Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

Snow and cold temperatures kept me indoors and snuggling by the fire. I spent a lot of time writing reviews, catching up on emails and snuggling a cute little princess. It is amazing how behind you can become when you take an unplanned vacation from the blog. This week I also launched Caffeinated Virtual Assistant, and will use my background to assist authors. I’d appreciate if you shared or recommended me to any authors in need of help balancing publicity and writing. I hope you had an awesome week, some great weather and read something mind blowing. Feel free to share and as always, stay caffeinated!

Snuggling a Princess is the best activity ever. Ev-er! 😀 Oooh…Nonna’s Corner! I like! And the mini chicken pot pies are something I planned on trying this week. Glad they’re yummy! Hope you have a wonderful less cold & snowy week, Kimba!

Glad you liked the posts, and yes snuggling with her is awesome

  2. La La in the Library

It was -25°F windchill here on Friday morning. I felt so bad that my son didn’t have a scarf that I cut the fringe of my favorite black pashmina, so he would wear it to school. Do I get extra mom points for that? Looking forward to seeing more pics of the cute little princess. I am curious to see what you think of Red Queen. The review ratings have been all over the place.

Awe, best Mommy ever. Our schools closed on Monday because temps were dangerously low

So glad you joined, it is nice to have some accountability. Thank you, I am excited to work in the industry.

  3. Greg

Congrats on your Virtual Assistant, best of luck with it. staying in by a fire and reading does sound good- it’s a great weekend for it. Hope yours is nice. And relaxing too.

Thanks Greg, we warmed up to 50 today, but still have tons of snow

  4. Lark

I saw your announcement of the virtual assistant business. That is such a great idea for you! And I can just picture you snuggling that darling baby girl all week.
I’m so excited about the new (forthcoming) UBB3! Thanks for linking – I had missed that one.
Have a great week, and enjoy your new books!

  5. Michelle

It’s slowly warming up again here…after forcing me to leave the heat on several times because of freezing temps. I wish you the best of luck with your assistant venture! Publicity can be a lot of fun, I wish I still had that job

Thanks for sharing our event Kimba! And about the UBB plugin – I had missed that, but I’m so excited. Sounds like a good week – any time snuggling the new princess is pretty great, right? Have a wonderful (hopefully warmer) week!

I am so excited about double reviews on a single post..I can finally do my coffee pot reviews again!

  7. Red Iza

Busy week, but that was to be expected ! I included your add for virtual assistance on the bar side of my blog – I usually don’t post advertisements, but it’s not the same for a virtual friend 😉 It’s too cold outside to really achieve the fitness goal anyway, and snuggling with a baby is a lot better. Have a great week !

Awe you are the sweetest. Thank you. I am planning to leave my day job to watch little Sophia in about 12 weeks, and felt this was the perfect time to begin this.

  8. Tressa

You got some cold weather and we got some warm weather – warmer than I like it this time of year. 80’s in February? Not a good determinate for the summer. Looks like you picked up some good books. I’m going to be reading Red Queen soon and I’m curious to see what you think about it. Have a great week, Kimba!

Thanks and it is true when you are snuggling her nothing else seems important:)

    • kimbacaffeinate

I do, I don’t think we will see her today and it will be the first time since her birth. Boo. Girl on a Train was such a good read. Happy day Ee

    • kimbacaffeinate

Thanks Melanie with the XoXperts box there was a lot of new to me authors but I am curious to see what they are all about.

  16. Lexxie

You’re so lucky to have a review copy of Becoming Rain! I can’t wait to read one, and I hope you’ll enjoy it. Your other new books look really good, too, Kim.

Congrats on launching your virtual assistant! I hope you’ll get lots of clients 🙂

I agree, the new UBB looks great. When I read short-stories or novellas, I don’t always feel like one story per post is a full post, not enough to say about it… And the same for DNF reviews. I can’t wait to have more freedom with that.

Have a fantastic week, Kim. Hopefully, it will become a little bit warmer 🙂

Snuggling with the baby by the fire sounds like the way to spend a week! When the Tornado was a baby I spent so much time snuggling with him and then I blinked and he was 5 and I don’t regret any part of all that snuggling! Look forward to your review of the Red Queen. That’s a book that I’ve seen everywhere but haven’t heard that much about yet. Have a great week!
