Share the Love Giveaway Hop
I want to introduce you to two blogs I adore visiting daily. They both review an eclectic array of books from YA to Adult in every genre and I have come to appreciate their reviews and opinions. They are both social and support fellow bloggers. I hope I stand correct when I count them among my blogger friends.
Mary @ The Book Swarm– Mary has been blogging since 2010 and reviews everything from young adult to erotica. I adore her eclectic tastes and often find books to feed my need to read. Mary adds her own special brand of humor to her reviews and one of my favorites are her book on a date reviews.
Maja @ The Nocturnal Library- Maja (pronounced Maya) has been blogging since 2011. While she reviews mostly Young Adult her love of Urban Fantasy and Science Fiction brings the occasional adult read. I love her interpretation of books and her passion for authors she adores such as Anne Aguirre.
There was a plethora of authors that I wanted to share the love with and after putting a list of names in a hat, I present you with a few authors whom I adore and whose books have given me hours of enjoyment. Without further ado…
Susannah Sandlin – author of paranormal romance set in the Deep South, where there are always things that go bump in the night! A journalist by day, Susannah grew up in Alabama reading the gothic novels of Susan Howatch, and always fancied herself living in Cornwall (although she’s never actually been there). Details, details. She also is a fan of Stephen King. The combination of Howatch and King probably explains a lot. Currently a resident of Auburn, Alabama, Susannah has also lived in Illinois, Texas, California, and Louisiana. Her novel Redemption won the paranormal romance category in the 2011 Chicago North RWA Fire and Ice contest, and is the first of three in a series that debuts this year.
Sandlin is the author of the paranormal romance series the Penton Legacy and Omega Force. She has also written suspense serial Lovely, Dark and Deep and the short story Chenoire. Not only are her books amazing she also happens to be the nicest person on the planet. She is open and friendly with her fans and shares in our excitement. For those of you who aren’t in the know, she is also Suzanne Johnson author of the fantastic urban fantasy series Sentinels of New Orleans. I have loved every book she has written and her books are on my auto-buy list.
Elizabeth Michels -blends life and laughter with a touch of sass into the Regency Era. This flirty debut author turns ballrooms upside down, and challenges what lords and ladies are willing to do to get what they most desire. She lives in a small, lake-side town in North Carolina with her husband, “Mr. Alpha Male,” and her son, “The Little Monkey.” Elizabeth is furiously typing away at her next novel while dinner burns in the kitchen. She loves to hear from her readers.
Michels is a debut author, in fact her first novel Must Love Dukes the first in the Tricks of Ton trilogy publishes on February 4, 2014. I will be sharing my review next week, but from the very first page she made me laugh and swoon. I am excited to read more from her and just had to share.
Sophia Jordan– took her adolescent daydreaming one step further and penned her first historical romance in the back of her high school Spanish class. This passion led her to pursue a degree in English and History. A brief stint in law school taught her that case law was not nearly as interesting as literature – teaching English seemed the natural recourse. After several years teaching high school students to love Antigone, Sophie resigned with the birth of her first child and decided it was time to pursue the long-held dream of writing. In less than three years, her first book, Once Upon A Wedding Night, a 2006 Romantic Times Reviewers’ Choice Nominee for Best First Historical, hit book shelves. Her second novel, Too Wicked To Tame, released in March 2007 with a bang, landing on the USA Today Bestseller’s List.
Sophia Jordan is a new to me author whose books have rocked my little world. I am a very eclectic reader and Jordan and I are a match made in heaven since she writes adult, new adult and young adult in several genres. I was blown away by her beautiful new adult contemporary, Foreplay, the first in the Ivy Chronicles and she brought game to her newest young adult novel Uninvited I recently picked up her one her historical novels.
