2014 was a fun year for Challenges. I managed to exceed my goals in all I participated in. One of the exciting things that came out of this years challenges, besides some awesome reads, was my new found  obsession passion with audiobooks. A special thank you to the hosts; Ula @ Blog of Erised for hosting the Dystopian Read Challenge, Melissa @ Melissa’s Eclectic Bookshelf for hosting the Witches & Witchcraft challenge. Loupe @ Hot Listens for hosting the Audiobook Challenge and Sarah @ Workaday Reads for hosting the eBook challenge. See my 2014 year end challenge results..

While I successfully completed these challenges I failed at linking up and checking in. Next year, one of my goals is to follow through and update host blog as well. I love the UBB Challenge plugin that I use, but all of my counts are actually higher..since the count doesn’t change until the post goes live.

Audio final #’s 37

Dystopian final #’s 13

Witches & Witchcraft final #’s 14

Ebook final #’s 199

Coyer in progress.

Wow, you did super well with all of your challenges this year and I love how these challenges keep you on track with your reading! I hope 2015 is just as good!

  2. Tanya

You really blew your challenges out of the water! I’m also curious how you got your UBB stuff to show up in this post. LOL I only did the GR, the ebook & the audio challenges this year and managed to get them all. Not by big margins, but I beat the goals!

  3. A Voracious Reader

Congrats! The only challenge I did was the Goodreads Year long one. It’s all I can manage to keep up with since it counts my books automatically. I may join the BookLikes Challenge this time around though.

Awesome job this year! I joined way too many — I actually did fairly well, but checking in and linking up really became a chore, so I can certainly see why that was tough for you too. I’m cutting way back this year so I can actually keep up without making myself crazy! Happy New Year Kimba 🙂

I would do more challenges if not for the fact that I think I’d probably forget to keep track of them all and link up. I did the Graphic Novel Challenge this past year and loved it, but linking up all the reviews was a bit annoying sometimes.

Love to see people finish their challenges. Congrats. Yes I can identify with failing to link back to the challenges with reviews etc. Some call for it, some don’t. I am trying to work a system for myself to remember to do it for 2015.

You always amaze me with how good you are at completing challenges! 🙂
That’s really awesome that you took part in all of these. I need to look for more challenges next year to make reading fun!

Congrats on meeting or exceeding your 2014 challenges! I only completed one yearly– read over 100 books which I strove for (100) but I did do a few short challenges. I look forward to following your new challenges this year and your progress. I intend to give audiobooks a try again this year. I always say I don’t enjoy them, but they would make sense when I’m walking the dog or loading the dishwasher, etc, so I will make that one of my challenges to overcome 🙂

Wow, congrats! As for linking in, that has always been a gray area for me…the hosts should send us something to remind us…right?

Anyway, I completed one challenge (and didn’t link in to the host); the other, I fell four short, because I couldn’t read any more of those OLD books that had been hanging around for years (Mt. TBR Challenge)…LOL.

You rocked your challenges. I always sign up and never track, so in 2015 I have a plan..lol. I need one cause I keep signing up for challenges..lol. Thank goodness they all allow crossovers! 🙂

You were SUPER successful Kim! And you’re already on your way with COYER. I hope your 2015 challenges go just as smoothly! 🙂

Awesome to be able to create goals AND keep them! Awesome job and good luck next year. I haven’t done so well with my reading, but hope to step it up in 2015. Hugs…

Wow, good job Kim!!!! I’m absolutely miserable at challenges so I’ve just stopped signing up, but you kicked butt! Nicely done:)

Congrats on meeting and exceeding all your challenge goals, that is awesome! And I love that you are so into audiobooks now because of one of them. I really wish I could listen to them more than I do. I have a terrible habit of leaving the room. I guess maybe I need to put it on my phone and listen with headphones.

You have been so successful in your reading goals! I love your bar that you created. Good luck in your challenge next year!
