An Unbreakable Bond Morgan Carter is a claimed werewolf. Only her mate, Greyson Crawford, has the right to protect her, and to love her. But that hasn’t stopped rival packs from challenging Greyson’s claim. Morgan is the last silver wolf—the only female with the ability to produce werewolf offspring, which means there are many who would defy pack law to make her their own. An Unstoppable Evil When war comes to the Silver Wolf Clan on the eve of The Summit, Morgan and Greyson have no choice but to fight for their kind. With the arrival of an ancient enemy, the two realize that the war has only just begun, and to survive the greatest threat they have ever faced, they must learn to trust each other again…

Summit of the Wolf is the fourth novella in the Silver Wolf Clan by Tera Shanley. Intense and action packed I quickly became caught up in Summit of the Wolf, as the Silver Wolf Clan attends the Summit.

Our heroine Morgan Carter is the last silver wolf. Silver wolves have the ability to breed offspring and were thought to be extinct. Morgan and her mate Alpha Grayson Crawford along with their friends the Dallas pack have fended off claims for Morgan. Even after she bonded with Grayson wolves are determined to have her for their own. The threats have caused stress for this young pack and newly wed couple.

The tale begins with an intense battle scene and we get to witness Morgan and Greyson’s badassery. A visit from a stranger and Grayson’s dear old Dad added interest and hint of trouble to come. They head to the Summit, a gathering of clans, to try to put an end to these attacks. They all hope the Old Ones at the Summit can help abate some of these attacks. A certain bitch, who we all love to hate, attends and causes trouble. The Summit was interesting and the meeting regarding Morgan and her niece will have you angry and longing to spar with one particularly she-wolf.

The different side threads that develop in Summit of the Wolf added interesting. A budding romance, pack loses, and quality time with our couple added depth and allowed us to gain some footing between the action scenes. Shanley manages to add humor and normalcy despite the threats. After dealing with intense moments, we are rewarded with some tasty bits of information.

Each novella in the series has strengthened the series and I am curious to see what will happen next. Since each novella builds off its predecessor, I recommend reading The Clan Wolf series in order.

Summit of the Wolf delivered and only strengthened my attachment to these characters and their clans.

Nice review. I haven’t read any of these, but that’s great these novellas all add to the overall story. This one sounds pretty great and action-packed.

The whole series has been novellas Sharon, and one aspect I wish was different, but on the other hand they are easy reads and entertaining.

I may have to pick this up. This is one of several reviews I’ve read about this book recently and the more I hear about it, the more I want to read it myself.

Oh this sounds very interesting. I don’t know what it is about shifter books, but I can usually just get into them so easily. Btw, because of you my library is going… she’s recommending ANOTHER book? Sure, why not? LOL Yep, I’ll recommend this series since I think I would devour them.

I’ve come to love to hate a certain evil she-wolf. Glad she gets some time to shine. Everything is getting pretty exciting I see. I’ve read the first three and just need to get this one done.

You even make novellas sound interesting to someone who doesn’t love them! I haven’t read this series, though it sounds really good and I’m obviously missing out. Ah, well. You can’t get it all done… Have a lovely weekend, Kim! <3

I really like the idea of a series all done in novellas, especially since lately I haven’t had the time to read that I would like to have.
Glad this was such a great addition to the series Kim!
I hope you have an amazing weekend!

Morgan sounds badass! I’m not normally a fan of novellas, but I like that these books actually strengthen the main series.
Glad you’re having fun with these, Kim!
