Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

Wahoo! It’s the 100th edition of the Sunday Post.  The first Sunday Post went live in April of 2012, and began with less than twenty participants. Since then we have grown and have reached as many as 85 participants in a given week. When I started the Sunday Post I wanted a meme that not only shared our book hauls and past week, but also gave us a chance to uplift others and build a community of blogger friends. I really feel that we have achieved that. You have all become an integral part of my week.  Through your posts I have gotten to know the person behind the blog and count you among my friends. I hope that you feel the same.

To celebrate I am giving away your choice of an Amazon, B&N, or Paypal Gift card valued at 15.00. This giveaway is for participants of the Sunday Post only, as my way to say thank you! Just answer the one entry question below with your name and blog that you link up.  Thanks everyone and good luck!

Wow, I remember the first Sunday post, I can’t believe that was back in 2012! I’m so glad to have been able to participate in it (when I can) and to have seen it grow. Congrats Kimberly & I hope you enjoy your book haul!

That little zombie doll is adorable!

The 100th edition of the Sunday Post, just shy of 2 years. An early celebration is nice. :) It’s a good meme, I like it and I’ve met some nice people.

    • kimbacaffeinate

Isn’t it cute, Annie Walls made it for me, the author of the Famished trilogy. He is sitting on my bookshelf :) So glad you link up each week Bea :)

I love the little voodoo doll (I think?) in the picture above. Really cool! I am behind this week because of Spring Break but should be doing better with blogging next week. Thank so much for the giveaway. 100th post!! WOW! I have found a few blog blogs to follow and chat with that I never would’ve otherwise. Some of us don’t even read the same genre but their Sunday Posts are always so fun. Thanks for everything!

I’m still blown away that this is the 100th Sunday Post. It really doesn’t feel like a meme to me, since everyone’s are so different. I have to say, I think you definitely accomplished what you set put to do, the Sunday Post is a high point of my week. I live connecting with the other bloggers through it and I feel that the Sunday post is really how I found my blogging home. Most the bloggers I interact with regularly I met through this blog. :) Thank you for hosting it every week! And for the great giveaway. (BTW – your mom has been in my thoughts, I hope she’s doing better and that you’re holding up with the stress of not being able to be there. Hugs!)

      • kimbacaffeinate

thanks Angie she is home, stable and doing pretty darn good considering. :)

    • kimbacaffeinate

Yes, I adore that everyone does their own edition of the Sunday Post. MY Mom went home Thursday, and has a nurse and physical therapist. Her blood pressure is final stable. She is still having to tweak meds as some have weird side effects. They both sound wiped out, but she is happy to be with her doggies. Thanks for asking Berls!

    • kimbacaffeinate

hehe..yes I am 100 year old blogger who still likes hot romances and dystopian novels. bwahaha.

Congratulations! 100th Edition! For me, this is my #9 and I have to say as well I’m so glad I discovered this as firstly I made good friends but also I can catch up on what everyone has been reviewing and other interesting posts which I may have missed not to mention books to discover to add the the TBR pile. This is my fav meme, and as Berls said, it doesn’t feel like a meme as everyones post is different. If you are a new book blogger, this is the place to start. I remember in the first few weeks I looked at all the posts and just let it all sink in :)

Congrats on 100 editions Kimba. I stopped numbering mine but I think I’m doing them nearly a year and have only missed the odd few weeks. I love the feel of this meme as I feel I get to know people and loving hearing all their weekly news. And I get to see all my books for the week together which is fun (but at times scary!).

Huzzah for the 100th Sunday Post! I love that you host this meme, and have met some of my favorite bloggers through it (including you, of course!) Thank you for choosing to celebrate it with a giveaway.

You’ve got some yummy books in this week – the Eloisa James and the Kady Cross both look good. And I just read a pretty good review of Mark of the Dragonfly, so I’m looking forward to reading it once the TBR Pile Challenge is over. Meanwhile, I’m trying to make at least some headway on my TBR pile now that I FINALLY got my work project done.

Have a great week, and again – congratulations on the 100th Sunday Post!

There is no rule, as for the move if you get UBB it has a tool for previous week posts etc. Check out Trish @ Betweenmylines. She uses it. As for me I copy and past the html from week to week and edit out the old and add the new. You will meet new peeps :) food for thought :)
