Just call me Mister O. Because YOUR pleasure is my super power.

Making a woman feel ‘oh-god-that’s-good’ is the name of the game, and if a man can’t get the job done, he should get out of the bedroom. I’m talking toe-curling, mind-blowing, sheet-grabbing ecstasy. Like I provide every time.

I suppose that makes me a superhero of pleasure, and my mission is to always deliver.

BUT then I'm thrown for a loop when a certain woman asks me to teach her everything about how to win a man. The only problem? She's my best friend's sister, but she's far too tempting to resist--especially when I learn that sweet, sexy Harper, has a dirty mind too and wants to put it to good use. What could possibly go wrong as I give the woman I've secretly wanted some no-strings-attached lessons in seduction?

No one will know, even if we send a few naughty texts. Okay, a few hundred. Or if the zipper on her dress gets stuck. Not on that! Or if she gives me those get-over-here-and-take-me-eyes on the train in front of her whole family.

The trouble is the more nights I spend with her in bed, the more days I want to spend with her out of bed. And for the first time ever, I'm not only thinking about how to make a woman cry out in pleasure -- I'm thinking about how to keep her in my arms for a long time to come.

Looks like the real Adventures of Mister O have only just begun....

SEXY smartfunny ROMANCE Fave Narrator

Mister O written by Lauren Blakely and narrated by Sebastian York shares a forbidden romance filled with heat, snark and humor. I adored Big Rock and was delighted for the opportunity to review Mister O.  I enjoyed this lighthearted, humorous romance that delivered plenty of heart, making it the perfect summer listen. If you love romantic comedies grab your earbuds and enjoy!

Folks who read/listened to Big Rock will remember Spencer’s best friend Nick Hammer. Mister O shares Nick’s story. It is easy to see why Nick and Spencer are best friends as Nick has the same cocky swagger. The man sports tattoos and glasses. Nerdgasm Ladies! Like Spencer he is a sweet, successful guy who emits boyish charm and reeks of sensuality. The man raises the heat level whenever he enters a room but is surprisingly sensitive. He makes his living drawing the Adventures of Mister Orgasm a comic series that has been turned into a late show sensation.

Nick has had a thing for Spencer’s sister Harper Holiday and while he fantasies about her late at night he respects Spencer too much to cross the line. Harper makes her living as a magician. I found her to be charming, a little awkward but adored her witty with spunk personality.

When Harper approaches Nick seeking his help with men he begins by giving her dating lessons.Things get seriously interesting when Harper asks Nick to teach her the art of seduction. The story that unfolds is humorous, sexy and filled with everything from sexting to fantasy. While the overall tone of the story is light, fluffy and naughty Blakely managed to make it heartwarming with tender moments, and revelations. I loved seeing Spencer and Charlotte from Big Rock they added to the story and updates on this adorkable couple was appreciated.

If you are looking for a dirty, fun rom com that will lift your spirits, make you laugh aloud, and swoon Mister O is the perfect listen. The tale is told from  Nick’s POV and with Sebastian York as the narrator it offers listeners a pleasurable experience. York nailed the tone of this story allowing me to connect with the characters.

While Big Rock, Mister O and the soon to be released Well Hung all work as standalone they are told from the male POV and involve characters we first met in Big Rock.

I am in the middle of listening to Big Rock-probably bought after reading your review-thank you! Really liking it so far and with this one as soon as I read Harper was the main character I know I want to read(listen) to this one as well!

  2. Daniela Ark

OMG The blurb is hilarious!!! Only because of that I want to read it! I’m looking ofr the ULTIMATE romace book to brake my reading slump

  3. Lekeisha

I haven’t read Big Rock yet, so I’ll have to wait on this one. I have been curious about it since I saw the title and cover.

  4. Sophia Rose

I saw the blurb on this one and thought it sounded fun and hot. And now you confirmed this with his nerdy looks, her a magician, and their lessons in seduction.

Nerdgasm, love the term. You and Paul Goat Allen rock those new words. Here’s his latest
“Just used the word antediluvian in a review and feeling strangely happy about it.”
    Great review Kim!

  7. Melanie Simmons

I keep hearing about how great Sebastian York is. I need to try him. Glad you enjoyed this one. It looks like a fun one.

  8. The Bibliophile Babe

This was fun! Didn’t enjoy it much as Big Rock, since that whole “I won’t touch you because you’re my BBF’s sister” thing always annoys me and I never really got Harper, but it was still fun. 🙂

  9. Laura Thomas

This does sound like fun, Kim. At first, the title had me thinking of The Story Of O. That was quite the book way back when. This sounds more fun. And he sure appears confident in his abilities. LOL

  10. Lover Of Romance

oh this sounds like a fun book for sure!!! I do need to pick this author up and I LOVE this narrator…he is fabulous to listen to. I do like the idea of dating lessons. 🙂

Today I’m definitely checking to see if my library has these on audio and if not I don’t mind spending a credit on them at Audible. You’re killing me Kim!

  12. Quinn's Book Nook

I think I’ve only listened to one audiobook of Sebastian York’s but I SOOOO need to listen to more. This story does sound fun. I LOVE the whole best friend’s sister trope so much.

I love that you described this as a rom com, those are the best and definitely perfect for this time of year.

  14. Bookworm Brandee

Nerdgasm, indeed. And an awkward but spunky heroine sounds like the prefect match to a tattooed, glasses sporting hero. I have Big Rock in audio already and I’m thinking I’ll be spending sine quality time with Sebastian York this summer. 😉

  15. Katherine

I love that it’s told from Nick’s perspective and Lauren Blakely is an author I’ve been wanting to try (now there’s a list with no end!). This sounds good. I like the sound of Harper and love her profession! This sounds like a fun and spicy read.

  16. Angela

Yet another series that I *need* to read. lol Although since I love Sebastian York, I think I do the audiobooks.

  17. Silvia

It’s good to know it works as a stand-alone and also that they are told from the male POV, I have a thing for it so I should keep this read in mind!

  18. Kristin

Now THIS is a fun summer read!! I have book one already 😉 I just need to find the time… and a place to laugh out loud!!! 😀
