Congrats on your 2 year blogoversary!! How exciting 🙂 Our weather has been really mild, too. It’s weird, it went from over 100 degrees (with the heat index) every day straight to fall.

I always look forward to your blogger tips & tricks. LOVE the cover for Covet!

    Have a great week, Kim!

Isn’t that cover pretty, I am nervous and excited to read it, as she deals with taboo subjects..but she is brilliant.

Looking forward to your review of the Clockwork Heart. I’m new to Steampunk but want to read more.

Happy reading and thanks for stopping by!

    • kimbacaffeinate

I love Steampunk have you read The Girl in the Steal Corset? Try the novella first it’s the Strange Case of Finley Jayne.

    • kimbacaffeinate

*nods* I cannot believe it’s been two years it feels like only yesterday 🙂

  5. Fahima

Oh, you got Covet!! 😀 I’m SO excited for that book, and cant wait to get my hands on it! Yes, she deals with slightly taboo subjects, but I love how beautifully she puts them.

Congratulations on the blogoversary! I love your blog, and it was actually one of the things that motivated me to stat my own 🙂

Looking forward to this week’s Caffeinated Confession; it sounds interesting!

    • kimbacaffeinate

I am looking forward to your review..yep the series rocks and I love the cover for Covet too 🙂

    • kimbacaffeinate

It’s actually a children’s book and cd. Along with Random House we are celebrating the civil rights movement. I usually avoid children’s books but for a good cause I am willing to help get the word out.

  6. Sharon - Obsession with Books

    Congrats on 500,000 views & 2 years Kimba! 🙂

Possession is the eighth book in the Greywalker series, one of my favorite urban fantasy series.

I can’t believe you’ve only been doing this for two years because like I always say, you’re one of my blogging heroes!!! I came up with a name for you, “The Blogging Ninja”! From today forward, I will refer to you as such… oh, just Congratulations, girlie!!! xoxoxoxoxo

I didn’t know you read Kat Richardson!! I really want to get back into the Greywalker series but I’m so easily distracted!!! At least they have them at the library now 😉

    • kimbacaffeinate

Oh you are good for my ego, if I ever need a pick me up..i will call you 🙂 Yes, Kat Richardson rocks my face off..I love this series!!!

I like the look of your self-hosted blog. It’s very professional and inviting, I think. And congratulations on your two year blogoversary.

I was honored Random House asked me to join in to celebrate the Civil Rights movement and King’s speech is so powerful. Oh, and thank you for the lovely comments regarding my blog.

    • kimbacaffeinate

Oh I am so hoping that is creepy good, I will be reviewing it for “Things that Go Bump in the Night” in October and giving away a copy as well!

    • kimbacaffeinate

I loved On the Island so much I bought it for my MIL, and sisters and they loved it as well.

    • kimbacaffeinate

We could use some of your rain, send it over to NE and agree about the Covet cover. Have a great week!

      • Wickedly Delicious Book Blog

Our grass has been so green for this time of year so not complaining there. But darn it suppose to have a pool party and had to go out now to eat because of the rain. I will share. I have Darkness Dawns.

        • kimbacaffeinate

aww, hope the sun finds your neck of the woods soon and sweet you got DD too 🙂

    • kimbacaffeinate

Exactly, I will be sharing that in October with a giveaway!

    • kimbacaffeinate

Agreed, I am excited and nervous to start that one, she writes about taboo subjects and always manages to amazing me..but this one is a subject that can make me DNF a book, or drop a friend in a heartbeat so we shall see 🙂

500,000 views? In one month?! That’s insane!

I’m glad you’re liking the move to your new blog look and self hosting. I gotta say, from a reader/follower’s perspective, I really miss the old look and layout. Primarily because I was so familiar with where things were and could find it easily and quickly. I just haven’t figured this new one out and haven’t found it to be as easy to locate stuff. And I miss the colorfulness too of your other layout. But hey, that’s just one person’s opinion. 😉

Hope you have a fabulous week!

Thanks for your opinions Holly, change is hard, and I miss the blue a little too. I am still tweaking, and working on things. I do like the drop down menus so that people can find things easily. Is there something you are having problems locating? I wanted a more sleek look and less busy. I do have a new header being made which should bring back some more color. Thanks Holly

  16. Eirene

Wow congratulations on the 50,000 views, that’s crazy! And I’m glad you’re enjoying self-hosting so far. It’s pretty awesome, right? 🙂 Are you going to be posting links to good shared hosting sites as well? I have a great trick to getting cheap (but reliable!) hosting (It’s not an affiliate link, but I was so glad I discovered it then haha.)

Can’t wait to read your Caffeinated Confession for this week! 🙂
