    Hi Kimberly!
Thanks so much for your enthusiasm for my Santa book. My editor alerted me to your blog. I’ve been lurking and reading the comments for a couple of days. Time to say hello, I figured. 🙂 Authors get a little excited, but nervous, with each new book. At least I should say that I get nervous. So, I really appreciate your comments. Thanks! Ho, ho, ho! (Hard to get too Chrstmassy in October, isn’t it!?) . Jean

Awe, thanks for stopping by and commenting. We adore the book, and yeah it is hard in October, but now is the time to start shopping for the little ones 🙂

I think I’ll get this book for my three-year old nephew as a christmas gift. 🙂

This looks adorable, gorgeous illustrations. Mia would love the pictures right now and down the track I’m sure she’d like the story.

  4. Jess

I love the vibrant illustrations! This book looks adorable and is sure to be a hit. I know I dreamed of catching or spotting Santa when I was little. 🙂

  5. Stephanie

Lovely review – this sounds like a gret book for my toddler as he’s already starting to get excited for Santa to visit!

I always tried to catch Santa when I was a kid. I was even good about not sleeping, but I could never catch him. I stayed up to 1 am one year (much to my parents chagrin), but still nothing. I was always adamant about leaving treats for the reindeer. I’ve been a animal person since I was very young.

This looks adorable! I know who you will be reading this book to! 😀 The illustrations are adorbs and I so need to recommend this one to a small cousin of mine.. or to their parent.

  8. Rita

Beautiful illustrations and sure to be a hit for most young children.

Unfortunately a bit too “young’ for my youngest grandchild, but it would otherwise have made a great gift (but I would skip reading the sentence about leaving glitter in a letter for Santa– yikes, sparkles all over my floor, lol)!

I am headed to my library tomorrow, I am going to see if they have this, it looks liek so much fun and with a 7 and 5 year old, I think we need to read this.

  10. Ramona

My son used to love these books about Santa! The Science of Santa, and how he gets everywhere in one night, and what he does when there’s no chimney, lol 😀

Thank you so much for this recommendation as I am on the hunt for cute Christmas books for my friend’s daughter for Christmas. She loves beautiful illustrations although she is not even two. Wonderful blog!

OH, cool! This just came out! I’m going to show it to Jake at B&N and see if he likes it! I like that it has a lot of text so even though he’s 9 and a “believer” there’s enough for him to read (make sense?). Great book to review! I never thought about what I’d do if I caught Santa 😉
