Confessions only a book addict understands. I confess twelve things about my bookish life that I hope you as a fellow book addict can relate too. Check them out and let me know if I am simply crazy of it you are nodding your head in agreement.
Last year I was flabbergasted to realize the movie Home Alone was 25 years old. Where did the time go? Birthdays sneak up on me and I lose track of how old I am..but the wait between book releases is painfully slow. A blogger commented it seems like forever since the last Mercy Thompson book release but in reality it hasn’t even been a year..and yet time seems to slow down when we think in terms of books. It’s like the whole Space Time Continuum is torturing book lovers.
Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow. Dress in your favorite snuggly outfit, (don’t forget those warm socks) and make some coffee, hot cocoa or tea and spend the afternoon curled up with ones of these books…perfect for a snow day.
When it comes to straight up contemporary romances I find myself drawn to books to contemporary romance series. I thought I would share what is it that draws me to these books. I adore them all from small quaint New England settings to Big Sky Country. Some are sweet and some have heat, but they all have a few thing in common. Grab a cup of cocoa or peppermint mocha coffee and enjoy!
Today on Nonna’s Corner we are celebrating Multicultural Children’s Book Day #ReadYourWorld. I am going to share DLee’s Bad Day, book five in the DLee’s World series by author Diana Lee Santamaria and an activity to encourage reading.
My grandmother use to make a huge pot of navy bean soup for cold winter days and each time I prepare it the smell and taste evoke memories of her and the home she filled with love. Today on recipe and a book recommendation I am sharing the recipe and a new romantic suspense, He Will Be My Ruin by K.A. Tucker. Later you can make the soup and enjoy He Will Be My Ruin while it simmers. Stay warm and enjoy….
I thought I would share a list of some of my most anticipated releases for 2016. These are all must haves. Books that have me giddy with anticipation and ones that I know I will devour on release day.

As you can see Urban Fantasy, Fantasy and Paranormal ruled this year. I had such a good time reading all of these books, and hope you find your next favorite read below. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!
