefer your coffee black.

    • kimbacaffeinate

I love the cover too, but I think they changed it, and I am so not a fan of the new one 🙁

  11. A Voracious Reader

I wanted The Naturals and Disney shot me down. I know, right!? Ah, well. lol I see you picked up Tempting Bella. 13. Vicky Hooper

I’m so jealous of Americans and all your pumpkin flavoured goodies! 🙂 One of my fave flavours but very hard to find over here. Enjoy the early days of Autumn! Looks like you have some fantastic books to wrap up with as the nights get colder. 😀

What? Why no pumpkin flavors? Do ya all grow pumpkins or is it just us crazy Americans and our love of Halloween and pumpkin pies?

  14. Lola

Thanks so much for mentioning the launch of Lola’s Blog Tours!
You got some awesome looking books this week! I hope you enjoy them! The weather is getting colder here too and I have to say I am glad for it. I am looking forward to autumn, I love how all the trees turn to shades of orange, yellow and red!

Yes, pumpkin everything is good and I starting burning my pumpkin scented candles today..it smells like fall, and looks like fall since it is overcast and chilly today.

    • kimbacaffeinate

thanks Brandi, Candace is hosting s tour for it in November and I think she still needs some spots filled.

    • kimbacaffeinate

The key is to always be working in advance. I am reading books for the second and third week of October now, and have some down and waiting here and there throughout Nov 15th. It is the only way I could maintain this pace.

  15. Laurel-Rain Snow

What Nora Knew is on my wish list…and I love the cover on your copy! Thanks for sharing.

Now I’m off to check out some links. Enjoy your week.

    • kimbacaffeinate

    • kimbacaffeinate

I won’t get to mine until closer to release date, but I am hoping it is good!

  16. Jan

We got some cooler weather by the end of the week, too! I’m ready for it. You got some very good sounding books. White Space sounds especially good…but it doesn’t come out until 2014. 🙁

Hey! Did you put Under Your Skin and White Space on your last waiting on wednesday because you knew you were going to get them? Sneaky… I love the sound of both those books plus Tempestuous.
Ooh! Do you host “Things That Go Bump in the Night” or is it just a post you made up for your blog? I really want pumpkin scones to come back from Starbucks!
It’s getting more humid here and it rains all the time. Typical. Have fun reading!
