It’s Here!! Take Control of Your TBR Pile Challenge March 2013

It’s Here *happy dance* are you ready to Take Control of Your TBR Pile? I am so excited about the number of you who have committed to this challenge. Let’s have some fun! Below is a recap of rules, information on mini read-a-thon and the rafflecopter for you to link up those reviews! If you haven’t signed up it’s not to late, see link below.

Take Control of Your TBR pile
While I do an excellent job of keeping up on new releases and ARC reviews, my own personal bookshelf has suffered, so I decided that for the entire month of March I would focus on cleaning up my TBR pile, catching up on some series and finally cracking the spines on some of those books I cannot wait to read. So I am clearing my schedule, setting aside the ARC’s and drowning myself in my own pile of lovely books. (new releases on my gotta have it now or die list-excluded..I will still read those, even though they will not count..LOL)

So I am inviting you to join me! Glance over your shoulder at your own TBR pile…*yep it’s that big!* Ya know you want at them and to encourage you for every book you read you’ll get one entry into a Rafflecopter drawling to win a new 2013 release of your choice!

  1. I blog frequently and I really appreciate your content.
This article has really peaked my interest. I will take a note of your site and keep checking
for new information about once per week. I subscribed to your RSS feed
    too.

Also visit my web blog :: etud.insa-toulouse.fr

  2. S Voice has been advertised to do certain things Siri couldn’t, like launch a camera app or a voice recording app, however I don’t think I
was able to get much out of S Voice. 0 Ice Cream Sandwich is about
to be released in Korea and Japan. On the other hand, Galaxy Note comes
with three color choices – Black, White and Pink.

  3. The Canon refurbished cameras are able to provide this quality and reliability because they have been checked, repaired and
serviced by their manufacturers. It also shoots 1080p HD
video should you feel the need. Make sure that
the flash units polarities are in the.

    My website; canon eos 6d

  4. Just wanted to wish everyone good luck! :) I’m not participating, Kimba, as I’m tackling my library wishlist at the moment, but it’s a fantastic thing to do and will make you feel so much better in the end! :)

  5. Cripes, you scared me! I can never remember the actual date, so I thought it was the 1st already and was scrambling to put together a post for tomorrow. I need an assistant, I swear.

  6. Create with Joy had told me about this challenge but I didn’t realize it was for the whole month. Will have to sign up next year!

  7. Many thanks thanks for what turned out to be a very productive challenge even if at the end of the day I only actually enjoyed 2 of the 8 books I picked off my TBR mountain.

  8. Hey 2 is better than none :) have a great day!

  9. I will do it again soon, if you have ARC’s then join the month long Clean Sweep ARC Challenge I am hosting in May :)

  10. Thank God. :) I only noticed I was logged in with facebook *after* I linked up my first review. Silly me. :/

  11. Portuguese. ;D It’s very nice to meet you!

  12. Ahah, really, you’re a Costa too? Awesome! :D

Do you happen to have a Portuguese ancestor? Or maybe Italian, Spanish…

  13. no problem us Costa’s have to stick together ;)

  14. If it published before March it doesn’t matter. A gifted arc is tbr pile for sure

  15. Yes, it was actually published in 2012 :) Thanks Kimba!

  16. Hey, Kimba, just a small question ;) I had an ARC that I read, but it wasn’t sent to me for review, I actually won it on a giveaway last year, so I can count it, right?

  17. Ok cupcake, you need to post link to your review into rafflecopter ”Link to your TBR pile review” now if you post the review on your blog then use that link. If you are like me and write reviews weeks ahead of time, then write a short review on goodreads or facebook and link that one.

  18. thanks :) And yes I have reviews from January still waiting so I am gonna go with goodreads for some :)

  19. Hm I am lost again..where should be post the links?

  20. I totally failed my Feb challenge so I’m going to have to be extra hard on myself in March!!

  21. Hmm..I will want updates from you so we can keep you motivated

  22. I’ve already got eight that I have to read for reviews, but I’m determined to also knock several off my TBR list during this. So maybe I won’t sleep much during March. :) And I’m really looking forward to the Read-A-Thon. Thanks for putting this together, Kim!!

  23. What a fun challenge! You totally rock for organizing this! :-) My review schedule is crazy this month so I’m not sure how much luck I’ll have over the whole month, but I’m definitely in for the weekend. Can’t wait!!

  24. Hey..even if you only manage 1 or 2 tbr books you will be ahead;)

  25. Hello!

I’m signed up in the challenge under the name Jen7waters (this is also my GFC follower name), but on the rafflecopter I’m Carla Costa, I hope that’s okay!

  26. yeah, i read like a man woman for two months and actually have all of my arc posts done for March *wipes brow* So for at least three weeks I will be able to tackle my own books!

  27. I can’t wait for this to start!

  28. All signed up! I cannot wait to read a few from my pile. I need to remember to take off my FIre and Ice button and add yours to my sidebar today.

  29. I am excited for this one. I have a lot of books I want to get knocked out. Thanks for setting this up Kim. It’s going to be fun <3

  30. Welcome and we are going to rock the tbr piles!

  31. I’m so excited! I can’t wait! :D

  32. Yeah..we are gonna have fun and kick some TBR Pile butt!

  33. I will be doing this one. I have 3 non-TBR books to knock out this month but mostly will be working on my TBR :) Let’s do it!

  34. I am so excited for this because there are so many books out there I have been dying to read and I have had to put on hold but this is the month I make them (okay probably only some of them) happen!

  35. I feel you, I look over my wishlist for March reads..and OMG!! I am going to shoot for three a week and work my way back from new releases I purchased in Feb/Jan

  36. my feeling is ..even if you only read two of your tbr books, you come out a winner!

  37. hehehe *evil grin* glad I am keeping you on your toes Barb!

  38. I believe I’ve had a DUH! Moment. It took me a day to realize the Challenge is different from the Read-A-Thon. Yep, already using the #hashtag to tweet about the challenge – but after looking at my calendar realized the ‘read-a-thon’ doesn’t actually begin until March 15-18. I think I’m on the right page (finally) — yeah, yeah — go ahead and laugh at me. :~P

  39. Aww, it’s my fault for using the same image..but glad you are doing both!

  40. I would say no, unless you read enough to write an actual review say 50%.

  41. My goal is to read 10 books from my TBR pile :D I actually already read 2 these past 3 days, so I think it will be doable ;) It’s time to finish up some series :) Thanks for hosting, Kimba!

  42. I know who you are, I know where you live and I will find the review on GR when I click on the link…no worries cupcake, it is all good :)

  43. Hihi I am a total screw up. But least I have done a LOT of reading

  44. Yup here again, sorry! I may (totally did) f*ed up the links yesterday. So the show the book and not the review
