For 2017 in addition to my Goodreads goal of 275 books, I am tackling audiobooks, and adding the Backlist Challenge. Grab a caffeinated beverage, check out my goals and perhaps you’ll decide to join in me.
2016 was a good year for reading and listening here at Caffeinated. I read/listened to approx. 267 books both from my TBR pile and ARCS. I participated in three year long challenges. Come see how I did.
I consumed over 265 books in 2016 reading and listening to everything from horror to sweet small-town romances. Romance is absent from my top ten as I decided to separate them into their own top ten. I did this when I realized that despite my love of romance, other genres like fantasy, thrillers, and horror pushed them from my overall top ten list.
The Audiobook Challenge is back for 2017 and this year I am co-hosting! Loupe and Jennifer were directly responsible for my audio addiction. The first year I listened to twenty audios, and in 2016 I listened to almost 70 audiobooks. While I was saddened that Jennifer stepped down, I was excited that Melaine and Loupe asked me to co-host. Grab some java and check out the details. I am hoping you will join us!
Jayne Ann Krentz’s books and her those of her pseudonyms Amanda Quick and Jayne Castle are auto-buys for me. I was delighted to join in on her 12 Days of Bookmas Event in celebration of her newest release WHEN ALL THE GIRLS HAVE GONE. Grab a cup of cocoa and read as Krentz answers a question asked by fans. Be sure and enter Caffeinated’s giveaway to win a paperback copy of GARDEN OF LIES.
