Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

We are moving into a heat wave and it’s finally starting to feel like summer…LOL We have had a weird one. My feet are killing me, but I’ve adjusted to the three day work week, and still managed to read and visit my favorite blogs. I hope everyone is well, and that you all have a delightful week. I received some awesome books this week and may have gone a little cray-cray with the freebies. Be sure to sign up for the Fraterfest and the Ho-Ho-Ho read-a-thon. If you would like to host a challenge please email me.

Oh that Avon swag bag looks fantastic!

It’s actually cooled off here, which is fine by me. I’m ready for October – cool weather and no ragweed. 😀

Squee!!! You purchased Steel Lily!!! I’m so excited for you 🙂 You MUST tell me what you think as soon as you finish reading it. Promise? lol.

Your upcoming “How the Heck Did You Do That?!?” is awesome. I’m sure there are LOADS of people dying for that information right about now.

We are finally back to summer here, too. It went from 110 with the heat index to fall and now back to around 80. Crazy ass weather.

    Have an awesome week, Kim!

I’m curious to see what you think of Gated! If you end up liking it, let me know, I have a recommendation for another cult book that I adored.
Also, Scorched has such a gorgeous cover, but I put it off for a while because I heard about the love triangle.
Those Avon books look so good! Enjoy your lovely books, Kim and have a great rest of the weekend! 🙂

So many books this week Kimba! I received The Troop last week, it looks like it’s going to be a really good one! I have Gated as well, which I need to finish reading. I hope you have a good week and enjoy that nice weather! It’s finally letting up on the rain here and it’s nice and breezy now.

    Thanks for the mention Kim!
I’ve heard a lot of good things about The Troop and I think Gated sounds great too. Lots of goodies there, enjoy 🙂 Freebies killed me too this week, I couldn’t resist (didn’t even try to be honest)!

I’ve just read The Masquerade Crew’s post and amen to them! I totally agree with it. I mean I have a review policy when it says that I don’t read some certain type of books but still I get review request for that type.
Anyhow you’ve got some amazing books this week – I can’t wait to see what you think of Gated! 🙂
Also I’m dying to read your review for Crown of Midnight. I’ll have mine up sometimes soon 😉
    Great post 🙂

  7. Vicky Hooper

I just scanned down the list of books you got and thought Christmas on Main Street was by Jonathan Ross. I was like ‘whaaaaaaaaaat?’ That would be weird. xD

Love the Avon goody packages you get. Must be so exciting when they arrive! 🙂 Hope you enjoy all these and have a super week!

That Avon addicts swag looks awesome! I’ll have to check out Her Mad Hatter and Resisting the Bad Boy. Both look great. Not that I really need anymore books. I mean, really. I’m drowning in them! Maybe I should check out that Tackle Your TBR read-a-thon to get a handle on things. 😀 Have a great week!

Glad to hear that you are getting accustomed to your new work schedule! I know how added hours can throw one off…I still think somedays that I should just start looking for a more normal 40 hour a week job!

Enjoy your new reads! Scorched and The Troop are both on my radar as well!

Are you going to do the read a thon? I haven’t decided yet, but I really want to! If I’m not too burnt out with RATs after BoB that is, and since it’s the sat day and I still feel like I wanna read that’s a good sign 🙂 lol

    Happy Reading!

Now is when it feels like summer!? It’s been really humid all summer here. I’m so glad my ac didn’t crash because we would have had a problem i.e. I would have been sick all summer. Gated looks really cool. Love the meme it’s my first time using it (:

  26. Lark

I’m sorry I missed this post when it went up — as you know, last weekend was a busy (and tough) one! I love your Avon Addicts package, and your other books look great. Congrats on the job and adjusting to it! I’ll be back to participate in Sunday Post in a week or two, depending on how it goes. (We’re driving 12 hours a day all weekend, on our way home, so I may not have time or energy to put a post together.)
