There is something about small-town romance series that make me want to pack my bags and move there. Mulberry Moon by Catherine Anderson is the third book in the Mystic Creek series. Once again Anderson transported me to this small Oregon town and pulled me in as she shared Ben Sterling and Sissy Sue Bentley slow-burning romance. Filled with heart, a dash of heat, humor, and suspense Mulberry Moon satisfied.
The Dead Seekers by Barb and J.C. Hendee is the first novel in their newest fantasy series. This was my first encounter with this author duo, but the premise intrigued me. For fans, this series takes place in the same world as their Noble Dead Saga. A light fantasy, with intriguing characters and dark, mysterious undertones I am eager to read more.

For 2017 in addition to my Goodreads goal of 275 books, I am tackling audiobooks, and adding the Backlist Challenge. Grab a caffeinated beverage, check out my goals and perhaps you’ll decide to join in me.
2016 was a good year for reading and listening here at Caffeinated. I read/listened to approx. 267 books both from my TBR pile and ARCS. I participated in three year long challenges. Come see how I did.
I consumed over 265 books in 2016 reading and listening to everything from horror to sweet small-town romances. Romance is absent from my top ten as I decided to separate them into their own top ten. I did this when I realized that despite my love of romance, other genres like fantasy, thrillers, and horror pushed them from my overall top ten list.
In 2016 I read 265 books and you’ll find many romances listed in that number. I love romance whether it’s a small-town romance or served on the side in a mystery thriller. Listed below in no particular order are ten romances that were among my favorites this year. Grab a cup of mocha coffee and enjoy. Maybe you’ll find your next book boyfriend.
2016 was an amazing year for Audiobooks. I managed to listen to 70+ books this year. Some were new releases and others came from my backlist.
Today I am sharing coffee pot reviews of books I have read from my TBR pile. It’s a mix of books, authors, and genres. I hope you find your next read.
