I am happy to report the Princess is healthy and eager to run and have fun again. It’s April which hopefully gives way to warmer days and lots of sunshine! For the month of March, I read/listened to 25 books. (2 were children’s books for Nonna’s Corner)  In my total count are  13/15 books for the Take Control Challenge.  I listened to two audios that published as books before March 1st, but since I listened I didn’t count them. While I didn’t make my goal of 15, I did listen to and read some amazing books from my TBR pile. I am pleased. LOL There was a lot of panic over Bloglovin last weekend which turned out to be a coding error. I do hope by now everyone understands this. I really wish folks kept their heads. Bloglovin responded quickly, even going as far as to respond to each individual who expressed concern. May your week be filled with awesome reads! Stay Caffeinated.

Glad to hear that Princess is on the mend. 🙂 And yeah- April! When did that happen lol? Seriously though 25 books is pretty awesome!

I saw the Bloglovin thing, looked like they fixed it pretty quick. I saw some of the Twitter alerts and thought well they’ll figure that out- hopefully- and sure enough it didn’t seem to take long. Sometimes just need to chill ha ha…

    Have a great week!

I’m glad to hear the Princess is doing better! I saw the Bloglovin stuff and honestly, after I panicked for two seconds I got lazy again and just figured it’d all pan out eventually, lol.

Thanks for the reminder about Dewey’s! I’ll have to put an alert on my phone so I can put together a stack for that day. I hope you have a good week this week!!

Better to keep your head. I was shocked at how quickly people began ripping them apart. I thought they handled in professionally. Yes, I am hoping to do the Dewey myself!

  3. Grace

Glad to hear the Princess is better! I am hoping April brings the better weather. That Bloglovin mess was craziness on Twitter (but isn’t everything crazy on Twitter!) Glad it all got fixed. Have a great week!!

So glad the Princess is feeling better. It’s really rough when they’re sick. It sounds like you made a good dent in your TBR books during March.

I hope you have a great week, Kimba!

I am glad to hear the princess is doing well again! It seems the warmer weather has already arrived here. I saw some of the bloglovin panic, but didn’t pay it much attention, then I heard later it was only an error. Good to hear they replied to quickly and resolved it.

I also got Lost and Found Sisters this week! I am really curious about that one. Have a great week!

So glad to hear that your granddaughter has bounced back so quickly! You had an awesome reading month for March! Congrats on whittling down your TBR pile 🙂

Ash and Quill sounds good. I still need to read the first in the series, Ink and Bone! Have a great week! We’re having some nice weather here, too.

Glad all are healthy again. Even with the month you had in March, you got lots done! Take care and here’s to the nice weather again.

  8. Mandy

I’m glad the Princess is feeling better it’s no fun being sick. Sounds like you had an amazing month. Lots of great reads even if you didn’t make your goal you did great. I hope you enjoy your new books and have a great week! Happy reading!

Oh I’m so happy to hear the little one is doing good, Kim! I’m excited for April and hopefully for some nicer weather. I’m annoyed that I still have to wear a coat when I go out. I want to be able to walk in my short sleeves lol! Yeah I saw the BL thing and thought people were overreacting a little before BL could actually respond. And they were very quick to respond too once they got a handle of the issue. I was curious about the Jill Shalvis but it sounds different from her other series, so I’m waiting to see what readers think first. I’ll be looking forward to your review for sure.
Have a good week ahead, Kim!

So glad to hear Princess Sophia is up and running again. I’d much rather have the place look like a tornado ran through it than have nothing out to be played with because little ones are too sick to play. I had no idea there was any drama over at Bloglovin’. I keep saying I need to stay up-to-date over there, but I haven’t quite managed to get into the routine of it. I will though. I will. I hope you have a fantastic and warm week, Kim!

I got an email about the bloglovin thing but honestly all of it was kind of above my head anyway!! So, I’m glad its fixed because I didn’t really understand it anyway! Ha!
Glad the princess is better! Just in time for warmer weather and outside play time!
    Have a great week!

I researched and wasn’t able to duplicate it. So I wrote them with links to the posts. I had a feeling it was an error since I couldn’t believe they would knowingly do something like this.

  12. Danielle

So happy she is on the up and up and back to her playful self! I must have missed the BlogLovin’ issues because I am clueless 😉 Fashionably late!

  13. sjhigbee

Delighted to hear that Princess Sophia is now recovering – and as the weather improves, she’ll no doubt find running around outside will help. I’m in awe at the number of books you manage to get through on a monthly basis… Glad that March has been such a good reading month for you – and I hope that you have a really enjoyable reading week:). 15. Terri M., the Director

Glad to hear that everyone is feeling better this week. I enjoyed the warmer weather in Iowa yesterday and spend several hours outside hanging with the horses and one of my fellow cowgirls. 🙂 I’m glad I did because today is miserable and wet again. Have a good week, Kim!

You did wonderful with TBR! I utterly failed, and after the first week realized there was no way I could do it after what I had planned. for reading. Oh, well. So glad Sophia is back to it.

  18. Kristin (Book Sniffers Anonymous)

I remember seeing some big blogger talking about how Bloglovin is stealing your posts and some junk like that. I didn’t put much stock into it because when I went onto the website the only thing I had problems with images not popping up in my feed, but I’m sure it’s a me problem and I need to update something. Other than that, when I load a website through BL I click the “X” button at the top right-hand corner and am taken directly to the website without the bloglovin frame in it. A lot of people panic over little things and half the time it’s unwarranted.

Glad to hear Sophia is feeling back to normal. I’m very excited for the warmer weather, and can’t wait to put on my sandals. Enjoy your week!

  20. Nicole

I’m really glad that you mentioned the Bloglovin’ thing because I had heard the stink about it, but I hadn’t heard that it was just an error. I love Bloglovin’ and I’ve never gotten why some people are so critical of it—I was a bit skeptical when people were so upset recently.

I know that I saw a blogger post about bloglovin and honestly I was waiting for you or someone else to address this. I am glad you finally did and I am equally glad to know it was just a coding error. Over 20 books in the month of march? ugh I only had 7, I was surprised I guess a little I was aiming for 10, but overall not to bad given the circumstances I suppose. Glad to hear the princess is better 😀

Yes, I investigated it, as I received email but was unable to replicate and it sounded so outlandish. I emailed them. Bloglovin quickly fixed the error. Seven is awesome my friend.

I am happy to hear The Princess is well! Thanks for the heads up about Dewy’s; I never seem to hear about it in time. I signed up! I will be dropping back around for last week’s Nona’s Corner and looking forward to the new one. Have a wonderful new week. 🙂

I’m so happy to hear Sophia is doing much better! 🙂 Congrats on reading so many books in March – and doing so well with Take Control of your TBR. I did set an actual number goal but didn’t read as many as I’d hoped…but then do we ever? Well, I don’t but I know you hit your goals often. I’m always a little overly ambitious! 😉
Have a great week, Kimberly! Here’s to hoping your days are filled with some sunshine this week!
