Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Where the heck is this month year going? Is it me or does time really fly? I had a great week, and on Thursday a possibility opened up for me and I will share the details if they come to fruition. Just cross your fingers for me. This was a quiet week as far as books go, as I am trying to make my way through a pile of books. Don’t worry I plan to feed my addiction as soon as I do. *eyes massive wishlist longingly* I have a favor to ask. Could you come back later in the day or week and check out some of the blogs that link up later. Nothing makes me sadder than seeing some awesome posts with no comments. Who knows you might find the perfect book or make a new blogger friend!

Last week on the blog I brought you:

This week on the blog look for:
  • Taking on the Dead by Annie Walls (review-giveaway)
  • The Sundering by Megg Jenson (excerpt-giveaway)

I’m eager to see what you make of Breaking Point. I loved the first book (a lot) but I haven’t, for some strange reason, wanted to pick up the sequel now. I was desperate for it months ago too. 😀

You’ve definitely had a great week and some really great reviews this week. I’ll definitely try to come back later today to hit up the later linkers, but Sunday’s are usually a tight schedule for me. Breaking Point looks really good.

I’m loving all of these giveaway’s!! I try my hardest to visit as many blogs as I can when I participate in these type of posts. Being a new blogger myself I understand the desire to get new followers and those who are interested in what I have to say about a book. I have found so far that so many have been eager to repay that favor. Even if I can’t get to all of them today I’ll come back tomorrow to try to make it around to more.

I agree, and personally try to get back to those who comment..not so much for giveaways and especially this month where i am up to my eyeballs in blog activity. To help increase return comments..make sure you have a profile with each comment system.(disqus, comment luv, worldpress etc) Most bloggers will only comment back if they can easily find you. Try and use the same user name and image…so you are instantly recognizable.Link up your blog or twitter. I use the same user id and 2 passwords, so its easy to remember. In order to comment back now, i need to do a Google search, and most will not go through that. 🙁 You are doing awesome by the way!

Great week! I loved your reviews of Mystic City, Absolution, and Velveteen! I’m really looking forward to your thoughts on Alice in Zombieland and I Hunt Killers. My co-blogger reviewed the latter this week!

  25. Christy (Love of Books)

I need to get a new copy of Article 5. I lost my ARC copy and never got around to getting a replacement. I should get to it before Breaking Point comes out.
