Beauty and the Beastly Billionaire . . .

THE BASTARD BILLIONAIRE is the final book in the Billionaire Bad Boys series by Jessica Lemmon. Each book deals with one of the Crane brothers. While they may be billionaires they are also passionate, slightly flawed and all around good guys. It just takes the right woman to see the tamer side of them. Lemmon delivered a powerful, sexy tale as Isabella Sawyer takes on Eli Crane in a beauty and the beast game of wits.

Coffee Dates with The Bastard Billionaire…

  • First Date: This final book belongs to Eli Crane, the youngest brother who has recently been honorably discharged from the Marines after he suffered a serious injury. Eli is angry, uncertain and feeling survivor’s guilt. His brother’s want him to assume the role of COO at Crane Hotels, but Eli won’t leave his home. The solution? Send personal assistants to him. His brother hires Isabella Sawyer to secure PA’s for him, and Eli is discarding them like tissues. Number sixteen left her office declaring Eli a monster. Determined to protect her companies reputation, Isabella decides to pose as one of her staff and take the job. Their first encounter has me giddy as once again Lemmon pulled me into the story. I love her characters and while she claims to write about bad boys all are truly good guys beneath the grumbles and gruff.
  • Second Date: Do you love wicked banter, snark and sizzling sparks surrounding your hero and heroine? You are going to love the interaction between these two. While it is complicated by missed signals and Eli’s personal struggles the reader will find themselves laughing out loud and counting down the pages to the inevitable. Secondary characters, projects for Veterans and the Crane brothers and their significant others all added to the story. The Crane brother’s looking to aid their brother offered Eli word of wisdom that provided humor. For fans of the series, you will be rewarded with some information about a previous couple.
  • Third Date: This third date brings misunderstanding, confusion and pushes Eli. Despite the steps he has made going forward, we have to bare witness to some setbacks.  Even Isabella makes some mistakes, but I like how strong she is and her stance on never settling. We spend some time with the Crane clan as Eli find himself. All in all, this was a fantastic last date with moments that made me melt and swoon.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Billionaire Bad Boys series and cannot wait to see what Jessica Lemmon delivers next. THE BASTARD BILLIONAIRE was a touching, heated romance that I devoured in a single afternoon. While it can be read as a standalone, I am confident you will want to meet all of the Crane brothers and the women who tame them.

I just bought my first book in this series and first one by this author a few days ago so I was really pleased to see how much you liked this one. I will probably be getting to this one at some point 🙂

Love brothers, good banter, and secondary characters that add to the story. Why I have not tried this author.

  3. Katherine

I love the sound of this one! What a fun setup to have him staying home and her being the PA. I’ve been wanting to read this series and this sounds a book I’d love.

  4. Angie

This sounds really good! I am always hesitant to read these kinds of books, because I’m not a fan of the ‘insubordinate’ employee. Is this one like that?

    Great review.

  5. Rowena

I enjoyed this series as well. Jessica Lemmon is a new to me author, The Billionaire Bachelor being my first read by her but I’m looking forward to more.

Eli and Isa were a great addition to this series and their romance was hot! My favorite Crane brother is still Tag though. He was awesome even in this book!

    Great review, Kim!

I haven’t read this series, but I really want to read this one. I love this trope, and Isabella sounds pretty awesome. Although I almost wish she wasn’t “disguising” herself and just declared that she’s going to be his PA to see how things go?

But even so, I need to read this one. Thanks for the review and I’m glad you enjoyed this one.

I like the sound of everything but that big backstep in the third date. I always hate that in a romance.

you know when I read the first book I thought the oldest brother’s personal assistant was going to go for one of the brothers – but I can see how that could be a conflict of interest. But she was spunky and I liked her.
Anywho, I loved the first book, have not read the second, but thinking of starting this one soon

YES, I do, Kim! I’ve heard fabulous things about Jessica Lemmon and I think I’m going to start with this one. I kinda have a thing for grumpy, angry male characters.
    Thanks for the recommendation, Kim!

I’m reading such mixed reviews about this series and this book in particular, even though it hasn’t been published that long a lot of readers seem to be talking/writing about it.

Not a book that appeals to me but a friend of mine is busy binge reading her way through the series and so far has no complaints.

Yes to banter, snark and sizziling spark! Totally agree, this was such a fun read! I was happy to see the other Cranes (: Great review, Kim!

I love the way Isabella pretends to be a PA in order to figure out what’s going on with Eli! That in itself sounds like a fun way to get this romance going. 😉 And I can only imagine with Eli’s going through but it sounds like he and Isabella have some fun getting to know one another. Even if there are some misteps, it looks like these two are made for each other. I can’t wait to get started on this series, Kimberly. Hmm, maybe I’ll put book #1 on my TBR for March!!!

Wow… this sounds yummy!! A bad guy and a billionaire is a delicious combination. I’ve never read any books by this author but I heard good things about her book. I’ll definitely look at this. Great review as always, Kim. Love it. 😀
